I've been looking to buy a new pair of headphones, and with all the different reviews and resources available, it's really difficult to know what to to get.

I'm considering these Steelseries 9h:

but I can't see much about them in the information on this subreddit. Is that because they aren't worth considering?

My headphone usage consists of:

  • Gaming (Not FPS stuff, but long wear sessions, comfort is important)

  • Conversing via Teamspeak, Skype, etc. (needs a mic)

  • Music (Rock, Melodic Metal, EDM.

  • Watching movies

    I know I prefer closed, over-ear headphones.

    My budget is approx $180 AUD (Australian Dollars) (Approx $160 US)

    Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'm a huge fan of Steelseries and I have the Steelseries 9H. I've owned both the Siberia v2 and 7H, and the 9H blows them both out of the water. Incredibly comfortable for long use as well.
