Those specs are sub-par at best, and an absolute scam at worst. 8GB of RAM and 1TB of HDD for a $1700 machine?! There should be at least 16GB and an SSD for the OS at that price point.

In just 5 minutes I threw together an equivalent PC on Amazon for about half the price ($890: mobo, ram, gpu, cpu, hdd, display, mouse + keyboard, case.

Now how about you take a look at a PC with a similar price point? ($1680 : mobo, ram, gpu, cpu, ssd, hdd, same display, same mouse + keyboard, same case)

My rx 570 works very well. It’s the MSI RX570 MK2 OC 8GB. You can find it on amazon here for under $200

Welcome to the PCMR!

The 1050ti isn't a bad card. For $5 more you could have a more powerful card with more RAM.

It would make driver updates easier too - only 1 source, instead of 2.

There is still a deal on the RX 570 Mk2. Pretty close to the last deal, only $10 more.

Ended up borrowing a little extra cash from my sister and went with this one.

Thank you everybody. Y'all have been helpful on multiple things since starting my wmr journey.

After a long wait I'm finally ready to pick up my first graphics card and begin upgrading my first build ever, as you can imagine I'm very nervous. I've decided to buy the RX 570 8GB model, I'm pretty sure about that, but I have two options: The Asrock Phantom Gaming X or the MSI Armor MK2. Both are the 8GB OC model. In my country, I could save around 30 USD for buying the Asrock instead of the MSI, I guess the main difference is fan noise and cooling? Is it worth it to pay 30 USD extra for the MSI over the Asrock
