Hello. I want to buy a US digital code for the Eshop, as it's not available in my country.

I tried this from Amazon. I put in an address in Indiana, and they let me buy it. I waited 24 hours but still no code, so I contacted support and they told me, "there is an ongoing issue with delivering the digital games and software purchase orders." and they're currently in the process of refunding my $20.

Next I tried pcgamesupply.com but for some reason they keep telling me that "Your transaction has been voided". I talked with support and they said that "we do not have specific information as to why this has occurred."

So basically I'm stuck here. Is there any website that accepts payment from Lebanon and also doesn't increase the prices?

EDIT: I saw a method in an article that solved my issue. So basically what you need to do is gift yourself an Amazon Gift Card with your regular billing address. Then you use that Gift Card to buy the Eshop Gift Card, and it worked! I've redeemed the code on my Switch and now I'm planning to buy Snipperclips!

Here's the article, btw.

My goal is to stop keeping my mind on work. Ever since I got fired from my first job, the experience left me scarred. After this I set out to find a new job, which I finally found (kinda) recently. I set out to be the best employee I could be, which was a good thing...at first. I became so used to being stuck to work and overachieving as to what I was actually supposed to do, all I could think about was work. My head became filled with thoughts about work. I realized when I went out with friends and all I talked about was work, which really annoyed them. I'm trying to relax a little, and so far I've a bit of progress but not that much.

Now, I've always been interested in video games as a kid but i stopped playing after I got my new career. I haven't played for a long time, and I wanted to bring back the habit. On my wishlist I have Nintendo Switch gift cards which I can use to buy said games;right now I only have 3 games.

This is the link to the $20 gift card:

And the $35 (or 26 pounds) gift card:

Thanks

I'm not Shure, but I think they are country or region locked. Because the Nintendo eShop card that I was able to look up on Amazon was only valid in the United States (I'm in USA), going to the Amazon.uk the same gift card says that it can only be redeemed in the currency That was loaded onto the card.

But here is a Amazon link to the us version according to Amazon you'll be able to pay for it in Canadian dollars. But the card or code will be redeemable only in the United States

Card:

Digital code:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0YDV8M/ref=cm_sw_r_fm_apa_-ntTAbQP8SFV2 would love to get this if i am chose you would had to buy it for yourself and send code but anyways have a good day i also love Amazon customer support but i hat Amazon shipping limitation to were i live.

u/Mikazah · 5 pointsr/beermoney

It's only slightly more inconvenient to do it that way. Basically, here's what you would do:

  1. Add gift cards to your Amazon account. This is simple. You just paste the code into the box and hit "Add to your balance". (I think you can just add them during the checkout process too.)

  2. Add a nintendo gift card to your cart.

  3. Complete the checkout process (same as with any other online site).

  4. Wait for the card to activate (usually within a minute, but can take a few hours) then get the code from your games library.

  5. Use the card code like you normally would.

Doing it that way will open up a lot more options. Amazon gift cards are on most sites. Nintendo gift cards... not so much.
u/oneupthespout · 4 pointsr/3DS

You should probably set up a nintendo network id first and then a nintendo account.

https://www.nintendo.com/3ds/nintendo-network-id/

https://accounts.nintendo.com/

Give yourself a USA address from a hotel or something if you have to. Choose a state that doesn't apply sales tax on the eshop. Florida is good or Alaska.

Choose US eshop as you can now use overseas credit cards and it is cheaper and has better discount sales. You can also get email delivery of US eshop money from
https://www.pcgamesupply.com or
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0YDV8M

Also set up a my nintendo account to get digital rewards and discount coupons.

https://my.nintendo.com/

Then purchase games either through your 3DS or
http://www.nintendo.com/games/3ds

At the top above Add to Cart, they say either:

Ships from and sold by Amazon.com. Gift-wrap available.

Available Now.
Sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC

And note that just above the Product Description, all of them say:

Special offers and product promotions

Any video game purchase of $19.99 or greater on Amazon.com will qualify you to receive an Amazon promotional code that will grant you three exclusive pieces of DLC for Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood! Codes will be sent within 48 hours of purchase. Here's how (restrictions apply)

That's what you need to look for. Most (but not all) new games or time card will be eligible. If the game is old, and no longer being published by the original company, it's probably going to come from a third-party and not be eligible.

u/pandapanpanda · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Some online retailers that sell digitally distributed NA codes are Amazon, Walmart, Play-asia, and Target. Amazon most certainly sells digital codes. You could also just buy games directly off the eShop on your Switch without any need to take the intermediary step of purchasing a separate cash card.

Will remove this post since I believe I've answered your simple question. :) Thanks!

Hi guys, I'm working on Amazon Mechanical Turker just to gain a few bucks. I live outside US, so I can only be payed through Amazon.com gift card. Living in Italy, shipment would cost a lot, so I was thinking of using these money to buy Digital goods. Specifically I want to buy Nintendo eShop credit for my Nintendo Switch. The only problem is that it says it is "Currently Unavailable", which is a little strange for a digital good. Is it because I'm not from US?

Here it is the link so you can check out the item for me https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-eShop-Gift-Card-Digital/dp/B01LYOCVZF/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=nintendo%2Bswitch%2Beshop%2Bcard&qid=1562247623&s=gateway&sr=8-1&th=1

If it really is because I'm not from US, there's a way to buy this item without the risk of getting banned?

u/CarlosRobayo23 · 4 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Buy a $50 Nintendo eShop Gift Card [Digital Code] on Amazon US, it will take your European credit card :)

u/TemptedTemplar · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

90% sure that will be the case, only once the eShop is up and running.

If it isnt you could just as easily use the amazon credit to buy Eshop cash

u/redmandolin · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

What, how is that possible lmao, never seen that before tbh.

