(Part 2) Reddit mentions: The best women fragrances

Using my beauty account for this-

I've had bacne problems since highschool and recently decided to stop being shitty and really tackle it. General washing helped but here are two products that I think you should try out:

AmLactin "12% lactic acid neutralized with ammonium hydrox". I bought this exact bottle from Amazon. Here's what you do- shower with soap and warm water (using water that's too hot for too long will actually strip the good oils and make your breakouts worse) then get out, pat your back/shoulders dry, and rub a thin layer of AmLactin lotion all over until it's absorbed. Then put on a clean cotton T-shirt and go to bed.

So that's the lactic acid route, which has had quite good results for me. It went from 7/10 severity to 3/10.

The other thing I recommend, which I am waiting for in the mail currently, is Neutrogena Body Clear Body Spray, which is the Salicylic acid route and as far as I know can be used in conjunction with the AmLactin or by itself, though with this one you want to start with only a little bit and gradually increase the dosage to 1-3 times per day to see if it dries out your skin too much. I've only heard good things about this.

Other than medications, what you can do is use "gentle" everything that touches your back. For me, it had a lot to do with general sensitivity to the harsh stuff. When I use dryer sheets or heavily scented soap or laundry detergent, my body acne is worse. Using this "natural" laundry soap and "scent-free" stuff helped out on the clothing front. Even if you don't think you're allergic to anything, I've found that hypoallergenic bathing and laundry products help a lot, actually.

Good luck, bacne really hurts the ego sometimes.

I'd stick with White Diamonds. It's warm, floral,.spicy. It was an award winner for Carlos Benaim, who's pretty well known now. Sparkling White Diamonds is cold and Easter lilies.

Dolcelisir by L'Erbolario is a great fragrance that is warm, spicy, boozy, and sweet. Great for cooler weather and is pretty affordable. Check out some reviews, but I think this is one of the best values in fragrance. Oh, and a guy can easily pull this one off if so inclined, so you may end up wearing it too!

It's alright, I've learned a bit from talking to the ladies in Myer. If you go to your respective fancy department store with a perfume range they'll be very helpful (and I have gotten a few mini samples of Black Opium).

What I was meaning by the eau de parfum, and toilette are these two bottles respectively. Your first link is to a bottle that was released after, and an extension of the Black Opium range found here. There are also bottles such as Pure Illusion, which is the same eau de parfum, but in a different bottle. I had a quick look on the YSL fragrance website, and found Floral Shock, which seems to have been relased in 2017. So through my little bit of research there, I found that the fragrantica website is pretty cool, and is a good resource for these sorts of questions. I liked looking into this, I learned some stuff.

Tsar -- Van Cleef & Arpels' finest...maybe.

A rich, complex fougere that is equally at home in the depths of winter and the height of summer.

Maker claims close to 30 fragrance note elements, and I can't disagree. Floral and citrus top notes, along with weird ass wormwood (artemisia) though more subtly blended here than in say Yatagan.

Quickly moves into a spicy set of heart notes, and a leathery, woodsy base with plenty of oakmoss notes.

Scent lasts forever (10 hrs easily on me) and projects moderately. A pleasant intricately structured scent, not as punch in the head oriented as earlier 80s stuff (comes from 1989) but yet potent enough to be fun.

Best things about it - the all seasonal appropriateness... and the price! Less than $25 for 100 ml on Amazon:

Good idea about cologne. I'm a bit obsessed.

Some options to think about:

• Thierry Mugler Cologne – a very clean, no-nonsense, citrusy, traditional eau de cologne scent (with a sci-fi twist) suitable for daily use in an office or school or anywhere else
  
  
• Terre d'Hermès – a clean, woodsy, earthy, orangey scent; also okay for daily use but also if you're going out somewhere special
  
  
• Eau d'Hadrien – a very traditional, clean, citrusy eau de cologne that is perfect for guys who don't like cologne. Downside is that it doesn't last very long.
  
  
• L'eau d'Issey – ambery woodsy with some exotic ingredients

Butts are super funny! Like, really... who doesn't laugh at butt related humor??

Anyway... I had this amazing roll on perfume with the freshest, cleanest scent... I love love loved it... until I ran out. And then I was sad sad sad sad. I am still sad because the scent I HAD is not the one linked, but this one intrigues me just as much (for some reason the other scent is not prime today?!? They seem to take turns). I really liked this brand, and one of my comfort scents is laundry... so "Laundromat" seems a logical choice for me!!! <3 thanks for being awesome...

When I'm wearing something super feminine and/or pink, I wear Victoria's secret Pink or Bath and Body Works Rain Kissed Leaves

Star wars Dark or star wars light. Both on Amazon, less than 13 dollars a bottle if you fall in love. I, myself, love the dark. It's got citrus, Cloves, and Dark Chocolate, but the light side is decent as well.

This link if for both, plus some travel sized stuff. I love dark, like Light, Droid is okay, Galaxy is horrid., but since you get those in the travel size, it's not a bad way to try them out.

Dark lasts a long time on clothes, and has mild projection

I was obsessed with those Secret body sprays like these. I had like four at one point, the vanilla one smelt soooo good. These were really popular at my high school. So was Love Spell from Victoria Secret. Those two scents are definitely what I think of when I think about the late 2000s.

Just choose the one that you like.

I frizz out, so I buy L'oreal Advanced Smooth Intense Polishing shampoo and conditioner. Helps keep some control.

I use Aveeno Active Naturals Stress Relief body wash. (It's lavender and chamomile, love it!) For my face I use the Aveeno foaming facewash.

My favourite perfumes are Calvin Klein's Euphoria and Ed Hardy's Villain.

If I'm looking for just a nice-smelling lotion, I'll use the Euphoria lotion. If my eczema is starting to pop up, I'll use some CeraVe or the Aveeno lavender and chamomile lotion.

it looks like it was discontinued, but luckily for you it's pretty easy to find on the secondary market.

This Bath and Body Works Lemon fragrance is my absolute jam! It's a clear, fresh lemon scent, without any of the cleaning product.

I got it as a gift, so I actually didn't realize until now that it's technically a cologne! If that doesn't bother you, I would highly recommend for a yummy lemon scent.

I'm proud of myself, in general . I have a lot of reasons I could be screwed up - I was emotionally and physically abused by my mother when I was younger, I was sexually abused by a neighbour as a teen, had a boyfriend die whilst he was on holiday abroad, dated an alcoholic, and was raped 5 years ago. Yet, I've never been arrested, or even cautioned by the police. I've never taken any drug harder than weed, and that only three times in my life. I've never, to the best of my knowledge, broken the law. Especially given the area in which I live, a rough council estate, thats quite an achievement. I'm even on good terms with my mum now (she had problems with mental illness, which doesn't lessen the damage caused, but does explain her reasoning at the time.) And, at 30, I've finally started working towards my History degree - I'm going to be a teacher, I hope, and inspire other geeky kids like me!

This is the item I would like - It sounds weird, but as well as the scent I love that the cap matches my bedroom wallpaper!
