Might also be worth looking into concealed carry insurance. Several plans cover you and loved ones in your home, and are quite affordable. Even if you don't intend to carry out of the home, they can still be valuable. A perfectly justifiable shoot could cost you thousands if the person you shot has litigiously inclined family.

It's a clamshell case that bolts to the wall. To keep the gun from being pulled out the side, there's a protrusion that fits into an open bolt. Once the safe is open, the shotgun practically falls into my hands.
I really like it, but it doesn't allow chambered storage. It requires open bolt storage.
