Definitely from the after-care he recommended you use. I have sensitive skin too and have had reactions to certain ointments. The most recent one I've used is After Inked. Recommended to me from my last artist and by far the best tattoo after care ointment I've used.

>This isn't something you'd want some amateur attempting as it is definitely something that needs professional guidance to do well and most importantly CLEANLY AND SAFELY.

MILLIONS of people stick needles in their arms EVERY SINGLE DAY.. whether it be for insulin or heroin.

nobody receives special training to use an epipen. stick in leg it about all there is to it.

you could probably learn from a hospital because they need to teach caregivers so nurses don't have to come over every day to inject meds.

it doesn't sound like they're really concerned about getting it wrong.. take some notes.. maybe.. if you forget.

>To give an insulin injection, you need to fill the right syringe with the right amount of medicine, decide where to give the injection, and know how to give the injection.

>Your health care provider or a certified diabetes educator (CDE) will teach you all of these steps, watch you practice, and answer your questions. You may take notes to remember the details. Use the information below as a reminder.

Congrats on the job! I usually wear these sleeve thingies and it's way more comfortable than wearing a shirt under your scrubs since it won't be double layers. I've also found that long sleeve shirts meant for working out are more comfortable material and don't get as hot as like a regular cotton long sleeve shirt.

I've just used one at a time. Grapeseed oil was all I used on most recent rib cage tattoo. Shea butter can be good for particularly dry spots. I'm sure there are blends available on Amazon.com. I searched "tattoo natural aftercare" on amazon, and there are quite a few options. I'd just get whatever has the fewest number of ingredients and I tend to avoid unnecessary essential oils. https://www.amazon.com/Redemption-Tattoo-Care-25-ounce/dp/B00I13N56E/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1498429571&sr=8-1&keywords=redemption%2Btattoo%2Baftercare&th=1 This product I've heard of. But honestly, I think some good quality grapeseed oil will do the trick.

If you're old enough, you can buy the tattoo cover thingies from amazon. They come in skin tone and plenty of people won't even notice that you're wearing them.

Tat2X Ink Armor Premium Full Arm Tattoo Cover Up Sleeve - No Slip Gripper - U.S. Made - Light - XL2X https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0046MQWV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_xxoS6kTuxsnqX

These are my favorite. Fit like a dream, very comfortable. VERY breathable. Not very noticeable. Kiiiinda pricy, they're sold by the single unit.

u/whiskeybonfire · 2 pointsr/NoStupidQuestions

Did your artist give you any aftercare instructions? You need to be using something like Tattoo Goo or similar, to give your skin the best chance of healing quickly, and to preserve the clarity and color of the piece.

I've got a couple of these tattoo ink stands in my mixing room and they work great and can fit larger bottles easily. edit I also have the larger one here and it's on sale right now.

Dont wash your self with antibiotic soap. If using anche cream only apply in small amounts to the pimple; dont spread.

Keeping a healthy flora will greatly help. This stuff is fairly resistant to normal soap washing, but not to abx soap. Don't over wash, 1x per day and rinsing after exercise.

Wash your bag, and towels often. Change pillow sheet often.

Over washing, using a lot of products, and antibiotics will work but it creates a cycle. They get rid of the anche but once you stop, you are more susceptible to anche via dry skin, no healthy flora, damaged outer layer of skin, and inflammation. The flora on your body is actually very good at competing with anche. Not touching pimples is a good thing, if they get big dont pop them instead use a lance or sterile needle (you can get these from pharmacies or amazon ) to make the smallest of incisions for drainage then wash with warm soapy water and don't cover.

Like others have said, I have never seen scrubs with long sleeves. I'd recommend some kind of "tattoo sleeve" like this.

Edit: I have not worn something like this before. If you are having a hard time finding pull-on sleeves marketed as tattoo-concealing, some sites that sell uv-protective clothing also sell sleeves. Might be extra good since you're outside.

Thank you all for the suggestions! Been awhile since I checked this, I actually didn’t expect so many responses (: I will keep all of those in mind for the future. I actually hopped on amazon and found a small business
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FOXOV9O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_RIZkDbH35ZD87
I purchased this product and it works pretty good! Not certified CF but they’re a smaller business so I cut them some slack.

u/TheSheDM · 3 pointsr/minipainting

I'm guessing by your name you're in canada, I found the same airbrush I bought on amazon

The compressor is tankless, fairly quiet (its about as noisy as aquarium air pump) and the airbrush is gravity fed dual action. Its a good starter brush. Be sure to get a set of these sort of cleaning brushes because cleaning the airbrush after every use is important. You don't need fancy cleaner though, this model will do fine with some window cleaner and distilled water.

A practice skin, here's a link to the one I bought. Thanks for the positive feedback!

Hey you might want to look into buying surgical needles online. So sharp they go through thick skin like butter, they're hollow to allow for drainage, and usually bigger around than a sewing needle so the resulting hole is bigger.

Something like this maybe http://smile.amazon.com/100-Body-Piercing-Needle-Sizes/dp/B00JJ1HNT2

Increase distance between herb and heater....with an o ring on heater, you can create a stop for glass stems. Similarly you can push basket screen further down stem to increase distance....you can also reduce time stem is in contact with heater....or, like guy says, get a variable power supply

That's true. I have pretty sensitive skin and I can wear sunscreen after 3 weeks. My skin's at that onionskin phase of shininess but it's definitely healed. Nothing special about tattoo specific sunscreen I'm talking about this kind of thing.

I'd try tattoo grip wrap, like this: https://www.amazon.com/Tattoo-Grip-Cover-Disposable-Accessories/dp/B07DPC3P6K/

Comes in other fun colors too

what else would you use?

and I used this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FCZ1RRJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1

Any suggested saline solutions and for how long do i use it for?
