I'd love to help you out! In addition to some other gifts, I really want to buy your daughter those ugg boots she wants, but I would hate to see someone spend that much money for boots that will probably get ruined after a single season. In my experience, Bearpaws have been proven to be more weatherproof and cheaper than uggs. I've had my pair for about 5 years :) Here are a few links:

Last year we got these crocs ones, which I can't recommend as a waterproof boot, but they were easy to get on and new-ish walker friendly.

Everyone loves baby bogs, and they are especially good for the smaller ones who still aren't super coordinated. We went with classic bogs this year, and we have a pair of See Kai Run waterproof boots/hightops that we bought for hiking this summer.

I've told this before but I believe it could apply here too, a defining moment in my life was after we found out my mom got cancer about a year ago, she underwent radiation and chemo for awhile and went through two surgeries, masectomies. But now as far as we know everything is fine and she's cancer free :) so as I've said before this was a defining moment in my life.

The main thing that I need is a pair of shoes for my oldest as his are starting to fall apart. We can and likely will be able to get him a pair like those but it won't be until Christmastime.

There are many other options for full shoes, but a sneaker probably isn't what you're looking for, as those are made to breathe for activity. Plus the treads on boots will be better in the snow than slippery sneakers.

Stride right are hard-soled, but they're softer than most. They're probably the most flexible of the hard soles. Maybe try these for example. I used Stride Rite and Native brand shoes when I was getting my toddler used to shoes. And these are the Native shoes I've been using. They're very flexible.

Western Chief. These are my kid's favorite AND they light up. On our 2nd pair. They're easy for a kid to take on and off, affordable, and most importantly, can take some major abuse.

We also have a toddler with big feet and we have had a ton of luck with these merrell in wide sizes...

I’m not seeing pastel solids on Adidas’s website but they do have several different colored stripes.

I'm in a different country so I can't recommend a specific brand, but when I buy shoes for my wild ones I look for shoes that have the rubber from the sole extended around the toes. Now those are quite expensive but when I look in a regular store I usually find a pair for 20-30 euro.

It doesn't stop the wear but slows it down enough that they usually outgrow their shoes before a hole has formed.
