C5-7 quadriplegic. If he's a Para, chances are he's got more function than I... If I can figure it out, surely he can; just get one in his hands and let him play. If not yours, that's what store demo units are for.

Couple aids I use-

A case like this one- it has the little cutout at the bottom so you can add a wrist strap, SO much easier to grab on to quickly/ can just hang my phone off a hook on my chair: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Fashion-Korean-Style-iFace-Case-For-iPhone-6-6s-5-5s-Cases-Durable-Candy-Color-Shockproof/32691225328.html

An elastic loop on the back: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MEHPUSR

And as for a hook, it's far easier and cheaper to look for kids' stroller accessories than medical-leaning hardware. Usually medical/ health stuff gets a crazy price markup. Here's the hook I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002MXP3SM

And a bonus accessory, the cupholder I use on my chair... can throw the phone in here too when in a hurry: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G14BIU

Cheers, hope it helps!

Waterproof bluetooth speakers can be had pretty cheap these days:

Might want to pick up a small dry bag for a phone or two, some car keys, etc.

Pick up some big, cheap carabiners from Amazon. Often sold as "mommy hooks". They work great for quickly and easily connecting a bunch of tubes together without having a mess of life jacket straps. Also work great work getting a couple pairs of sandals securely stowed.

Tired of going up and down the extension ladder? Wish you had someone to help hold your stuff so you could do all the work by just climbing up one time? Try this:

You need:

  1. Attach magnets to your tool bags, they can hold screws, tools, and metal parts, bits and more
  2. Set up ladder where you need to work
  3. Put hook and all materials in your bucket, add a few extra things you think you might need, you got the room, better to have it than having to climb back down and get more stuff
  4. Climb up ladder, hang bucket in front of you on the ladder rungs
  5. Work with ease, with plenty of space to store trash, tools, and materials in your nearby hanging bucket
  6. Place small metal parts and fasteners on your magnets. Your tools are also easy to reach, since they sit around your waist on your tool belt
  7. With a little planning, to ensure you have everything you need, you can complete a project with one climb. Its safer too, since you have to hold less stuff- you are free to use your hands to work and stabilize yourself

This is the one we have (well, an older version)

It is perfect for our needs and maybe will the bill for you: many positions for the babies, either in regular seats or car seats, and inline. The newer version appears to be shorter than my old version, which looks nice. Universal car seat adapters. No third seat, but they do sell universal gliding boards that attach at the back. My singleton just turned 3 before the twins were born, and had been forced to start walking on errands early on in my pregnancy because I couldn't lift him into strollers or carts any more. The contours stroller, at least my version, has a toddler handle on either side and he holds onto it and walks. We do 95% of the household errands with myself and the three kids, all under age 4. The basket is generous underneath, but I also ordered these hooks for the handlebars, and I attach a store's hand basket to them when shopping: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002MXP3SM/ref=sr_rp_1?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&ie=UTF8&qid=1450470916&sr=sr-1&keywords=Stroller+hooks

Good luck!

I can vouch for these - with twins I have to use a stroller for almost all of my grocery shopping and I hang the heavy-duty Trader Joe's canvas bags on the hooks. It works really well, but definitely take the groceries off before you take the kid out!

This. They actually make ones for strollers that work great for this purpose.

Yeah, I use something similar to these, left over from when our kids were babies. The "handle" is padded, which is nice.
