If you want the tactical look, pick up an Arisaka 300 series with a pressure switch. It's a Surefire scout light clone that's compatible with Surefire mounts and accessories and carries some improvements of the Surefire line.
Lasers are stupid. Buy a Streamlight TLR1 HL or if you really hate money a Surefire X300U.
