This is my current favorite bra brand. I won that one in a contest on here and up until that point I have never even heard of that brand but honestly theyre AMAZING. Ive pretty much tried every single brand in search of support, comfort, and nipple protection but bali is the winner.

Victoria secret is hit or miss for me. Some of their bras are so comfortable but others are sooo uncomfortable. Pretty much any store brand Ive tried hurt like hell. But like I said there are some comfortable ones. That being said I prefer the $20-25 bali ones (that are like heaven compared to the VS ones) to the $40+ VS ones.

as far as getting measured goes the people from VS have always made me feel comfortable but I have gotten 2 different measurements within a week and I really dont think I couldve changed cup sizes within that time. IIRC you can measure yourself although I dont remember how so youll have to google it.

Hope I helped!

I'm not going to be much help for most of your requests, but I have tried LOTS of sports bras over the years, and this one has been the best one ever. GREAT compression and I have wide roots and some (but not much) tissue migration as well and it fits nicely. Best of luck on finding what works for you! Hopefully others will have more ideas.

ETA - I should have mentioned I'm a 36GG so I have a LOT to compress and this bra does an amazing job of it. Wearing it under a button down took me down like a whole shirt size which never happened with my size in any other bra I've had.

u/stozzola · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

Seems like we are almost boob twins! Except my roots are pretty narrow rather than average, but also tall. My best unlined fit at the moment is Freya Ooh La La in 28D (cups run slightly big) and this Melissa Dessous 0037 in 60E (cups run slightly small) http://www.bratabase.com/browse/melissa-dessous/0037/ (the photos of 60E are not me, btw! But the bra in the photos is the one I own because I bought it off of this user haha. Just dont want to steal credit from her for adding the bra to bratabase which I am too lazy to do.) although I have to wear and extender with the Melissa Dessous because the band is freakishly small, it still fits like it was made for my tall roots and average projection and its so comfortable.

If you are looking for a foam lined bra at all, I recently purchased the Panache Cari spacer bra which has decent projection for a lined bra and is also great for accommodating my tall roots. The lined foam is a great alternative to a typical lined/moulded bra because its super smooth under tight clothes but still breathable, I can see through the foam if I hold i light behind it.

I really like the Charlotte, which is usually available on Amazon for around $30 ($27.40 right now with free returns, at least in the US). The Smoothing Seamless is another good one, and offers more lift and a more rounded shape than the Charlotte. I also have the Arianne and the Leona and like them both - they are both similar to the Charlotte in fit. Pretty much anything that comes up on Amazon as “Fantasie Underwire Side Support” is going to fit like these.

With all of that said, however, we may have very different breast shapes, so YMMV. I’d say the Charlotte is a good starting place if you want to see how Fantasie side support works for you.

Another option, if you can find it in your size (it’s been discontinued) is the Panache Sculptresse Pure. Super comfy and unlined, and gives amazing shape under even the clingiest clothes.

I don't have any experience with amab sizing, but it does look like Amazon has a decent selection of bras in 40B. I'm thinking in addition to bralettes and sports bras, wireless minimizer bras could also work? I found this one that is super cute and in your size:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1O42JS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_kQtUBbD7FVJ0H

You may want to play around a bit to find a bra that fits you well and is discreet. Amazon is a great resource in this regard
It might also be useful to consider wearing undershirts/tanks under your t-shirts, as well.

u/Goddess_Keira · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Again, you're most welcome! hopefully we can find something that works.

Panache Ardour is a molded foam bra that has more depth than most such styles, so it could be worth a try. Panache Cari is a spacer-foam molded bra. Spacer foam is more flexible than traditional foam type bras. Cleo Hettie and Curvy Kate Ellace are a couple of unlined styles you could try for starters.

I don't advise that you order all these bras at once unless you have Prime and can get them all with free shipping and returns. Even then, too many at once can be confusing. Try one or two styles to start with. It's a good idea to start with one bra in two sizes, so in this case I'd say try the recommended 32F and 32FF. I'd suggest one of the unlined to start even if it's not your favourite because if you want to do a fit check it's easier to see the fit issues (or you can do a fit check without photos and describe the fit really well). But of course the choice of what to start with is up to you. There are also lots of other online sellers you can purchase from if you prefer, sucxh as Bare Necessities, Figleaves US (or UK), Herroom, and Breakout Bras to name a few. Just make sure that you can do returns if it doesn't fit. Not all places do free returns.

