This is a large box to store up to 4000 cards, it saves on cost and keeps your whole collection together, but it will get heavy.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000K41E7E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_LEO3BbSNMHCWD
This is a set of boxes with a little less storage room but it accommodate separate collections for you and son, and allow for a lands pool to share. Plus they are far lighter individually when they get full, rather than moving 4000 cards at once.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MWJQ7X6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_mEO3BbBNT9Z75
They are also available direct from BCW shop in larger quantities and generally for a better price.
Also get binder(s) for rares and foils, much safer way to store cards with some market value or the potential to gain value in the future. Don't worry about doing separate binders for sets, if you have rares enough to fill a binder, maybe it's time to build another deck.
I keep most cards that I buy, even if you exceed a play set, if you are a casual player there is no reason to dispose of them, [[Llanowar Elves]] is super common, but they are also the most dependable green ramp card, if you have them why give them away or get a penny per ten at your LGS when you could just keep the two dozen you'll eventually amass?
Lastly, I have played all four of the C18 decks at least a couple of times each and they are all pretty decent, that in mind I would recommend either [[Aminatou, the Fateshifter]] Subjective Reality or the [[Saheeli, the Gifted]] Exquisite Invention deck. They are fun and niche style decks, not that the other two don't have their merits but they are pretty popular concepts for decks, Bantchantress is a common archetype in commander and it is powerful and popular which means upgrades are expensive. The last one being largely lands focused means that your largest avenue of upgrades is literally the most aggressively priced card type, lands, this doesn't make it bad just, again, expensive to upgrade. Now a lot of people have varying things to say about C18 decks but the big thing I can say that is incontrovertible is that Exquisite Invention and Subjective Reality have the most opportunities for upgrades that simply make them the best choice as a starter deck. Artifacts are printed every set, this will mean always having room to grow and relatively easy access to cheap in theme cards if you choose red blue. The other deck I feel is more customizable at a reasonable price point, considering GRN had great Dimir (U/B) cards and the surveil mechanic that feeds solidly into the theme, and the next set will give Azorius (W/B) and Orzhov (W/B) a turn to present their best which is generally really solid, the white blue black deck is also a really solid option. I hope this is detailed enough to help inform a decision, and too much so that it is annoying or long-winded.
I vote for Marvel, because I love the X-Men. Specifically Rogue, which is reflected by the collection of comics in my WL. The one I'd request though, would be Rogue #2 because an anonymous lovely RAOAer sent me #1 a few weeks back and I'm jonesing lol.
But honestly I just think the amount of characters represented in the Marvel universe are more interesting and fun to imagine. I mean, Batman is cool and all and I'm not anti-DC by any means, but Wolverine has a more interesting story and actual super powers, you know? Storm can control the freaking weather. Rogue strips people of their life force and can actually steal other mutants' super powers. Nightcrawler freaking teleports through time and space and other dimensions. Thor is literally a god. Batman has a tool belt.
Of course DC has Wonder Woman and Super Man, but it seems like most DC characters work alone whereas in the Marvel universe they like to work in teams, and I'm all about friendship. I do like that DC focuses more on regular people just working really hard at being better and focusing on a goal though, like Green Arrow. I love the reimagined Robin Hood thing.
My favorite villain is Loki, mostly because he's so damn funny. Also, there's a new series out called Loki Agent of Asgard in which he actually becomes a hero and attempts to redeem himself. Of course everyone hates and distrusts him, which ends up being pretty freaking hilarious.
Your favorite DC hero: Green Lantern
Your favorite Marvel Hero: The Hulk
MY TEAM:
I'm picking my Avengers based solely on username because I still don't know people very well on here, so I'm poking through Intros and I find /u/Ninja_Platypus. Laura, you are now literally a mutant platypus that has the ability to turn invisible at will for optimum stealth. You also have a tendency to randomly lay eggs, which both disturbs and delights your comrades.
/u/sistermercy: My fellow Graphic designer! Your gardnerian Wicca powers allow you to concoct useful, magical healing concoctions from plants. At some point deeper into the storyline you find out that you're actually 1/8th forest elf and contemplate leaving the team to live with the elves in another dimension.
