I WANT TO CHECK THEM ALL OUT!! My darling is sleeping beside me. And took the earbuds. I will definitely give them a listen soon!

My favorite music truly depends on my mood and what I'm doing. I love jazz, but the cool kind, the mellow, and the hot kind, rich with sax. Not Dixieland, bleh. Fun to dance to, but I can only take so much. When I'm writing, sometimes I like classical - the robust, epic composers like Beethoven and Wagner. I don't care for the pastoral ones like Bach. The operas that I've seen, I have certainly enjoyed. When I need to be physically motivated or pumped up, the best 70's and 80's hits get me going (great for cleaning house). Katy Perry's "Roar" is similarly effective (don't judge! Also, Ke$ha's "Timber" - who'd have thought a country/hip hop crossover could even be a thing, much less that I would like it in a million years). Usually, when I hear music, I never find out who did it or what it's called. I just like it or don't. I usually do.

Green is so beautiful! Clear, pure emerald especially. I found this gorgeous swimsuit yesterday.

Lol, people used to call me "too pensive," and my mom always accused me of having an "over-active imagination." Now, I think of these traits in a positive light. I'd hate to go through life unthinkingly, just being swept here and there by circumstance and other people's desires. Lack of imagination would be death to all of the activities I love the most.

And no, just because you're the most bothered by a mess doesn't mean you should always be the one cleaning it up. Unless, of course, there is reciprocation. Like, "I agree to always keep the kitchen and living room clean if you always keep my favorite items in the fridge/cook that thing I love/take all the laundry to the laundromat every week (whatever suits everyone involved)." I have known people to seek out "neat freaks" as roomies for that quality alone, and sometimes give them a break in rent, especially if they also cook.

Dry bag (simple roll bag) and dry phone bag.

Surf racks for your car.

Inflatable life jacket belt. These are the bomb! https://www.nrs.com/product/40037.01/nrs-zephyr-inflatable-pfd

Pretty much anything from NRS - https://www.nrs.com/category/2550/sup/

Good paddle clothes. For days you don’t plan on getting wet, get lightweight shirts (short or long sleeve). This one from Speedo is great - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005QXF4FM

For days you might get wet, neoprene shorts (for under your swimsuit), neoprene jacket, etc. A little bit of lightweight neoprene adds a lot of potential warmth in the water and makes your more confident. Check out NRS Hydroskin.

Good hat.

Polarized sunglasses with a cord.

I just got a friend into swimming; he had almost the exact same question.

I would go with a Speedo Endurance+ Jammer

and Air Seal XR goggles.

The Jammer will last much longer than comparable suits (the fabric resists chlorine better), and non-swimmers I know almost universally find the Air Seals more comfortable/better fitting than others. I'd even agree with them, they're great practice goggles. Lots of surface area on the seals means better chance to have a good fit, and less raccoon marks all around.

Good luck with the mile!

Maybe she just doesn’t want to see your thighs. I agree that board shorts and speedos aren’t that different in terms of covering contours, but they do go lower and cover thighs. That extra length can offer a lot more comfort in knowing for sure nothing will peek out. Plus other won’t have to be blinded by your possibly very untanned thighs.

My bf wears something like these when he swims.

They’re like the same material as speedos, but they do a better job keeping his dick in place and are more supportive in his opinion. They also stay snug to your skin a way that doesn’t need adjustment kind of like yoga pants. So they’re super comfy and work well in heat. I actually ended up getting a similar style for women’s

Yeah, The one time I had a bf buy me clothing, it was super comfy leggings and shirts that were my style and he asked his friend of a similar height who had similar tastes to go with him to test sizes. I can honestly say tha it was the absolute best birthday gift I ever got from a boy. It showed how much he knw about my style and comfort level.

I think an important thing to do might be to dress like a woman "your size". I'm not saying big girls can't rock yoga pants and crop tops, or anything like that -- but it takes a certain style to pull it off nicely.

Some people don't care how they look and do it anyway -- more power to 'em, I'm kinda jealous really. But for me, and probably you? Keep things a little looser; avoid horizontal stripes; wear a dark belt higher up to give the impression of a smaller waist; look for "slimming" patterns -- I think this swim suit is a good example.

Look at catalogs like Torrid, see how they dress, dress like that. Start conservative (in the sense of covering more), and work your way up.

It'll take a lot of work, you'll spend a lot of money on clothes... but -- for me at least -- it's so worth it. Also, thrift stores are your friend while you're trying to find "your" look.

u/CaliforniaNavyDude · 4 pointsr/bigdickproblems

Well, here's mine. They were inexpensive, nice fabric, supportive, and very comfortable. They are here on Amazon if you think those look like what you may like. A friend recommended them to me, and I quite like them.

  • SwimOutlet is really great, try searching by your favorite color, I'm sure you'll find one you love.

  • If money is no object, International Jock has a great selection.

  • Cheap Undies is also worth checking out for good deals.

  • Amazon has a lot of options. Safe brands would be Speedo, Nike, Addias, Diesel, 2xist, TYR, Cleaver, Tor, Candyman, and of course anything that sounds or looks familiar.

