USPS flat rate boxes were made for this. You separate it out into 5 medium flat rate boxes, pack it, overtape it tight with filament tape, and insure it for the full value. We do have a drop off location here as well.
EDIT: Look. It's not my first day at the rodeo. Pretty sure i've shipped a package or two and have a little bit of experience in the matter.
Obviously it needs to be shipped registered mail. I was in a hurry when i typed my note and missed it. That said, i'm not totally off. It IS priority mail. But you also have to buy registered. That's the only way to insure it for the full value anyway and i did say that. Troll on.
