(Part 2) Reddit mentions: The best vanity lighting fixtures

After years of doing my makeup standing up in a tiny shared bathroom, I finally have a getting ready space of my own! We just moved into our first house, and I decided to convert the spare bedroom into a 'Glam Room'! In the room, I painted the walls, DIYed the no-sew faux Roman Shades (there's real honeycomb blinds behind them), wired the lighting, and assembled the furniture (with a buddy)! This was quite undertaking, and more than a few late night tears were shed throughout the process, but I could not be more pleased with the way it turned out!

This is probably not really the best place to ask this, but does anyone know of any vanity lights like these that are battery powered? I want some for my desk in my office, but I'm in a rental house right now, and don't want to run the wiring through a house I'm only going to be living in for another year or so.

I just installed these around the mirror of my vanity and I feel like it's going to be a game changer!

You could probably achieve the same look with a cheap wall/vanity light by taking off the frosted glass that usually screws in and installing the fixture upside down if it's a hanging one. Slightly similiar on Amazon

Damn what a nice bathroom! I see what you mean now. I decided on an extendable light fixture. I already have cans somewhat close to the location of your light, a bit further away from the sink.

Edit: lol these are crap. One didn't turn on and the other has scratches visible only when the lights are on. AVOID. Wound up returning the cabinets for more traditional mirrors.

You could get a bunch of ceramic sockets, electric boxes, etc. and wire them and strip them and wire them and strip them, and spend all day on it only to have an ugly monster that probably has wiring mistakes or you can just buy a couple of vanity lights.