My Aus card wont work. I tried making a US paypal account but you need a us number.

I would recommend making a new US nintendo account and then buying giftcards off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-eShop-Gift-Card-Digital/dp/B01LYOCVZF/ref=sr_1_3

u/KiaraHakura · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I used an amazon gift card to buy some eshop currency a while back. Would this work if you gift him an amazon card and then he buys a CAD eshop card via amazon??? I included the link of what I bought below, but not 100% certain they are locked to US or not?

u/PunchyMcHurtyFist · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

You just buy an eShop card from Amazon, they send you the code and you input the code normally from there. Follow this link for the US eShop cards https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZNGPY3/ref=oh_aui_d_detailpage_o01_?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You can choose which amount you want and just order it like anything else from Amazon.

u/TheSupremeAdmiral · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Can't help you with Amazon but you could instead use that money to buy a digital eshop gift card.

With that you can put the money on your nintendo account and then buy the game digitally if you have enough room to download it onto your system.

Don't they have E shop codes on Amazon ?

u/guuu427 · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

They sell both. For example, this is clearly labeled as being digital, while these appear to a physical cards. (Having said that, Amazon Japan won't even show me the listing for eshop codes, so maybe you can't see that first page if you are outside the US.)

u/MisterMagellan · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I've always had great experiences with Amazon's customer service too! A little over a year ago we ordered a fairly large package full of Christmas gifts. Well, that package got stolen off of our doorstep, so I contacted Amazon and they just resent the whole package over again! Pretty cool thing of them to do.

This Symmetra Funko is one of the few Funkos I've seen under $5 and it's a cool Overwatch one.

EDIT: I have failed as my item is an add-on only... but this Nintendo eShop card would be my next choice :P

Amazon has 128gb sandisk microsd for $25, and also on amazon you can buy digital eshop money as in you will be sent the code in a few minutes

Digital eshop code: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYOCVZF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_akd6BbE5BWQ1N

  • where it says "Denomination: 20" you can change it to: $5, $10, $20, $35, $45, $50 or $70
u/ChristopherFritz · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I haven't tried buying/using one of these, but here is the Amazon URL: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYOCVZF

I notice that Switch is mentioned in the title, and the page mentions it is a digital purchase (versus a physical item). I see they have amounts ranging from $10 to $70.

u/FuriousFalcon · 4 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

You just have to find the product that doesn't include "Digital Code" in the title.

https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-eShop-20-Gift-Card/dp/B00U6DTA9S/ref=pd_rhf_dp_p_img_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BWPZ5APR0EV1GSW1HK9P

I am taking a bit of a risk -- 1, the product doesn't explicitly say it supports the Switch (though I don't know why it wouldn't), and 2, I suppose Amazon could cancel my order and say the purchase doesn't apply to this promotion. But it's worth a shot.

I assume you can on Amazon.com without a problem with a Japanese credit card. The link below is for the digital code so you can use it right away, and unlike play asia and other sites there is no markup at all.

https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-eShop-Gift-Card-Digital/dp/B01LYOCVZF/

For the opposite situation (buying a Japanese eshop card with US money) Amazon.jp used to be great since you could use a US card and get the digital code with no markup, but they stopped carrying them (link below, but not actually available for purchase right now)...

https://www.amazon.co.jp/%E4%BB%BB%E5%A4%A9%E5%A0%82-%E3%83%8B%E3%83%B3%E3%83%86%E3%83%B3%E3%83%89%E3%83%BC%E3%83%97%E3%83%AA%E3%83%9A%E3%82%A4%E3%83%89%E7%95%AA%E5%8F%B7_P/dp/B00WDOO7KU

u/StoneMoney · 1 pointr/beermoney

You could get amazon giftcards and then use those to buy eshop codes here

u/SwimBiggs · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitchDeals

Amazon always sells $50 eshop cards at $50 without discount, so I'd wait for them to provide discounts.

u/mtlyoshi9 · -4 pointsr/nintendo

Except they also have a $5 one, so they're not all 2-digit numbers.

Any way you look at it, this gift card is different from all the others.

u/MonochromeTyrant · 1 pointr/nintendo
u/Husky_Dude · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Edit: You don't preload the funds to your account, you add the code at checkout. Jesus H. Christ...I feel like a numbskull.

Last night I purchased this eShop card from Amazon and I am having the hardest time trying to figure out how to redeem it on my Switch. Not even sure if it's possible. I see the item is advertised for "Switch" but in the product details it says "Platform : Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS" - very confused and just want to play Mario!!!

u/Novalith_Raven · 2 pointsr/Argaming

Te doy una mano. Acá te dejo el link de la eShop Card de $50 dólares.
Es código digital, no tiene delivery, te cobran eso en dólares y te dan el código que luego levantás desde la eShop.

u/DarkDuskBlade · 2 pointsr/pokemon

I don't know how I never found it before, and I remember looking years ago. I tend to just buy a theme or something (this past years was Fire Emblem Warriors DLC, added the ten and then just used 'add needed funds').

u/Orchidias · 1 pointr/ffxiv

I'm a bit confused about the pre-order physical items with eligibility. Would the code be sent out before the item is actually shipped? (And if so, isn't that like the worst idea on amazon's part for obvious reasons?)

I'll still look for something I can immediately buy now but since I just pre-ordered Persona 5, I was wondering how that would work.

EDIT: [https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/4o08d7/amazon_promotion_details/d48i94y](As this comment confirmed my doubt), time to order a physical [https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-eShop-20-Gift-Card/dp/B00U6DTA9S/ref=sr_1_1?s=gift-cards&ie=UTF8&qid=1465908629&sr=1-1&keywords=nintendo+eshop](Nintendo time card)!
