Hi! I have just launch a product on amazon, many of my customers have found it a great father's day gift. affordable one. Take a look, hope you will find it a good Gift Idea

Interesting. Not sure I'll ever use it unless I modify it to hold electrical tape which is the plan. Not sure how that will be accomplished but I'll get there. I'm thinking something like this. somehow attached to that hole. Or maybe I'll even put a small hole in the bottom of it and attached the electrical tape thong through there.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I work in florida, so i didn't think about leather being bad in the cold. I would recommend the Klein PowerLine padded tool belt if a leather belt would not suit your needs. Really any 2" wide belt works for most pouches, 2.5" may work but you will run into some pouches not fitting. The good thing about the powerline belt is that you can change the belt and still use the padding if the belt gets worn. I dont use a specific belt, just a cheap 2" wide leather belt that is fairly stiff, the belt liner i wear is more important to me than the belt itself.

Another option would be greenlee, they have a Padded Belt + Pouch combo that is nylon and may be what you are looking for. I have not personally used it, but greenlee usually makes good products. I would check amazon if you can't find what you are looking for, even just for ideas they have a large selection.

Firm believer in the quality of Occidental stuff. Occidental bag on a ranger belt held up with stronghold light because I don't have an ass. Good rig.

I've been using this one from Bucket Boss the past 6mo or so in conjunction with a CLC tool pouch.

I like it. It's thick nylon, which holds up fairly well. It's a lot cheaper than Milwaukee's, but practically every non-tool thing Milwaukee makes is obscenely overpriced so that's not surprising. The BB one holds fittings, etc, well for fast-paced work.

I have one of those magnetic trays that hold everything...along with that telescopic magnetic stick just in case I drop a piece.

Best thing ever when working under cars.

I just got [this one] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C53S965/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ZHt3Db58JNX5W) a couple months back, so far I'm liking it.

I used these for years. Fairly inexpensive and good quality. I do allot of work in the rain so I try to stay away from leather bags.

When I go out for a serious hunt, I wear a small tool belt. Something like this.

u/ImaginaryCheetah · 2 pointsr/electricians

regular will work. the clip attachment is separate from the pouch.

you can buy extras too, https://www.amazon.com/ToughBuilt-TB-CT-150-3pc-ClipTech-Hubs-Toolbelts/dp/B0140V9C3K/

I work for a contractor 90% of the time. While I might go to the extreme, most serious carpenters carry around a few thousand dollars in tools. Same with pretty much anyone in the trades.

Just as an example, an Oxylight toolbelt with suspenders will set you back almost 500 bucks alone.

Also stated above, like 3 times, that is not the case with the listings I found that on. These are items that I've been selling for months and that showed up yesterday.

One example (not my listing but it shows up):
https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00AI1XI00/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all

Item does not require ground shipping.

Do yourself a favor and get one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Performance-Tool-W1265-Large-Magnetic/dp/B000N3235E
I pitch screws at it and they don't rebound out.

My friends and coworkers know me as the guy who researches the hell out of anything before making any significant purchase.
As a 43-year-old carpenter who had had one other tool belt since 2006, a padded hip belt AWP, my next purchase was important. I knew I needed a full harness setup, so that narrowed things down for me. I’ve seen some guys advocating the Occidental rig, but another carpenter in his fifties that I work closely with had just purchased one a couple of months prior, and complained about how heavy it was, and how hot it got under all that leather. He ended up buying a light-duty hip belt for the Summer.
This was my choice, and I couldn’t be more satisfied all around:

I’ve got pencils and that very same tape measure.

Looking at this hammer: Stanley STHT51246 20-Ounce Steel Hammer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B5A1VVG/

And this speed square (figure the combination square may come in handy later, only a couple dollars extra): Swanson Tool S0101CB Speed Square Layout Tool with Blue Book and Combination Square Value Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SOVRPXW/

And tool belt:
Bucket Boss 50200 Builders Rig https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GK4TZ2E/

And cats paw: Estwing Nail Puller - 12" Double-Ended Pry Bar with Straight & Wedge Claw End - DEP12 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0015YPJMY/

See any problem with these for starting off?
