Tell your bud to drop those shit LED headlights. That style has a horrible beam pattern, and very little distance. It's basically a flood light that blinds everyone. They're only useful on farm equipment and loaders.

Believe it or not, I have another set on the way.
These have too much of a "blue" color to them. At night in the rain, I can't see well at all. It's so bad I'm actually afraid to drive it. If I pass another car on the road I lose sight of the road before me, as their lights completely over shadow mine.

They're knock off Truck-lites, but they're DOT approved and actually have a good cut-off. They won't blind on-coming traffic like the ones I currently have (they just scatter light all over the road.)
