MX Anywhere 2 ($51) Link It's just big enough to not feel awkward in the hand but small enough to put in your bag without adding much bulk. Also it's rechargeable via usb and so far I've only charged it twice in the year I've had it. Great investment if you're mobile.

Mine isn't physically smaller than a regular mouse, but I like that it's bluetooth and can be plugged in like a regular mouse if it needs to charge. It's the logitech mx anywhere 2 mouse.

I am using these two: Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Wireless Mobile Mouse / Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810. Haven't used more than 15 minutes with Sony TV, but I don't think there will be any issues.

• You are gonna have to spend the first few hours downloading all the updates, the system is pretty much unusable before that. Keep checking for updates manually until there are no more updates available.

whaaaat? how is this even possible? you might want to get an ambi mouse and use it in your left hand. otherwise i'd recommend the anywhere mx 2. I had the first version, and it served me very well. It broke after a year or two when I accidentally stepped on the receiver. only complaints with the new one are a lack of the storage compartment which isn't a big deal if your reciever (which is small) is always plugged in.

FYI: the Black and Stone colours are on Amazon for 59.99. BestBuy was out of stock for me locally.

Pretty good deal for a great wireless mouse. Kind of like a smaller MX Master: it's really comfortable, sensor is fantastic (you can use it on any surface, mousepad not required), wireless works flawlessly. This is an all time low for the mouse: it normally retails for around $80-85.

Also at Amazon for the same price, but is "temporarily out of stock".

Some recomendations, note I do not play any games with mouse/kb from couch but I have a Nvidia Shield and SteamBox and use controller for retro and RPG type games (I agree FPS sucks with controllers and I imagine RTS as well)

If you are short on USB ports for wireless transceivers you probably should look at Bluetooth mice, as long as your laptop has built-in Bluetooth.

If you need the mouse to track on surfaces like glass or reflective surfaces you should go for the MX anywhere 2, otherwise the M720 should work on most fabric/wood etc pretty well.

BYO OS (ex. Win10, just install it from a USB stick, which you can setup from Microsoft), RAM (up to 32 gigs), and HDD (either an M.2 NVMe or a 2.5" SSD/HDD, or both). I have one in my living room right now & it's great, very compact & quiet. They do make a beefier model with a better GPU (EN1080K) & faster CPU (i7 instead of an i5), but that starts at $1900 barebones (it is also liquid-cooled from the factory). If you really want an optical drive, they have a USB slim Bluray drive (CD/DVD/Bluray) for $89 here:

As far as a keyboard goes, I like Logitech K400. It's compact, it's wireless, it's cheap ($40, but usually on sale for less than $30), and has a touchpad built-in, so you don't necessarily need your wireless mouse at all times:

They used to sell a special couch mouse called the M515, although I believe Logitech's only current offering on a multi-surface mouse (like a fuzzy chair arm) is the Anywhere MX 2 for $55: (or the larger MX Master for $70)

Logitech MX Anywhere 2 has been good to me.

I use a Logitech MX Anywhere 2 with my Shield TV, my desktop and my laptop. It's probably way out of your price range but I've never used a mouse I was happier with. I also have a Logitech M557 that I take with me when I am out and about...it's not nearly as nice as the MX Anywhere 2, but if I lose it somewhere I won't be as upset.
