Flow chart of troubleshooting no start condition -

  1. You have a CEL. Grab one of these Bluetooth Code Readers, Make sure its an ELM327 V1.5 (2.0 has weird glitches), and get the Torque app. You'll thank me later. (Or just go to O'reillys and get the code read and start there)

  2. While you're at O'reillys, have them load test your battery.

It is unlikely to be the Crank or Cam sensors because those produce a "Crank-No-Start" condition, not a "No-Crank-No-Start" condition, but it is still possible :o. Hard to say for sure without knowing the code.. If it does it again before you can make it to have your code read, try starting it in 1st or 6th gear (Assuming a manual) and if it starts, probably a crank sensor or FWP sensor.

As others have said, Rapid clicking is generally indicative of a bad battery, while a single click could mean a starter motor that is going bad, or a relay is going out.

Also, a really weird side-note. Check your BCM fuse (15 amp IIRC), I have had those cause really weird issues with starting and other electronics in the car when they blow.

Wow, just tried to find places in BC that scan cars, I guess they don't do it for free..
FYI look for a cheap Bluetooth OBD2 adapter on Amazon, and there are apps that can read the codes. Then in the future, you can either google the code or ask here...
It's worth having, especially since your dealership wouldn't even read it same day.

EDIT: something like this, should be fine for getting codes.
