The relay is sort of a pain to swap but it’s only a $5 part. The part is known as the “recall relay”. The original part had a faulty diode that would fail.
It’s a mission critical part since it powers on ECM. Since the other relays in the IPDM have the same pinout, in a pinch you can “borrow” a different relay to test. Note the specific relay is required because some relays have a protection diode or resistor and some do not.
Edit: and you need a relay puller tool to pull these.
