I'll be serious in my reply.

I frequently have to wear face paint when out in the field. Remember, it doesn't just go on your face, but also your on and in your ears, and your neck. Basically everywhere that isn't covered by fabric. Eyelids, your nose, lips, etc. I only use green and brown paint. I don't touch non-earth tones because blacks and greys in most environments are target indicators

  1. I start with a base of green paint all over the exposed skin.
  2. From here there are a couple of options to apply the brown paint: blotches and stripes. Additionally, you can use a combination of blotches and stripes. I will cover the combination method
  3. I'll do splotches first. Basically, I'll apply blotches of brown to my hand, then press my hands together to create mirror of that. Then I'll press my hands to my face in different positions to get a randomized look.
  4. I'll then put brown paint on my fingertips and swipe across my fact.

You'll want to avoid putting dark colors on your nose since that can create a shadow and bring out the outline of your face as opposed to break up the outline. Even an untrained observer can pick out the human face and the 5 Vs of a human body, so be very conscious of this. A human face is incredibly recognizable to other human beings. Be cognizant of this.

Lastly, be sure you reapply every couple of hours, especially if using the camo paint that comes in tubes. Face paint has a tendency to fade with sweat, so be aware of that. I'm not sure if you're going to be doing a lot of stalking or whatever, but if you're doing that, always keep face camo on you.

    Hope this helps.
