If you're willing to pay another $19 on Amazon you can order the rear light made by knog, I have the set of both front and back lights and love them. The center part of the light is hollowed out so you can stick it on the little strap on the back of your saddle bag. I'll post an imgur link to how I do it on my bag.

Edit: Yes I think it's visible I'm more worried about the light getting knocked off with you realizing than anything else
