The video card in your link has 1xDVI 1xHDMI 1xDP. If you specifically need HDMI ports this card has 1xDVI 3xHDMI 1xDP.

In terms of performance, a GTX 1050Ti is only little bit better than a GTX 480. It's not much of an upgrade but if you think you don't need more, it's a solid choice.

Thanks for the advice. I ended up getting a 1050ti. If my processor has issues or things still suck, I'll consider upgrading that.

u/Freeznips · 2 pointsr/buildapc

From cheaper 1050ti to cheaper 1060 3gb it's 30$ difference. From middle end 1050ti to lower 1060 3gb it's 10 bucks. Which imo is well worth it.

Edit: Responds with facts and links to back it up - downvote. Lul.

A great budget gpu is the GTX 1050 ti(~$220) and a good CPU is an i5-8600k(~$275). These are budget items and if youre not on a budget maybe bump the GPU up to the $350 RTX 2060. This one runs as fast as a 1070 ti and has raytracing cores so it can handle the new raytracing pack that's coming out for you want to try that.

Here is what I am doing. I built my computer last month, when the GPUs were insane. I am waiting for a decent priced 1070 or 1080, but in the meantime I bought a 1050 ti WF OC 4gb. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M6Y671T/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I am honestly stunned how good this is overclocked. I am still ultimately going to upgrade, but for right now, I am more than satisfied. BTW, overclock with MSI afterburner.

Or if you're really on a tight budget, then get a GTX 1050 Ti. Like I mentioned before, I mostly play GTA V for hours and it gives me no issues at all.

See this as an example:

Is this the one you are talking about?

I'd recommend either the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Windforce Graphic Card: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6VcMAbBB1WMJE

Or the ASUS Geforce Dual GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Dual-Fan Edition https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01MYMVAVM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_vWcMAb3ND6T47

Both are great but I am partial to the windforce since I have use it in a budget build I did around Christmas time when it was $199CDN. EVGA cards are also highly recommended but the price goes beyond "budget" at this point unfortunately.

Hope this helps 😊

Also will this GPU: https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Geforce-GDDR5-Graphic-GV-N1050D5-2GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=sr_1_6?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1500344981&sr=1-6&keywords=graphics+card be compatible with all my stuff? Sounds silly, but I don't see it on the pcpartbuilder so I want to make sure.

u/Artie-Choke · 1 pointr/gamingsuggestions

It won't run Fallout 4, that's for sure, nor DS 3. Most people are giving away their old cards like that.

I had to get a 1050 to get any decent frame rate out of Fallout 4. Decent one will run you about $150. Best just save up for that.

u/meowN · 1 pointr/RocketLeague

As an alternative to that 380 linked in the other post, a 1050 TI 4gb would also be a good option at that price range https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Geforce-Graphic-Black-GV-N105TOC-4GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/

I've been running a 1060 from gigabyte for the past few months and am very happy with it.

  1. For the most part, yes. I won't say that every single one draws power from just the motherboard, because there might be an exception or two that I am not aware of, but most of them fall under power requirement threshold.
  2. In my opinion, I would recommend getting one graphics card. Getting two cheap cards is good on the budget, but there could be an extra cost with finding a compatible motherboard, and having a big enough power source to support two cards. Most mid range cards have four ports, and some have five. Even some lower end cards have five. The gtx1050ti (link in 3) has five ports. It gets it's power from the motherboard, and considering you won't be doing any gaming, that shouldn't be an issue.

These good? I'm not familiar with nvidia gpus and their relationships with manufactures.

u/WagonWheel22 · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

So here's what I picked out:

GPU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FN8TXTW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_etaEzb9AHYJ8X

RAM upgrade: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fuaEzbMJRNGGZ

SSD: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IEKG484/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dwaEzb3QX8SP5

Do you think those will all work? And if I wanted to upgrade processor, which would you suggest? Thanks a bunch

For a few dollars more , try to get the 1050ti instead of 1050, it has double the vram and more gpu beef behind it, it really is worth it. If nothing else, the 2gb vram on the 1050 will REALLY hinder your performance to come in the future

https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Geforce-1050-Graphic-GV-N105TD5-4GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1494031148&sr=1-2&keywords=1050ti&th=1

Theres a rebate too for that ^

In any case I recommend picking the cheapest dual fan cooler 1050ti you see from these brands

Thank you. I'm going to buy a new graphics card this week because i'm noticing that Intel gpus are ment for gaming. Would this gpu run Fortnite?? https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Windforce-128-bit-Graphic-GV-N105TWF2OC-4GD/dp/B01M6Y671T/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=GTX+1050+Ti&qid=1569370908&sr=8-1

> All 1050ti's have no power pins

Really? I've seen a couple like this one, for example.

u/Valenydia · 1 pointr/playrust

I have an AMD Radeon R7 240, don't remember when I got the thing.I could use an upgrade and it could be a business expense (my career is in online marketing and web design).Think this will be an upgrade? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6Y671T/

Benchmark sites say its 4 times better, but idk how that translates into actual FPS.

u/eschaefer20 · 1 pointr/masseffect

I've been looking at this one, and the 8GB version of it if I really wanna future proof rig.
