In my opinion, the Madcatz TES+ is a great stick to get because it constantly goes on sale, is relatively easy to mod, but most importantly, has Sanwa parts already.
Originally released at $200, I got mine for $80 free shipping many months ago during a Newegg sale, and it has since gone on sale again for $100-$130 on different retailers. You just plug in and play; no need for driver installation. I have had no issues at all after about 200 hours of use.
For a beginner fighstick, and as someone who wanted Sanwa parts without having to mod a flimsy $50 entry level stick, I think this was a solid, solid choice of fightstick, which I can take to a local by just putting it in my backpack.
Damn.. no one is using the TES+?
It's on sale on Amazon for $159 right now.

Not that I should base my decision on buying one jus cuz some pro players use them, but looking at this list makes me want to jus go with the Hori RAP4 or spend like $70-$80 more on the TE2+

Sadly we Canadians don't get the same deals (partly due to crapy exchange rate)
Grey plungers most certainly exist. Hell, the Mad Catz TES+ comes stock with them.
I bought a madcatz stick and I haven't had the same luck with mine :T I try to be generally careful with my sticks, but this one had the start button give up on me after about 3-4 months and the lower middle button not register inputs from time to time. it's this one for those who're curious
https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C
edit: meanwhile my razer atrox which I was sceptic about is still holding strong despite having been put through a lot more abuse. No marketing intended, just kind of impressed that it's still holding out since it was used by some friends who were... less then careful with it
Then I am assuming the stick is a 1.0 lol. I still have the stick in my closet. 7 years with the SF4 TE stick, and it finally died on me haha.
My current stick is http://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1457390836&sr=8-1&keywords=TEs%2B and I am really enjoying it!
I hate the Drone. The TES+ goes on sale for $100 pretty often, but I think it's a much better stick even for $130: https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=te2s+arcade+stick&qid=1557253343&s=gateway&sr=8-3
get the TES+

138 dollars right now, I bought this for 150 but I left it in california. Just moved recently for a new job so I picked up the hori rap sc6 version.
I wouldn't get a cheap one because they come with cheap parts. that won't feel as good and will start to fail after a while And some of them are even hard to mod.
You can get a Madcatz TES+ on sale for $150 right now. https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C?th=1
Yes.
Most Fighting Games can deal with Direct Input devices like Sticks...unless they do not like the Unreal Engine based games.
Madcatz has own drivers for the PC too.
Hori should work right out of the box too.
No idea for the Razer Atrox or the Etokki and Qanba.
Edit: A few examples

Naw dawg. Fightstick.
What makes it great is that it's basically just an enclosure for Japanese arcade parts, so the important bits weren't produced by madcatz.
I would take a look at this before making a decision:
http://forums.shoryuken.com/discussion/137321/what-stick-controller-should-i-buy-read-the-guide-on-pg-1-before-posting/p1
However, the TES+ is on sale:
https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0
So, if price is an issue, I'd say get the TES+.
PS4/PC fight stick
I have an SFV TES+ https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C
I like it a lot. It's in your $140-$200 range. It's kind of larger which I like. The buttons are Sanwa and the stick feels good.
If you're interested in the TE2 stick but want to also save a few bucks , the TES sticks are basically the same thing internally but without the quick opening front panel. It can still be removed but just with an allen wrench. Amazon Link
Still 25% off. I have this one. I love it.
I have owned 2 other sticks and used various others. This is by far my favorite.
Alternatively, if you're looking for something smaller, but equally sexy

Highly recommend either of these sticks, if you're willing to spend the $$ for it. They make swapping parts and customizing very simple. A 5 year old can mod these sticks, if you're into that sort of thing.
Well, I have the TES+ which is an amazing stick. It is by Madcatz, who is now out of business. This stick will be rare and worth quite a bit in the coming years.

If you don't want to find one of them I recommend the Razer here: https://www.amazon.com/Razer-Panthera-Arcade-Stick-Mod-Capable-Compartments/dp/B01N1KFRU7/ref=pd_cp_63_3/131-5054613-0716250?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01N1KFRU7&pd_rd_r=H4CZ6D86C7H1H5VAPFTF&pd_rd_w=oovcS&pd_rd_wg=WJDrQ&psc=1&refRID=H4CZ6D86C7H1H5VAPFTF
Personally, I don't like any of the current Hori sticks. But people are always releasing new sticks. I'm not a huge fan of the artwork on the Razer, but the stick is quality. I will always love my TES+ though. I hope it holds up over the long term. Qanba is a good brand too but I don't really dig their aesthetics much.
It's all up to you.
Is the Street Fighter V alpha fight stick this one PC compatible?
If you're interested in a new stick, the TE-S is 20% off at Amazon right now. There probably won't be a better deal during Evo

Hey man, I got an arcade stick a few years ago but never got around to using it, used it probably under 10 times, I did replace the thing under the joystick with an square gate instead of the 8 way, if you’re interested let me know. It’s this one
Mad Catz Street Fighter V Arcade FightStick TES+ for PlayStation4 and PlayStation3 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018AW408C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_hYfwDbY8D23X2
The TES+ is 20% off. This will be the most bang for your buck. Usually sells for 200$, its 150$ now. Get it while its hot:
TE S+ is $150
https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C
right now the Mad catz TES+ is on sale for 150
The Hori Rap4 Kai ussually goes for around 150, the Rap5 usually goes for the same amount or 160
The Mad catz Alpha is decent i still recommend you get the "big boy sticks"
The sony Venom if you buy it from amazon uk it should be around 86$ US if my conversion is right please check.
I dont recommend doing this but you could buy a razor atrox on sale for cheap right now for $80 and buy a brooks converter to play on ps4 here
out of everything i think the Mad Catz TES+ and the Hori Rap4 are the two best out of all the options here.
Here is a review on the Rap4 Kai the video is solid but these guys are hori fan boys
Here is a review for a TES+ i may be biased because i like mad catz
All honesty They are both good sticks. The main differences is the parts. The Hori has a very fast and responsive stick that everyone likes and the buttons are not arcade standard but people have grown to like them for their feel after they are broken in. The Mad catz stick uses Japanese Standard Sanwa parts so they both the stick and buttons feel great, the Mad catz stick is a little easier on moding for aesthetics i've heard but all in all they are the same. and for now the same price pick witch ever fits your needs or witch ever looks cooler to you.
the new MadCatz TES+ is 50 bucks off on amazon right now - https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018AW408C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469131772&sr=8-1&keywords=TES%2B