/u/FlyingBallerina: You can't literally fly, but you have the ability to hover mid-air and dance-beatdown to the faces of villains with much grace.
I've inadvertently developed an all-girl superhero team, so we need a male supervillain cause we're all girl power and stuff. We need a villain who is /u/FigurativelytheWorst. Dude is the worst, what can I say. lol
As you can see, I'm kind of a comic book nerd.
Pathfinder Adventure card game remains one of my favorite games. I absolutely love the leveling and deck building system, the campaign is fun and the later boss fights and the scare of permadeath is great.
I do play with a few variants however, nothing crazy but some things to make the game much better. I play finding boons differently, in that you can banish them like normal (Eh, don't care about them), OR upon failure you can shuffle them into the same location deck (I'll come to it later) or put it back on top (I'm not progressing until I get this, I NEED this!). It adds a lot to the game, because we've had games where somebody would try to get this crazy spell or helpful ally, but wanted it so badly they'd waste explorations and time trying to get it. It adds a neat risk reward mechanic to the game.
My other variant is to set up the locations in a logical order (Ie, something like town square, city gate, farm, wooden bridge, then the woods) and make it so you can only move to adjacent locations. This does 2 things, in that 1) it makes movement skills and cards go from "Whatever" to "Glad I have this!", and 2) When your at the woods, and just want to go somewhere safer you realize that town is so much farther away. I like the feeling of having to traverse and feel like i'm far from a safe place. Closed locations are skippable because your'e not spending time watching out for goodies or monsters, so you can move freely through them.
For storage and set up I have a huge card box like this one And have room for Rise of the Runelords and Wrath of the righteous as well as all the (So far) released character decks. When we start a new campaign, I ask if they want to do a generic fantasy adventure (RotR) or Demon slaying and trips into hell ((WotR) or if they want an extrended campaign (RotR then 4-6 of WotR with no mythic paths) after we pick our characters I seed the future scenarios with all the class deck options of our party and then were good to go!
I do see peoples problems of the game (Scenarios too similar, just chuck dice to kill things) but I try to make a story out of everything. If I fight a mercenary in the general store and then encounter a sword there, its not "Ok, 9+1 to beat, got him, then an 8 to get the sword) it's more like "Ok, I jump a mercenary hired to stop our band of heroes, and I'll use the dagger and sword so I can save my rapier for something more formidable. Oh neat, the Shop keeper is offering me a sword from his wares as a thanks for stopping a dangerous criminal"
It's a fun game, and if you throw in some variants and can tell stories, it goes from a fun good game to a great one.
I may be freaking out...
My favorite character is Mal (and yes, my username is dedicated to him). His loyalty is astounding. His crew is his family and I think it's extremely admirable. He keeps his head in times of hardship and usually pulls through with even a laugh or two. I love that he surrounds himself with people he'd like to be more like; or at least people with qualities he feels he's lost. He admires Kaylee for her innocence, Book for his faith, Simon's love for his sister and dedication to learning, etc. He knows he's had to bury this qualities in himself, so he keeps them close in other people so he doesn't forget them.

What to store things in
I use binders for commonly used cards and cardboard boxes for "bulk" cards (The cards you don't think you will use very often): 5000 capacity box, 800 capacity box
I also hear that these Stanley Organizers are also incredible for storage, as each compartment is the perfect size for a sleeved MTG commander deck (100 cards).
The binder should definitely be sorted. Not only is it more organized that way, you can find the cards you need much faster. The box can be unsorted, though I like to at least keep cards belonging to the same faction together.
This does run into the problem of occasionally not knowing whether a card is in the binder or box, but it has the advantage of giving you quicker access to the cards you most commonly use. I mostly do this because of habits from MTG, where you get tons of useless cards, but Netrunner doesn't give you nearly as many useless cards, so you could make the argument for storing all your cards together instead of differentiating between commonly used cards and bulk.
How to sort cards quickly
Your cards can be in whatever order you want: completely alphabetical, by faction and then by type and then alphabetical, by set, whatever. Your personal preference.
