There's a cheap adapter that will work for your headphones, something like this.

No the adapter I think should come with the headphones, if not they are less than $5 on Amazon..Monoprice 107139 6.35mm Stereo Plug to 3.5mm Stereo Jack Adaptor, Gold Plated https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005E2Y0KK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_x4cRAb7E67YPH

Neither of those have an amplifier, I'd suggest spending a little more and get the fx-audio dac x6: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HERNVQQ . You can use a 1/4 to 3.5mm converter to plug in your headphones(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005E2Y0KK).

I’m using this adapter and having no luck.

I've been using these headphones for computer/metal detecting for 6 years now, bought a 2nd set that I still haven't taken out of the box yet. They're awesome! Buy the 6.5mm adapter if you need it.

Sound quality is great for the price, cord length is very long (makes it nice when you put down the detector you don't have to take the headphones off).

The ones without the cable is much cheaper. Will this have. A problem?

Buy
a sound card, any kind will do.
2 sets of 3.5mm to 1/4" splitters
a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter (Don't need if your headset already has one)
a mixer like this

Hook up your 2 sound cards and headphones to the ports at the top of the mixer. Set only Teamspeak to use this sound card as playback device. Everything will still use the system default. Touch the knobs to adjust volumes.

All the phantom power supply does is shove 48V (generally) through to the mic so it can power the capsule. I mean it's technically possible to just use the preamp in your computer's sound card, but I really wouldn't recommend that on a quality front.

HOWEVER! With that budget, you could easily get something like the Behringer Q802USB. USB in and out, so you can capture/record the mic via USB, and even have your system audio coming out of it, too. That way you can have your headphones plugged into that, and you can hear your mic live, as well as your system audio.

Unless you have headphones with a 6.3mm jack, you might need one of these to use your headphones with it, though. I'm also not sure if it comes with a USB cable, but the Q&A says it does.

I'm more talking about audio directions.

So... drums -> PC in

PC in + music + "background" mixed into one channel (I assume you have this covered) -> headphones

Making the only missing part the drums/pc connection.

In that case, your drums probably have a 1/4" jack, common on audio equipment. A simple converter should do the trick. Add a male/male 3.5mm audio cable to line in.

The USB connection can only send midi data. Midi data means what keys are pressed, it has no audio information at all.

Audacity is a program that can only record audio.

Your two options are:

  1. To record with midi. That means use the usb plug, maybe download a driver. Use some software that will pickup the midi data connection and convert it to a piano sound. There are free standalone programs that will do this, googling brings up this https://sourceforge.net/projects/vmpk/ which will probably work but might sound pretty bad. You could try the pianoteq demo https://www.pianoteq.com/try which will sound very nice but the demo version is missing some keys in the outer octaves. Pianoteq is a standalone app (is also comes as a VST plugin for a DAW) and can record and export direct to wav. You could download synthesia for free and it will let you play the piano but I'm not sure how you'd go about recording it. You could try getting a DAW, Reaper http://www.reaper.fm/download.php is a very popular cheap one that comes with a 60 day trial. I haven't used it but I think it should come with some pianos built in and a whole range of other instruments you can drive with your keyboard. If it doesn't you'll have to search and install free piano VSTs. DAW's are a bit confusing at first but should be doable, you just need to create a piano instrument and select your midi keyboard as an input. You can then record from within the DAW and export it afterwards.

  2. Record the audio of your keyboard. Your piano only has a headphone output so that's what you'll have to use. You just need a cable that connects that to your input on your laptop. I don't think laptops come with line in ports normally, but it should have a mic input. You probably need a 1/4 inch -> 3.5mm adapter https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-107139-6-35mm-Stereo-Adaptor/dp/B005E2Y0KK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1468853169&sr=8-3&keywords=3.5mm+adapter because most piano headphone outputs are 1/4" for whatever reason. Then you just need a 3.5mm cable https://www.amazon.com/KabelDirekt-3-5mm-Stereo-Audio-Cable/dp/B00DI8A7UE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1468853243&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=3.5mm+stereo+cable&psc=1 to go from your mic input to your computer. Check in your sound recording devices on the computer to make sure the level is set and your getting a good signal. You can check the listen to this device box to see what it sounds like. Then all you need to do is boot up audacity and select microphone from recording devices in preferences. Hit record and export to mp3 when you're done. One issue here is you won't actually be able to hear the sound of you playing, the headphone port will mute your keyboard. Listening to the device through windows will probably be too laggy. You could try a 3.5mm splitter I guess so you can plug headphones in but I don't really know. You may also have an issue if your laptop is like mine and only has one audio port that combines mic and headphones. I'm not sure if you can use this without another adapter or something.

In short, recording can be a bit of a pain to setup. If you just want to listen to yourself or put a youtube video just taking a recording with your phone can suffice and is by far the easiest method.

Okay. Either the Xenyx 802 or the Q502USB will get what you need. You have the cable you need for mic to mixer already in your cart. For game audio and discord audio to the mixer, I'm guessing both are being output from head phone jacks, so you'll need a couple of in whatever length you need. And if you don't have headphones with a quarter inch plug on the end you'll need a 1/8 to 1/4 stereo adapter. Finally, for the Main mix out back to the PC, you'll either use another 3.5mm TRS to dual 1/4 inch TS cable going into the mic in on the sound blaster, or with the Q502USB, you can just go back digitally with a USB cable.