If you have a Nordstrom near you, you can try there or order from them online, have things shipped to your home and return in store whatever you decide against.

Chantelle C Magnifique is the one I pretty much wear all the time now. It's the most comfortable and has fit me the best plus I like the minimization effect. I have also had some luck with the Chantelle Parisian Plunge

u/Esbjerg · 5 pointsr/ABraThatFits

$36 here! and $34 here!. The best way to do it that I have found is to search on Amazon by size. As in search for the keywords '44H bra' instead of a brand you know sells it. Best of luck!

u/GoBrandiRanger · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

I don't know, looking at the fit of it, the straps seem to go too far under the arm for me. I'd feel like I had a gun holster on without a lot of boobie support. I did find a different kind that seems up my alley to try out.

Ekouaer Women's 18 Hour Most Comfort Wirefree Bra with Cushioned Strap, 44H https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014CY3FU6/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_NATEwbPNEN9DB

My G/GG is in UK size, so I'm looking at an H/I US. Decided to try the smalled one and see if it fits, and if not, exchange it.

I appreciate you, though. Very awesome of you to offer :)

A "cheap" but supportive sports bra from Marshalls costs $20.

This link for sports bras on Amazon range $9-$30. They appear to be reasonably supportive.

This one looks like a very nice daily wear type and it ranges from $13 to $58.

Even if you find a great bra for something like $10 you still have to remember that it's underwear that "has" to be worn every day. So you either end up having a ton of them (which is expensive) or wearing the same ones frequently (which means replacing it often which is expensive.)

Compare to the price of a pair of underwear. This five pack of men's underwear ranges from $15-$39. That $3-$8.50.

*I'm not responding to any more of you. Appreciate the work I did to provide reasonable price numbers or fuck off. If you think it's not fair to compare to the price of a bra to men's underwear, I repeat: fuck off. If you wear only underwear then fuck off for trying to tell me how to explain the price of bras. :)

Well, Elan or Pure may be a perfect one for you. Or Definitions. Or Jasmin. Or one of relatively minimalistic bras by Wacoal or one of Triumph's. How about Glossies? Would Lifestyle be ok? =) Maybe Cassia(well, not quite solid, but seems to be in the same mood)? Do strappy details on Sachi or Bijou count as BS? Are mesh and geometric details on Rio considered a kind of ruffles? Are charm and buckle on Unleash too much? Or a pink trim and a tiny button on Smoothie Soul? Does leather Flaunt count as non-BS solid one? Are Imogen's or Lexi's buttons too much of a fuss for you? Does Multitasker still count as solid colour? Depending on your size range and shape, you might find something suitable by Fruit of the Loom, Vanity Fair, Curvation, Rosa Faia, Aviana, Chantelle and others(it seems that there's a fair amount of moulded bras in core+ sizes made as plain as possible, but way less unlined ones or those in full bust range)

u/dehue · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

You could use a paperclip, it would likely work better than a safety pin and safer since it's not likely to stab you in the back. Also something like Panache's cari moulded bra has a racer back clip so you can convert it to a racerback. I just got one in 28G and I really like it. It is a bit minimizing and kind of shallow though so I am not sure how well it would work for you.

u/foxlie · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

Spacer bras! I have the Panache Cari and I've also heard good things about the Fantasie Rebecca. They're not quite moulded cups, more like a thick, stiffer mesh that breathes well. Note that these are European sizes, so if you haven't already, head over to r/abrathatfits to find the right fit :)

u/truly_beyond_belief · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

You could try the Parfait Enora -- it's got good reviews, and people who've worn it say it lives up to its promise to take an inch off the bust size. :) All the reviews suggest going up in the cup, and some suggest going up in the band as well, so I'd order it in a 38G and a 40G. (It is made in UK cup sizes and it tops out at a G cup.)

Here's a link to it: https://www.amazon.com/PARFAIT-Womens-Minimizer-Enora-P5272/dp/B06VX2BX76?th=1&psc=1

In 38G, it's $49.93 on Amazon in beige/European Nude and $52 in Stormy Skies (cornflower blue). In 40G, it's $39 in beige/European Nude and $35.59 in Raspberry (deep pink).

(One tip: Because the Enora runs small, I'd avoid ordering it in black. Black dye shrinks fibers, so black bras can end up being a little tighter than the same bra in the same size but a different color. Go figure! Bras are weird!)

