It'll be more than enough for that. Might as well snag it.
The other option is that rx580 just posted here as well, useful if you have a freesync monitor (assuming you don't have gsync).

Both perform similarly.

Finding a <$300 RX 580 8GB on Amazon isn't all that hard?
Yes. The ASUS was going for $200. Changed this morning to $219. Gigabyte is $210.
Check Newegg or Amazon. They’ve been posting them at this range for the last 2 weeks.

The issue you'll instantly find is the GPU is rather under powered. So USD300 is pretty steep. You'd need at least a RX580 to get decent 1080p gaming. That adds another USD200 to your cost. Where are you located and why is this the only PC you can get right now?

I would honestly just pay the 50 bucks more for a 580. You know if your getting a 570 your gonna have it for years.
MSI RX 580 $209.99
1 would be perfectly fine, but 2 of them would be fantastic for what you spend on the titles which you can force crossfire to behave. (Most, but not all.) I trust MSI, personally, and their coolers tend to be solid. (I wouldn't buy EVGA, Sapphire, or recommend any "reference" board at all, ever.)
There's also a bunch of other stuff, like returned RX 580's going for ~138 with the 20% off warehouse deals

Isn't the MSI 280 8G $189 on Amazon anyway?

$193, not too bad!

thanks
This for $235.90 (pm with memory express) or the 580 8gb for $299? That 580 has a crappy fan and cooling is already an issue with this 1080p only system and both might possibly be limited by it's intel E8500.
https://www.amazon.ca/RX-580-ARMOR-8G-OC/dp/B06XZQMMHJ
It's CA$300, which is about US$227, while the MSRP is at $230
https://www.amazon.ca/RX-580-ARMOR-8G-OC/dp/B06XZQMMHJ that's for the 580. The 1030 just isn't worth it with a budget of 400 $
It was https://www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/B06XZQMMHJ/?tag=ploggyapp-20&time=1521422098
I have about 15 trackers going. I used to have more but I decided to wipe all Nvidia cards as I don't really want any for mining.
Will you only be buying from Amazon Canada? I'd get this instead.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/B06XZQMMHJ/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
I think I'll be going with your advice then. I've been hunting around for a decently priced 580 but I can't seem to understand why some are so much more expensive than others that seemingly have the same specs.
What is your opinion on https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XZQMMHJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 ? Does it look solid for the price?
Edit: Wrong link
so i was going to buy this card here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XZQMMHJ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
But do you suggest i scratch that and go with the one you sent me? also another quick question sorry to bombard you with them but is there a difference between the card i just posted and this one? the second card is cheaper just red?

This had probably been asked a million times, but what are safe oc settings for my rx 580 8gb ([specicifically this one] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XZQMMHJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)) I can use for a couple of days continuously, and ones that would be safe for just a night? I would also appreciate fan speed. Am using msi afterburner. Thanks.
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B06XZQMMHJ/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Why don't you go with the Asus Amazon choice? It's just under 300 and has great reviews. The only slight problem people have with it is that the fans aren't the best, but does your wife use it for things that would require hardcore cooling?
So what's that promotion going on? I bought this recently.
Do I have to do something, or will amazon email me something to get some codes for the games in the next couple days?
wtf 31.3-31.8 mh/s? What 8gbs? Can I hit that hashrate with that wattage on these?
So went to start adding stuff to my cart and on Amazon they had a bundle with the processor, MB and GPU. I think the GPU might be a bit over kill though.

i guess i'll follow your suggestion then.
One last question:
What vendor is better for my GPU? MSI or ASUS?
I'm talking specifically about these 2:
ASUS
https://www.amazon.it/ASUS-DUAL-RX580-O8G-Radeon-580-GDDR5/dp/B0716KMWQY
MSI
www.amazon.it/MSI-RX-580-ARMOR-8G/dp/B06XZQMMHJ/
Thanks
I was checking out the MSI 580 Armor OC 8gb but was notified by someone on Reddit that it had sub-par cooling. I was referred by articles and multiple Reddit threads to the Sapphire 580 PULSE OC 8gb and the XFX 580 GTS XXX OC 8gb. To be honest I am kinda overwhelmed by the options and all that people say about each one.

