It's called Jesus' Son. It is really...interesting to say the least, and I can guarantee not at all what you'd expect! (Unless you're expecting drugs, and the main character to be called Fuckhead!)

My username is a big hint to what this movie is! It's just so happy, and makes me laugh every time I watch it (and I've been watching it multiple times every year since it came out, and I was only 5!). It's just a genuinely happy, feel-good movie, with great music :)

It might not be the norm, but it's a gift card. Reason being instead of something specific, is with a gift card I can buy food through Amazon. Times have been a little tough around here, and we barely make it through the month money, and food wise. To know I had a little money to spend on groceries somewhere would be a major relief, and put both my boyfriend and I out of stress. I know it's not a "goal goal", but our happiness is a goal of mine, and it's been a little shakey as of late :/(WL)

A nice, damn vacuum. Our current one sucks (bad pun), and I am really picky about a clean carpet. It would just be really nice to have a nice one, and that'll last instead of having to buy a new one every so often. (WL)

Because I...I'm...I'm a woman possessed. Normally I'm obsessed with Sherlock but since it's not out yet, I'm catching up on Doctor Who, and I can't. Just can't stop. Been talking in a British accent on accident for days! I also freaking love hoodies so it's the best of both worlds. (WL)

fear cuts deeper than swords

Frye Ivy Hiker (sneakers). I bought these because someone on FFA recommended the Frye Ivys! These were exactly what I was looking for, which was good quality white sneakers that are plain, but not completely plain, and aren't the usual styles that you see everywhere (Converse high tops, Stan Smiths, etc). They just came in today, and I love them! They seem perfect but I haven't worn em outside yet.

Black blanket scarf from amazon that I bought because I was asking about gift recommendations for a friend, and someone on here said a blanket scarf is good for people who work in offices that get cold. I loved that idea so much I bought one for myself! I'm a grad student and the building I work in is freezing over the summer, and this is such a cozy solution!

These Croc sandals (also amazon) that had really good reviews. I haven't worn em outside yet either, but I tried them on in my apartment and they're really comfortable so far.

One more amazon thing, a drink tumbler with a straw to sip iced coffee from! I've used it a few times now and I love it, keeps my drinks nice and cold and I feel better about saving straws :)

One of my punk rock idols toured with my friends band. I was away in school during their tours so I never got to meet them. They played a show near by a few winters ago and my friend introduced me, with the warning that he likes "Asian women with big boobs and tattoos" (don't know if that's true or if he was messing with me... but most likely the latter) so of course I got 300x more nervous. Now, I'm not a nervous kind of girl and I'm not easily intimidated or overwhelmed, but the second I saw him walking towards us, I started shrieking and crying, like a 12 year old girl seeing Justin Bieber in their shopping mall. He was super sweet, courteous, engaging, and of course charming, despite my inability to generate English words and my constant and literal) drooling.

I'd about crap myself if I got to meet Marilyn Manson. I'm super jealous! Have fun at the show!

This drinking glass would be so awesome! I drink a LOT of tea. Chopsticks are also extremely useful.

EDIT: Another good one! Now I'll get lots of crap for this one, but oh well. I was in Boston for a work conference and my sister was there for a Supernatural Convention. She had gone to some event that morning and I was meeting up with her for lunch at the hotel. I'm all flustered because my presentation at work didn't go too well and I was late and ended up running for the door that a few guys were coming out of... I didn't pay attention that it was apparently an exit only door (no door knob), nor did I notice that it lead right into the kitchen. The parade of hot guys was intimidating enough and of course, I slip and spill my delicious latte all over the feet of two of them. I apologize profusely and offer to get him new shoes and dry cleaning etc and he just laughs, which makes me feel even worse. The one guy is super nice (and unrealistically good looking) and walks me back through the kitchen to the dining area (I was getting dirty looks, but I wasn't sure if it was for my spill, my loudness, or my trespassing) and wishes me a nice trip, and I do the same. So I find my way through the dining area to a hallway lobby and notice the super nice hot dude is plastered all over the wall. Yeah, I spilled my latte on Jensen Ackles.