However, when it comes to sorting cards, or anything in general, there are fast ways to sort and slow ways to sort. Anyone who has studied computer science can attest to this. The difference is small when you only have a few cards, but quickly becomes massive as the number of cards grows.
Here are the two sorting algorithms you should know if you want to sort your cards quickly: Quicksort and Merge sort. They are among the fastest algorithms out there, they're easy to understand, and they're practical for sorting cards by hand. I'll explain them in the context of sorting cards below.
Quicksort
Here's how quicksort works for computers: Choose a "pivot" item at random from the unsorted pile. Now, go through everything and divide it into two piles: Those that would come before the pivot, and those that would come after the pivot. Then, sort each pile individually (usually with yet another quicksort). Once the piles are sorted, just combine them and put the pivot in between them, and voila, the pile as a whole is in order.
However, if you're a human, you'll find it more efficient to sort based on certain characteristics of the card that you can quickly identify (such as the card's faction) instead of whether or not the card comes before or after a randomly chosen pivot. In addition, you'll want to separate into multiple piles instead of just 2.
Here's an example: You want your cards sorted by faction and then in alphabetical order. You already sorted you cards by faction, and now, you want to sort your Anarch cards in alphabetical order. The cards you want to sort are in the following order: Wyldside, Demolition run, Deja Vu, Grimoire, Corroder, Medium, Yog.0, Stimhack, Parasite. The first step of quicksort is to divide the cards into piles. When sorting alphabetically, I like to make a pile for cards from A-E, one for F-M, one for N-R, and one last one for S-Z. However, as long as every card in one pile comes before every card in the next pile, it doesn't matter how you make your piles. So, dividing these unsorted cards into piles (according to my preferred sorting scheme), we get the following piles:
{Demolition run, Deja Vu, Corroder}, {Grimoire, Medium}, {Parasite}, {Wyldside, Stimhack, Yog.0}
Each individual pile is not in order, so we sort each pile individually (I would use another quicksort on these piles if they were bigger) to get:
{Corroder, Deja Vu, Demolition run}, {Grimoire, Medium}, {Parasite}, {Stimhack, Wyldside, Yog.0}
Then, we just combine the piles and we're good.
Merge sort
Here's how merge sort works for computers: Divide your big pile into 2 separate piles, and then sort those piles individually (Usually with another merge sort). Then, once the 2 piles are sorted, merge the piles into one sorted pile. The merging process is made much easier by the fact that the two piles are already sorted individually.
Here's how the merging process works: Look at the top item of both piles. Whichever one comes first gets added to the bottom of a new combined pile. Repeat until both piles are empty, and voila, your combined pile is sorted in order.
Example: You have the following sorted piles: {Demolition run, Yog.0, Wyldside}, {Corroder, Parasite}. The first elements of our 2 piles are Demolition run and Corroder. Corroder comes first, it becomes our new combined pile. Now, the top item of our 2 piles are Demolition Run and Parasite. Demolition run comes before Parasite, so it gets put at the bottom of our combined pile. The top cards of the piles are: Yog.0, Parasite. Parasite is put at the bottom of the combined pile. The second pile is now empty, so just put the rest of the first pile at the bottom of the combined pile. The combined pile looks like this: {Corroder, Demolition run, Parasite, Yog.0, Wyldside}. It's sorted, yay!
If you're a human, you'll be doing mostly the same thing as the computer. However, instead of having to lift up the combined pile to put a card at the bottom of it, you can instead make the entire combined pile face-down and add cards to the top. When you're done merging, just flip the combined pile upside-down.
Which one?
From experience, quicksort is a lot better if you have an unorganized mess to sort.
However, if you're adding some brand new cards to an already sorted collection, you'll want to use mergesort instead, since your collection is already sorted. Simply sort the new cards, and then merge the pile of new cards and your already sorted collection.
How NOT to sort your cards
Perhaps you currently sort your cards like this: Pull a card out of the unsorted pile, find out where it goes in your pile of sorted cards, then put it there. Repeat until unsorted pile is empty.
Or, maybe you do this: Go through the unsorted pile, find the item in the pile that goes below every other item in the unsorted pile, put that item at the bottom of the sorted pile. Repeat until unsorted pile is empty.