PS: The amazon links are just to specific models and not best price!
Lmao also not in the US so doing the same but from what I gather you can get an RX 580 (slightly outperforms 1060 6gb form what i've seen) for around $200 Here. Not sure how this pans out in the Canadian market. And I understand your perspective for $300 being low end but for those who wish to start out at PC with more of a budget I think labelling these cards as low end is fairly misleading. ( In my opinion low end is more 1050, RX470) for a 1060/RX580 would be more midrange. Also ty for the link.

Nobody except miners use PCIe risers.
And he's left it attached in the picture, which pretty much confirms that its a mining card.
Nowhere on earth is that worth $400 cad, especially considering you can pick up 8gb rx 580's for $299 new:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06XZQMMHJ/?tag=pcp0f-20
On the GPU subject, is this a good card as a better option than the rx560 I have listed?
Edit: I just checked amazon.com and the card is listed at 620$, so I suppose this is a good deal.
OK it looks like you have enough room for a decent video card.
You have an Allied SL-8360BTX 350W power supply, so you need something better because it doesn't have the required PCI-e power cable nor the proper wattage.
A decent power supply.
An HD monitor could be 720P or 1080P in size. Either size monitor would be well served with a RX 570 or if you have a bit more money and higher expectations an RX 580.
You could go with a GTX 1050, and you wouldn't have to buy a power supply but it wouldn't be as fluid in games as the RX 570 or the RX 580.
Can I use this graphics card in my computer?
Oh! Alright thanks for the tip! Is this good? Saw it in a speed build, would this be good?
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RX-580-8G-OC/dp/B06XZQMMHJ
Is this rx 580 good enough for a 1440p 144Hz IPS Freesync monitor? I know it depends on the game, so say is it good enough for League of Legends vs Witcher 3 vs the new CoD
https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RX-580-8G-OC/dp/B06XZQMMHJ
Dumb question. I can see that one has more words than the other, but is there much of an actual different between these two very similar cards?

Had Amazon points to use. Been waiting on a 580 within my price range.
Going to take advantage of this promotion and the mail in rebate.
Thanks OP!
I'd spend a tad bit more on and get a 580 (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06XZQMMHJ/?tag=pcp0f-20&th=1)
It's significantly more powerfull (http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-RX-580-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1050-Ti/3923vs3649)
Thank you very much! I was wondering, should I have bought the MSI RX 580 Armor 8G OC instead of the GTX 1060 6GB SSC considering it's $50 chaper at $299.97 on Amazon? https://www.amazon.ca/MSI-RX-580-8G-OC/dp/B06XZQMMHJ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1539124204&sr=8-1&keywords=rx+580
I keep reading conflicting things about the two but I don't have a Freesync monitor either. Would the extra VRAM really help in the future?
Not exactly, try https://www.amazon.ca/MSI-RX-580-8G-OC/dp/B06XZQMMHJ
Can you get an extended warranty on it? I have trouble trusting used products but this is a pretty good deal, a new Strix 580 is going for like $370. If you don’t mind going with another brand, here are some cheaper 580s with similar specs:
Aorus Card
MSI Card
Red Devil Card
I can understand why you’d want the Strix though. Beautiful card. It’s really up to you, just be careful. If you can somehow get more warranty on the Strix I’d say it’s a pretty good deal.
I removed the windows license,
I just want to make sure i have all the right parts on amazon. Are these correct?

Holy crap you're right! I just looked at the price of my card that I bought on Feb 9 for $189 (Link) and the friggin' thing is $265 now!? WTF?
Although, this card is a new 8GB RX 580 @ $239, so it could just be lower supply = higher price I guess.
If you're looking at that 1060, its showing about 330 after MIR,
This 8gb 580 is 317 with free shipping from amazon:

Seems awfully disingenuous to say my recommendation is double the price.
I welcome you to link a non-refurb/open box that is around $115, though.
Alright so I found a RX 580 for 375USD that will restock on the 18th I suggest waiting until until then and buy that right away. That will fit your needs well. I have a 480 8gb that can run any game well.
Here’s the link to the card:

the card alone that comes with this package
My current parts are listed in the post, the PCPartPicker breakdown. Currently I'm torn between the RX 580 ARMOR 8G OC and the RX 580 GAMING X 8G.
this is more expensive but churns out frames very well for its price point, but may be a bit much for your needs. this is a great value option if you want 60+ fps and good textures. This is a bit more expensive, but if you have any future interest in 3D rendering than this is your card, will perform a bit better than the 1050 ti.
