You might try a (relatively cheap) nylon hammock. They can be incredibly strong and pretty waterproof. You just need somewhere to hang it (or even just raise the ends.

Something like this.

You could also use warm water (not hot enough to cook the flour or thicken the cornstarch though!!!) And wrap the whole thing in an electric blanket to keep it warm.
