(Part 3) Reddit mentions: The best office staplers & hole punches

They look like old telephone line round-top wire staples, like these. Not sure why they'd be stuck to clothing, though. These type staples are still used, but pretty infrequently now. They had their heyday back in the fifties through seventies.

Personally I prefer the Bostitch B8RC, I find the crown staples never bind or jam, and it's a little more compact and ergonomic IMO. My dad had one of these for several decades and it still worked like a charm, so I got one for myself when I moved out.

I have a badass stapler. You should get one like it if you don't already.

This is a Zenith 548 E which you can still buy. It is Made in Italy and has served my mum from her graduation (that's why we know how old it is). I started using it when I moved to high school, and still use it every day now. Amazing simple technology that just get the job done.

I wish I were as smart as you. I went to my local hardware store and picked up a Power Shot 5700M without reading reviews or doing research. I cannot tell you how much of a poor decision this was. I can't recommend a good one, but I can definitely tell you NOT to get the one I have.

I work as a law clerk in a less than paperless environment, and this version is AMAZING. There's some plastic bits on it, but the functional parts are all metal. It is heavy and staples thick reports with minimal effort. It staples "flat," too. It is sad how happy this stapler makes me each time I use it.

I've been having some issues with hand pains lately and I think some of it is related to the three letter stapler use. I got the OK from my FSM to pick up a couple of nicer staplers for me and my partner to use. This electric one for most simple bags:

I've only put around 15-20 sheets max through the electric one but it's had zero issues so far. The Bostitch uses standard staples and has not jammed or mis-fired a staple yet, I've done as many as 30 sheets with no problems whatsoever. Really happy with both of these.

I'm assuming you look for kids Staples I had a mini stapler as a child that took little staples and they were marketed as kids.

I just finished my hardwood floors (675sqft), I used this tool. It was only $12 and it made the job super easy because that's exactly what it was designed for. There are a million things about the project I would have done differently but buying that baby is the one thing I'd do again every time.

I bought a stable removal kit at the drug store, like specially designed pliers.

He was fine, didn't barely even flinch. The only time I would bother getting a doctor to remove sutures, staples, even a cast, is if there was persistent redness or other signs of infection.

Definitely get one of these staplers with these staples. You'll be able to staple through a 2x4.