If they feel slow, that's because they are. They're mathematically inferior to quicksort and merge sort. The first method is actually OK if you want to just put back a card you took out of your collection, but if you have more than a few cards to add to your collection, merge sort instead.
Very cool contest idea! Thanks so much! :)

Here are a few ideas that I really like:
Ok, I think I've flooded you with enough links. I hope you have fun checking out what everyone sends in! :)
> But there's just no justifying the blatant exploitation of kids through psychological carrot and stick in my mind
I know people have only been reading about behavioral science as it applies to reinforcement for a few weeks since this loot box thing became big, but if you think these games are the first industry to take advantage of intermittent reinforcement, they're really not.
Remember these?
What about these, ever buy your kids one of those?
Ever promise your kid dessert so he'd eat his broccoli, and not tell him it's fruit salad?
Everyone uses this. The whole entertainment industry is built on the back of intermittent reinforcement. We use it to train out dogs. We use it to educate our kids. We use it to reward good work, in big companies (sell x of y product and win a trip, to be revealed soon!).
Casinos are just the most obvious, most direct way of doing it.
Mmh it’s not the same but it’s pretty similar. Can do.

looks like this mini helmet on top. The font is a little off but I think it's sitting on top of a soft foam beer koozie like this one. It seems like the thing under the helmet is bending in slightly at the top from the weight on top which leads me to believe its some material like the softer foam in a koozie. Given the font is not exactly like the one I linked, there's probably a good chance it's not an officially Nascar licensed product, unless Earnhardt changed the font on his #3 at some point in his career.
G'day! This is the loveliest sub ever! Such beautiful peeps!
My most random item would be This one I'm not into sci-Fi at all, but I have the best flatmate ever who is madly into Star Trek. I've got that on my Wishlist for him! I did the Sci-Fi secret Santa last year, as a surprise for my flatmate. Santa came through! Best surprise I ever gave him.

Oh boy a scavenger hunt
Thank you for the contest
I have 3 small "porcelain"* dolls that my mother brought me when she went to London years and years ago. My 3yo BS LOVES them. He calls the little girl doll his baby and will carry her around all day. The boy dolls are Baby K (BS6) and Baby W (BS3). At 3yo he knows to hold Baby carefully and to set her down safely before he does anything else.

If a 3yo whirlwind in the shape of an little boy can manage to hold and play with a breakable doll without it breaking, an adult sure as hell should be able to do so! I'm of the opinion that your MIL did it on purpose. Especially with denying it and then that crack about dolls being for little girls. And normally people don't sit on a couch and wait patiently when something falls accidentally and breaks. They call out warnings/explanations or get up to see if it can be picked up.

*I don't know that it is porcelain - they are definitely breakable but are more sturdy than the antique doll that was my grandma z's prize. Here's a link to some dolls that are a similar style. (Mine really aren't terrifying, lol) I originally let BS3 play with the dolls because I was just going to donate them and he liked them. https://www.amazon.com/DISTURBING-COLLECTION-NOT-PORCELAIN-TERRIFY-CHILDREN/dp/B07GWM7PS1/ref=sr_1_22?keywords=porcelain+doll&qid=1550518383&s=gateway&sr=8-22
The only single box storage I've seen that may work is the BCW monster storage box Amazon link
I don't think there is a good single carry box solution either. I don't think I want to carry 5000 cards in one box as I think it gets heavy fast especially if you sleeve, in my case I double sleeve...
I'm going with the Hobby Lobby artist cases. I ordered 4 of them as they were on sale last week for $26 and I'm going to paint them and replace the hardware like this guy did boardgamegeeks
2 boxes are for Marvel Legendary, 1 for Legendary Encounters Alien/Predator sets and one for Marvel Champions when it comes out.
She's actually a pretty accomplished artist, she did this one shortly after finishing the movie, so she was just a kid. As far as I'm aware, it's the only JP painting she did.
I got it from her Amazon store, but it was $100 less during Christmas. This is the frame I got for it, which I think looks great. Especially with the metal JP logo nailed to the frame.
Copy/paste from my response to this question just a couple of days ago:
I've tried a number of different sorting methods and the one I'm using now I think is the best for a player's active collection. If you're not a player, you might be able to adapt what I do to make it good for you anyway.
