(Part 2) Reddit mentions: The best almonds

TRAINING:

I do a typical bro split. I try to go a minimum of 3 days per week, ideally I would go 5.

I like to pyramid up and then down the weight on the main lifts: bent over rows, overhead press, barbell bench, and squat. I skip the pyramid down portion in deadlifts because I'm typically running out of gas after I go heavy on deadlifts. I do sets of 5 with the main lifts and keep adding weigh until I stall, then I go back down in weight.

I also do alot of isolation exercises once I've completed the core lifts. I like to do 3 sets of 8-15 reps on isolation exercises depending on the exercise.

Day 1: Back and shoulders

Day 2: Chest, biceps, triceps

Day 3: LEGS!

Day 4: Core plus extra exercises I feel like doing

Day 5: Complexes and experiments with new exercises (I rarely make it to the gym for day 5)


MACROS:

MEAL 1:

I really only ate two meals during this cut. I typically do half a pound of chicken breast, and 3 servings of broccoli and cauliflower and a ton of siracha. Without hot sauce I would not be able to eat this clean...

MEAL 2:

4 eggs ( I get the 660mg of omega 3 eggs)
4 strips of bacon or 4 sausage patties depending on what I bought

I also snack on almonds. I like the ones below because I'm not good at portion control.

I also snack on quest bars if I need something sweet. Chcolate chip cookie dough and apple pie are my favorite (apple pie are higher in carbs though...)

Overall my rough caloric intake was 1800 calories as I was trying to cut weight agressively. I aimed for 150-170 grams of protein and was usually under 30 grams of carbs.

Yeah, it helps to catch things on sale when you can, and buying in bulk for sure. What I see in my local grocery store reflects what I found last time I was putting together an Amazon Pantry box: Peanuts at 22 cents an ounce, vs. almonds at 62 cents an ounce. Plus, I am a cheapskate these days, so there's that!

The Garlic, Herb and Olive Oil are great and the Rosemary and Sea Salt are too, I have yet to try the Pink Himalayan Salt though.

Actually, annin tofu is not made with actual tofu! It's called that due to the texture of the gelatinized milk, cream, and sugar mixture. The flavor comes from annin powder which you can buy from shops in east Asia. The powder I used here was from Taiwan meant for making drinks similar to this one. I just used a regular pastry cream recipe and swapped the vanilla extract for the annin powder. Texture was the same as a pretty standard cream filling. Was super tasty since I love annin flavor, similar to almond but slightly different. You could probably achieve a similar flavor by using almond extract instead, which is often done in cheap annin desserts.

These taste just like cinnamon toast crunch. I bet they would be amazing in some heavy cream. Maybe add some milled flax too?

Have you ever tried Creme Brulee Almonds? Not cheap, but they are amazing.

I never ordered them, and they just came in one day randomly. All the information on the box checked out, and it even had the amazon prime stuff on it. I called their order support line, and gave them the order number on the box and everything. It was associated with an order I purchased about a week ago, but there was nothing on the order that said I purchased them.

I think it was just a scheme to get more purchases from these nuts, as I gave some to my friend and within the week they bought a ton from amazon <_<

They are dangerously tasty and its easy to over indulge.