I don't think it is necessary to give a gift card for a lowkey care package, but if you know they are struggling financially or they have a favorite grocery store or clothing shop then it sounds like a great idea. You can utilize things like Groupon, Amazon home services for cleaning and home repairs, BlueApron or equivalent food prep boxes. I have heard that many people like those type of subscription boxes.

My personal favorite care package goodies are shared below. I would wrap a pretty scarf around a small bundle of goodies. And to make it all pretty, I would pin artificial flowers and a thoughtful card to the front.

I'm new to reloading, but I shoot a lot so instead of doing what every beginner should and buy a single stage press I saved up a little and got the AP press due to the fact I knew I would use it a lot. But after it came I quickly realized it was far more technical than I expected. I found out there were a lot of parts I still needed and a lot more money that still needed to be spent. I was fine with it bet I knew I would have to save up for a little bit to get it all. But after about 100 hours of reloading YouTube videos and four months I was able to actually start reloading. Oh, yeah, definitely. You can always blend up kale, or zucchini and throw it in there. It changes the color of the smoothie, but I use these, so I don't see it anyway.

Zucchini is pretty squishy compared to a lot of other veggies, so it would probably freeze pretty well. You could easily make a sweet, rich spiced pumpkin/carrot/cinnamon smoothie, too. I've found that vanilla protein powders enhance every single smoothie I've ever tried.

If an experiment isn't sweet enough, try adding sweetened almond milk, or apple juice. If you want tart, try lemon, or orange juice. If a vegetable is hard and crispy (like fresh broccoli), then steam it first and then toss it into a Ninja, or other food processor/blender. The possibilities are endless!

I've saved a lot of money just by making my own iced coffee at home rather than running to Dunkin Donuts every morning for coffee (which turns into coffee+breakfast most days). I used to brew the iced coffee/cold brew (which can save you even more), but I took to buying jugs of cold brew that are absolutely delicious, and much quicker. Rather than spending like $30/week on iced coffee/breakfast, I spend maybe $10/week (when you consider creamer, splenda/sweetener). Still kind of pricey, but totally worth it to me.

I use this tumbler at Target, and it's really great! Worth the investment.

When I moved out for the first time I went and spent a stupid amount of money at IKEA.... they are NOT BIFL at all. expecially not cookware/plates/glasses. i bought those and within 1 year everything almost broke.. not from me dropping them. but like 2 glasses actually broke in mine and my girlfriends hands when we were holding them! and 2 broke when we were washing them. with that being said..


Dont buy alot of stuff from ikea (some things are OK like the cheap partical board dressers and bed frames you will get a few years out of them if u take care of it but not bifl)

As far as where to invest FIRST think about where you are going to be spending the most time in your house. will it be your bedroom? living room with guests or kitchen if You like to cook or man cave (this is me) and invest in quality items in the location you pick. dont buy everything at once unless you HAVE to. you will wind up wasting money on things u don't need or might want to change

I bought these for use in our home and LOVE them and they're super reasonable, but I know nothing about vinyl (in fact, I have a Cameo that has been in a box for ...4 years?) so unsure if they're right for you. But based on the "frequently bought togethers," they might be.

And it's 100% true that you're jumping into a very saturated market. You would have to be creating some very unique pieces to be successful. I'd say try it if you're willing to put in the time to figure it all out. Tune out negative voices -- there are many -- and give it a shot. You may not be successful, but you may learn something or find it to be a jumping-off point. And maybe you will be successful! Somebody has to be, haha!

Not bad but the glass you should taste whisky in is a Glencairn glass.


Also it's really important to give the whisky time to open up, a good 10 minutes at least. A drop of water or two (literally) can help with this too, especially with stronger whiskies e.g. those that are cask strength.

I love this Cheshire Cat one. I love that the cat disappears, only leaving it's grin behind, when something hot is in it.

Do you really want these glasses? They're just normal 12oz (maybe 16 oz, but 12 is a little more likely) plastic glasses except they're red. The same design is super common in buffets or cafeterias around the Northeast US (and almost certainly elsewhere), though they're usually either an amber or a clear color.