But you might find that you don't need a minimizer. A bra that fits contains all of your boobage in one place, with no overspill, and can narrow the profile from the front.

Also -- and this is just my own experience -- minimizers don't work for me. (I haven't tried the Enora.) When I wore a 34F and now that I wear a 36F, I've found that they squash my breasts and spread them out until they wind up almost in my armpits.

That said, I understand that they're helpful for women who want to draw less attention or fit into button-up office shirts.

u/hurrrrrmione · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

I'm not familiar with the shape of Mimi, but I would guess that it was too open on top for her. I wouldn't think that the cups were too tall since Pure Lace and La Femme both have taller cups than Mimi.

Wacoal does have several other bras that are available in 36H, and one unlined bra that goes up to 36I (Retro Chic), but I have the feeling that if La Femme is too shallow for her in 36H (and I agree with you that it is), then that size isn't going to work for her in any other Wacoal bra.

If she likes Pure Lace, Sculptresse does have a non-lace version.

u/dorothy_zbornakk · 38 pointsr/bigboobproblems

i don’t get to buy pretty bras often, so when i saw these on amazon i had to snatch them up. sizing may be a little ofd because they didn’t have any f cups in stock but they had my sister size. i am...a little bit beside myself about getting 3 gorgeous bras in my size for $40 though. and they don’t feel cheap or flimsy at all!

link for those interested.

u/t_maia · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

If it was just gaping a tiny bit and the bottom cup was close in shape, I would recommend you look at Parfait by Affinitas.

Sadly the CK Princess seems to be the cheapest option currently.

http://www.amazon.com/Curvy-Kate-Womens-Princess-Tigerlily/dp/B00FVW7KP0/

Maybe Freya Tropics?

http://www.amazon.com/Freya-Womens-Tropics-Underwire-Paradise/dp/B00IINKS9Y/

Only 18 USD.

Panache Clara would also be interesting.
http://www.amazon.com/Panache-Womens-Balconnet-Turkish-Delight/dp/B00JAPSTUE/

And while we very rarely see this brand here, I heard good things about Lilyette.

http://www.amazon.com/Lilyette-Enchantment-3-Section-Minimizer-Underwire/dp/B005GNOOZI/

But have you checked /r/randomactsofbras and /r/braswap? 38DD suitable for a projected shape should be something that is easy to get there. Many women who come here wearing 38DD end up switching to a larger cupsize. Their bras typically don't suit women with a shallow shape who genuinely need 38DD as their new size.

u/quaith · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Parfait Tamara. Padded half cup with decent center projection (so it should lift and shape) and little to no upper coverage along with a firm, tall band. I'd try the 38F and 38FF - it's a discontinued style, so it's extremely cheap. Here's the Bratabase gallery to give you a better idea of what kind of fit you'd get.

Edit: Maybe also the Sculptresse Molded Lace Bra in a 38F/38FF (also at Amazon)? It seems to have coverage similar to the Bali that fit you passably well, with a bit of extra space in the cup for your bottom fullness but with a taller/wider band for better side coverage.

u/MadtownMaven · 1 pointr/xxketo

You should still check it out. Measure yourself via the guidelines at /r/abrathatfits to find out what you should be. That bra I linked was just one that works for me, but tossing in 42F into the search bar and a bunch pop up that are under $20. Having good supportive bras make such a difference.

u/fattireflattire · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

I wonder if you would like the Panache Cari. /u/noys recently tried it and said the wings (the part that goes over the lats) were very high on this particular bra. It is also seamless.

It might be worth a try if you like the looks of it.

u/annoyingbranerd · 4 pointsr/ABraThatFits

I don't know. It could be genuine, but it is sold under a different "brand". It looks the same but does not have the "ShockAbsorber" writing. Ditto with the Panache Sport sold by the same company.

See this bra: https://www.amazon.com/Ekouaer-Coverage-Unlined-Minimizer-Underwire/dp/B01A0B5X5U/

And compare with this bra: https://www.amazon.com/Wacoal-Womens-Retro-Underwire-Black/dp/B002R9QK56/

They look similar, but are most definitely not the same.

This is what I have on: Lilyette by Bali Women's Plunge Into Comfort Keyhole Minimizer Bra, Pearl, 38DDD https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002LL2XLU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6UThzbWWGHE99

I like this cut best, some of the others show straps or bra cup depending on the cut of my top, but this has been great. Also wear it every damn day and no sign of wear
