I bought this bathing suit in jetstream blue last summer. The top fits perfectly, but I have a butt that does not cooperate with the whole "cheeky" bottoms thing. I really like the look and coverage of the high waist bottoms, and found a couple I like on Amazon (this one and this one specifically) So my big question is, looking at the color of the top, would navy blue or black bottoms match better? I gave up on looking for exactly that color. Would polka dots go with it at all?

Super supportive and sexy + free returns. I read the reviews and everyone is right that it runs big. I normally wear a 32ddd and I got a 32D and it was perfect. For reference, I am 5’5 and 122lbs.

Because it's specifically called a "bikini" line. As in, trimming your pubic hair to match the boundaries of a bikini.

If you don't want a bikini, wear something else instead. This style is an extreme example of swim shorts, but they come in all kinds of different lengths. Clearly, if you wear something like this, you wouldn't need to worry about your bikini line.

On the other extreme, women also wear G-strings, which pretty much require a Brazilian wax, or close to it. But it's certainly not required and I've never met anyone who felt pressure to wear a G-string. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.

I actually found that my Cleo Pippa swimsuit was more stretchy than the Cleo bras I wear, especially in the water. It's more of a balconette than a bandeau cut, though, so the bandeau could cut in more at the top. I normally take a 30G in Cleo's and needed a 30FF in the bikini. It gives me the cakes-on-a-plate look out of the water when it's dry, but in the water and when it's wet I feel secure like it's fitting like a regular bra would. If the suit was a bra I would have ordered the 30G, though. Protip: I'd buy the 28E and DD just to see. Make sure you lay down when you put them on, so you can see how they'd feel when you're laying out on a towel or something. The 30G gaped on the sides for me and that's what solidified my FF choice.

There is a shelf bra underneath for support. It's a little tight on me, which gives me support but also HUGE cleavage but is otherwise very comfortable and flattering

Oh I would love to go to Disney in the winter. After melting to death at Epcot I think next time will be in the wintertime.

Partner of /u/dgibbons0 here. In March I was on the hunt for a selection of bikinis. I did my shopping online. What I needed from Portland was a white bikini with the quickness because the one I ordered wouldn't arrive in time. I found it at Charlotte Russe. They still have a small stock of them when I was in earlier this month. They are not thongs though.

I did not see any thong bikinis on my searches in Portland. I highly recommend going ahead and doing online shopping for this. Amazon is your friend. Here are some links I kept that you may find helpful (NSFW probably).

Also, for sizing, which seems to be your concern with online shopping. Size the bottoms as you would your underwear. Size the tops of triangle top bikinis large. It's not as sexy as one might think to have a top that's too small.

I assume you're looking for a bikini solution, not a one-piece? Because you could possibly wear your old bikini top under a flattering one-piece and maybe get a good look.

Tight bikini bottoms work fine for me but I have shrinkage before I even get in the pool :)


I cannot wear any type of string bikini bottom because they don't compress enough but a bottom like this one works great.

hey girl. Im similar size to you. I wear Frankies bikinis size large on top and bottom and I get styles in the Greer, Willa, and any kind of Bandeau top. For the bottoms, I get the greer style or Harley. I hate halters/triangle tops/neck tie tops and prefer sports bra style tops. Frankies is expensive AF but I find them on sale/ alternative online resellers that will have them marked down, or on poshmark.

From amazon, I have gotten this style and it fits great and I like the front tie style of it instead of it. I would get a darker color, because the pads are cheap looking (I take them out) and the lighter colors are kind of see through. I get a size large.

You can find the bikini styles by search "retro bikini" Amazon has some cute ones. They also have some similar looking dresses under both vintage and retro dresses. For some reason retro tends to be a better search term sometimes. Best of luck!
