My mom has some rubbery little belts that we put on the bottom of our coffee mugs when myself and my siblings are home. They are different colours so you just have to remember your colour. I have seen similar drink markers at thrift shops so might be worth checking there.

I use these glass chalk markers. I had originally been using chalkboard labels and chalk markers but I found that the chalk didn’t actually erase and it felt wasteful to use new labels each batch. These work really well, don’t smear too much, and wipe off easily with soapy water.