Bathing suit emergency! I've been looking for a bathing suit but everything feels off. I'm 5'10", hourglass body with a shorter torso and big cheated (34D). I've found that athletic bikinis like: http://www.amazon.com/TYR-Womens-Diamondback-Workout-Bikini/dp/B003GAMBPS
Are very flattering on me but are obviously for working out.
I've tried on: https://www.ae.com/aerie-cutout-one-piece-swimsuit-true-black/aerie/s-prod/0751_8967_073. But my breasts were too big for it.
Also I like this style: https://www.ae.com/women-aerie-scoop-bikini-top-cobalt-night/aerie/s-prod/0753_8972_494?cm=sUS-cUSD&catId=cat6890009. But the matching bottoms came up too high and shortened my torso.
If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Or if you got a new bathing suit to show off, I'd love to see it!!

u/Murbella_Jones · 1 pointr/MtF

they make workout bikini tops, basically sports bras that don't stretch out or disentegrate in chlorine which essentially binds everything up a bit (i don't currently need all that much). Thinking this or this one currently. I've always had an infatuation for competition suits as I've been on swim teams and life-guarded throughout my younger life before figuring out the trans stuff, and I love the sporty look to them.

And rashguard is basically a swim shirt generally popular with surfers so it's almost a socially acceptable way to wear a shirt in the water without having any obvious reason to feel self conscious. They come both tight and loose, though at some point in the future I'd much rather feel more comfortable in this ;-p

u/Zafiro-Anejo · 1 pointr/guns

trying is a lot of compromising. Small size and low weight versus high capacity/bigger size/heavier gun.

In the end it's what you're comfortable with, and what you have confidence using. Most importantly it is about what you will actually carry. I know two people who carry, concealed, Beretta 92fs;s? 92FSss, M9s. I could not do it but for them the hundred holsters they tried and their solution is ideal.

AS for dropping 3,000 gun for a 300 gun when you leave you have to remember that people spend a lot of money for marginal improvements when it comes to sporting events. My kid swims and there are 30 dollar jammers and 400 dollar jammers.

If you're swimming to not drown, the difference between the swimsuits isn't really a thing. When you're racing, trying to set a record, competing, the extra dough is worth it because while the speed boost is of no real world value in competition the millisecond or two it might shave off is everything.

I am in love with these bathers and I really want to wear and look good in them. If I keep going as I am then I'll reach a healthy weight just before next summer (southern hemisphere), and these will be my reward!

Panache Sport has an underwired swimsuit, so does Freya Active. Panache Sport Top has been used as a tankini successfully. Freya Sport also has a tankini.

EDIT: And I strongly recommend doublechecking your size using our beginner's guide. Getting the size right for sport bras (and you do need a sport bra with swim functionality) is paramount for support, even more so than with regular bras.

u/banana_konspiritor · 1 pointr/Swimming

The speedo jammers do tend to be a bit thin - I feel they are more sleek even for a non-tech suit. Not sure why yours are becoming loose? Are you wringing them out during the wash? I recommend just gently squeezing out the water then rolling them into a dry towel to get more water off before laying flat to dry. A bit anal yes, but it keeps my swimwear in good shape.

If you want something thicker and more stretchy, look at TYR. I have had good experience with this particular model:

https://www.amazon.com/TYR-Solid-Durafast-Jammer-Black/dp/B001M9KYL8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1519832601&sr=8-4&keywords=Tyr+jammer

My most recent pair lasted about a year of training 6 days a week. Just replaced it with the same model.

All inclusive vacation in Cancun, Mexico. One of those nice resorts where you just relax and drink. Bring a nice new bathing suit so you can enjoy the pool!

I would bring /u/buster_boo and /u/whowasmygrandpa because we need to get out.

u/patrick95350 · 101 pointsr/AmItheAsshole

NTA. Still, you should invite him over, apologize for not wearing the dress, and say you want to go out for a night on the town. And to show how much you love your gift, give him this to wear himself:

Thanks for writing so fast! I'm still not sure if I should get square legs or jammers... I found some endurance+ on amazon:

here are the square legs:

https://www.amazon.com/Speedo-Endurance-Polyester-Square-Swimsuit/dp/B000YZEJ2G/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=speedo%2Bsquare%2Bleg&qid=1551067719&s=gateway&sr=8-2&th=1&psc=1

here are the jammers:

https://www.amazon.com/Speedo-Endurance-Polyester-Jammer-Swimsuit/dp/B000YZPLZ0/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=speedo%2Bjammers&qid=1551068156&s=gateway&sr=8-5&th=1&psc=1

How do those look? I am a very skinny person, and so I am wondering if I might want the Jammers for extra warmth.

With the endurance+, are they still fast? I don't need super sonic fast, but I don't want to be bogged down either. Do you have endurance+?

u/disgruntleddovakiin · 1 pointr/Swimming

I have been a competitive swimmer for roughly 9 years and the highest recommendation I can give is a Speedo Endurance Plus jammer. They last about a year swimming 1-3 times a day 6 days a week. They usually only go out because the drawstring breaks or the suit comes apart at the seams. They have similar waist sizes to jeans and regular trousers.
