You can always buy a brand new assisted Swerve for $20.
A pocket knife is always useful. I'm fond of Kershaw, I like the leek a lot, but it doesn't fit in the $20 limit.
Maybe a Zippo if you don't already have one? Then you get to play around and do tricks with it. Which. after watching some of these videos I think I need to learn more of.
Along the lines of the Zippo, a new yoyo could be fun to pick up and learn some tricks on. I've read this yo yo manufacturer is amazingly good for how much they cost. Stick with either the T5 or the N9, they seem to be the favored ones from this company.
Maybe one of those will work, if not, books are always good. Have fun!
