Goddamn, that is a long time to wait for jam :/ I'm not certain if I can carry a few bottles of the stuff with me, but I'll be flying to the US later this month and if I can actually bring it with me, I'll be happy to mail it to you locally. Might actually work out cheaper for you on that front as well.

There's loads of cool Indian snacks you should try out if you can - be warned that some of them are a little hot, so if you have a low spice tolerance, you're gonna be on fire.

• Lay's Magic Masala (If you're wondering why this is so expensive, it's because it's a flavour pretty much exclusive to India. A lot of homesick Indian students typically ask for this because it's awesome and reminds them of home.)
  
  
• Chakklis Now these are awesome - a little tough on the teeth, but so fucking good with tea.
  
  
• Bakarwadis Don't be fooled by the initial sweet taste, it's got a bit of fire in it as well. Another really fun thing to eat.
  
  
• Bhujia In time, you'll come to acknowledge this as "India's super awesome sprinkles" because that's what it is - sprinkle this on any dish to get a bit more zing to it. I personally enjoy it with Homemade chili for the extra crunchiness.
  
  If you were hoping to lose weight this year, you can kiss that goodbye, because if you like the taste of these, they become an addiction. No one is safe.
