I have a little girl, so I'm not very good at putting together outfits for boys. Therefore, I'll just link some random items and leave that task to you! I love clothes shopping for little kids!!

  1. This is a nice casual, fun jacket.

  2. Here is a cute sweater.

  3. Here, here, and here are some simple shirts.

  4. Here is a winter coat - although, I live in Arizona so I have no idea what makes for a nice coat lol we usually get by with just long sleeves.

Gotta go cook dinner now! Have fun shopping!! :)

[I have this jacket] (https://www.amazon.com/Columbia-Ascender-Softshell-Jacket-Black/dp/B00LGXZXO8/) in a women's size. I live in Oregon, and it's great, fits well, waterproof. But help, how on earth do I style it?!??

Here are 1 2 cosplayers who briefly describe there process in the description/comments.

  1. modify a halloween swat vest

  2. Look up 'Ballistic Tactical Flotation' or 'Entry Assault Utility Vest' ($$$)

  3. Paintball Airsoft Chest Protector

    4.complete mgs1 snake costume

  4. Easiest would be a Down Puffer Vest or a fleece vest

Sorry none of these are perfect, just ideas. Consider building the cheap costume - and improving it over the years with $$$ and the perfect pieces as you find them

Yep. Those pockets are definitely interior pockets, so it's being worn inside out as /u/curlfreak63 suggested.

There's a good chance Kanye's is some designer jacket that is exorbitantly priced. Alpha Industries, Rothco, or your local military surplus are good budget options. Maybe ASOS or H&M, too.

Hi! I'll be moving from the tropics to chilly UK from January-June next year, and I'm really confused about outerwear. I've read the winter outerwear threads, but I'm not sure if I should

get one all-purpose waterproof parka: I'm eyeing this girls' Patagonia parka. It's got a hood, will be fairly waterproof, and will be knee-length. But holy shit, $250 is a lot to spend on a coat. I looked at this Uniqlo girls' parka as well, but I'm worried it won't be able to withstand the rain.

or

go with a decent rain jacket. I've got a couple affordable options, but will need to layer quite a bit underneath. I thought this Joules jacket might be quite nice, and this windproof parka would be good for cycling in the rain. Would I need to layer with another coat over the rainjacket?

Help. What do people usually do?

I'm not sure which jackets you mean? Do you mean like the North Face jackets or Canada Goose? Could you describe them a little?

If we are just going out to the store, or to and from daycare, I use this thin, but lined with fleece, Columbia Jacket. I got it on sale for $14. I'm in Seattle, so we can get away with a fleece/sweater and this jacket unless we are outside playing for a long time. Then we pull out the big gun puffer.
