TL;DR Anything but dresses.

I have had great success with...

-Lolita Charm socks: BUY THOSE for real they are amazing.

-Hugme Skirts: Get one size up from what you think you need. DON'T buy the suspender skirts they are cute but too short! They say you can message them and tell them a custom length but I have not tried that.

-M4U Skirt: I love my Ice Cream print skirt I got from them, it is long enough and the bow detaches. The fabric is kinda odd, not shiny but it almost feels water proof/smooth like a synthetic fabric.

-These tights in the pastel pack! Get those when they come back into stock they are very comfortable and fit well.

-Purses: I got a great one from the U Like store but I also had one purse never show up from them due to customs. They gave me a refund.

-Shirts: This one Is really meh, I would avoid it unless you can sew details on the cuff sleeves. This one I like but I bought for my size and its too big so maybe order one size down.

• All the spray sunscreen. I like the Neutrogena Dry Touch
  
• Cute giant straw tote to put all the things in
  
• Cute suit - I bought a few cheaply on Amazon lately and was impressed with the quality, selection and value. Here's my favorite.
  
• Cover up. I'm partial to longer dresses
  
• Sunglasses, natch.
  
• Flip-flops. If you're going to be in the sand a lot, get the cheap-o kind and don't worry too much about them being cute.
  
• Kindle. If it's sunny this is the best way to read electronically.
  
  Now we kinda need to get into the nitty gritty of what type of beach vacay you're talking about. If you're at a full-service resort vs DIY'ing it, you need different stuff.
  
  DIY:
  
  
• Beach blanket. I have a kind that rolls up with a strap I can carry on my shoulder.
  
• Cooler. For all the drinks and munchies. Roller ones are the best.
  
• Beach umbrella. If you're there all day you're gonna want the option of shade at some point.
  
  Resort:
  
  Theoretically you have things like drinks and chairs and umbrellas already at a resort, so instead we'd round out the list with non-essentials like
  
  
• Giant brimmed hat
  
• Resort evening outfit
  
• Beach games like paddle ball, floats, Frisbee, etc.

I've been to Jamaica a couple of times and I'm sure you'll see there are going to be all types of body types wearing bikinis and showing skin on the beach. Not saying you need to wear a bikini, but just saying you won't be the only one rocking love handles and bellies.

As far as things to wear for going out at night.....maybe consider some cute summer dresses? Those tend to be flowy and flattering.


Try not to overthink it too much. Its unlikely anyone will be judging you based on what you're wearing. You'll be on vacation.....try and relax and enjoy yourself!

High waisted two pieces 100%!!!! They are SO cute and flattering. I loved them before I got pregnant and am absolutely planning on getting more of them after the babies come because of how low my stretch marks are and where the section scar will be. I feel my most confident when I’m not worrying about my flab hanging out so the tummy control on the high waisted suits really makes me feel cute and comfortable.

The biggest things that come to mind are some comfortable every day panties and a nice bralette. I picked up a pack of something like this in the early days and I still enjoy wearing them. If you want to get something matching, a CK set like this is really nice, and their cotton stuff is really really soft!!

Something else would be a starter makeup kit to experiment. You could follow along to YT makeup tutorial videos.

And finally I'd get one semi-conservative outfit, maybe some cute jeans and a sweater or something. Something that you might be comfortable leaving the house in at some point in the future. Also some women's sneakers, socks, and hair/skin care products.

I definitely have one of these already. It's too long, and too small in the bust, but I can make it work, lol. I also have this when I've got the courage (and the freshly-waxed girlyzone) to wear it.

I DO love kimono robes, but I was thinking more like this for inspiring or post sexy-times. That or just stealing a button-down shirt from him. Those are hands-down the sexiest bathrobes a woman can wear, haha!

Probably stay at Caesar's Palace and GAMBLE. I want my girlfriends and I to have quite an amazing time. Go wild and meet Chippendales. ;) Hit on as many guys as we can and be their lucky charm. Probably turn into a female version of Hangover.

I bought this bathing suit in jetstream blue last summer. The top fits perfectly, but I have a butt that does not cooperate with the whole "cheeky" bottoms thing. I really like the look and coverage of the high waist bottoms, and found a couple I like on Amazon (this one and this one specifically) So my big question is, looking at the color of the top, would navy blue or black bottoms match better? I gave up on looking for exactly that color. Would polka dots go with it at all?

There is a shelf bra underneath for support. It's a little tight on me, which gives me support but also HUGE cleavage but is otherwise very comfortable and flattering

Partner of /u/dgibbons0 here. In March I was on the hunt for a selection of bikinis. I did my shopping online. What I needed from Portland was a white bikini with the quickness because the one I ordered wouldn't arrive in time. I found it at Charlotte Russe. They still have a small stock of them when I was in earlier this month. They are not thongs though.

I did not see any thong bikinis on my searches in Portland. I highly recommend going ahead and doing online shopping for this. Amazon is your friend. Here are some links I kept that you may find helpful (NSFW probably).

Also, for sizing, which seems to be your concern with online shopping. Size the bottoms as you would your underwear. Size the tops of triangle top bikinis large. It's not as sexy as one might think to have a top that's too small.

Three months out, so I'm following. I didn't have any stretch marks with my singleton, but twins made my skin look like shattered glass. But I'm hopeful! And my favorite pre-maternity swimsuit was a vintage inspired one with a high waist and I'm looking forward to wearing it again.

I went on vacation recently and the person I went with gave me a bathing suit she bought on Amazon that didn't fit her because boobs. I want a million more in different patterns. There's nothing quite like finding the perfect one. I brought two others with me, and practically lived in the one she gave me for the 2 weeks we were there.

Same question! A halter type suit, like this one or this one might be fine, but if OP needs shoulders covered, then a rash guard is probably the best option.