So, for starters, each set gets its own binder. In addition, I have a binder for trades and secret rares, a binder for promos (one for each card generation, so SM Promos, XY Promos, etc.), and a binder for playable singles, sorted by set. At the front of each binder, I've also got a sheet protector that houses the booklet that comes with the set's Elite Trainer Box.
Each binder gets the card pages necessary to house a playset of each card from the set (secret rares excepted). I have created a spreadsheet in Excel that, in addition to calculating the necessary number of pages, will calculate the size of the binder the set will need based on the number of cards in the set. Each card is then organized by card number all the way through to the last of the special energies. I prioritize regular holos over reverse (prefer them) and reverse holos over non-holos. For alternate arts, I keep whichever art I prefer as the playset in the binder (for example, I prefer Alolan Vulpix GRI 21a over 21, so I keep 21a in the binder--when it's not in a deck, of course).
As for cards that exceed the playsets? It depends on whether I've considered them playable bulk or regular bulk. If I don't intend to try to trade it away, playable bulk goes into the playable bulk singles binder until it hits a full playset (always 4, even for cards that can only be one ofs in a deck, like prism star cards). Once it hits a full playset, the playset goes into a penny sleeve and then the playable bulk box (like this), which is sorted by set (using a divider from its Elite Trainer Box) and then divided by little plastic dividers (like these) into the following sections:
If I consider the card not playable, it goes into an Elite Trainer Box from the set it belongs to (or bulk boxes like the one I use for energies mentioned below if I don't have one), sorted by card number with same sections as above, just in case a card gets reclassed (like Chimecho CIN 43 did just recently). I still use the dividers with sets prior to Black and White, but the dividers are numerical instead (every 10 card numbers).
Basic energy cards are sorted into bulk storage boxes (like these).
I was 6 or 7 and just learning about football. Family had relocated to the NY area not long before, and I didn't have any hometown loyalty.
Bought my first pack of football cards, and the first one on top was John Smith, K. I liked the colors, and the name.
For the first 20-some years, admitting to being a NE fan got me laughed at for being a chump. For the last 20-some years, admitting to being a NE fan gets me eye-rolled for being a bandwagoner. Still have my signed 1978 Steve Grogan card on my desk at work though!
Well, keep in mind it was a touch more French--which has "re" in it--and euphamisms like derriere were considered more pleasing than their counterparts. Consider, counter, and derriere all have consecutive "e" and "r" presses (ooh, press, there's another. And "here" or "there!").
It's actually quite easy to obtain a sample article from the "early days" of typewriters, and English wasn't half as lacking in "re" combinations as you think "er" ones may have been. Invoice (for sale on Amazon for almost $1300), letter; 1934, newsprint, etc. Well past the Shakespearian, Edwardian, and Victorian eras, wouldn't you say? And only a mere 30 years before cinematic photography really got rolling. Think about it: the US Constitution and Declaration of Independence are both pre-typewriter era, but most post-print (as in printing press) publications and documents are perfectly readable and understandable to modern English readers (excusing that whole f/s mess), with few exceptions.

It might be out of favor now but Michigan has definitely been known as Big Blue in the past. But don't worry, there was some disagreement between Auburn and Michigan over who was the true Big Blue when they played in the 1984 Sugar Bowl and Auburn doesn't use the name anymore either. Still, it's part of Michigan's history whether current fans like it or not.
Thank you very much!
The picture can be found on shop.nhl.com here for $129.99. It comes pre-framed and with the pieces of game-used net!
The autographed Fleury hat was previously on shop.nhl.com but appears to not be on sale anymore. It was $109.99. Here's an expired Amazon listing if you're curious. Looks like the only option now is to get the hat and get lucky enough to get him to sign it!
Finally, the Murray hat was signed in person at Market District in the South Hills, so it only cost the price of the hat and a couple hours in line.
They're great boxes if you're careful with them, but they're not as strong as they feel. They tend to come apart at the seams if something halfway to heavy is on top of them for an extended period of time (something like, say, another full holiday box). The paint is kinda cheap and exposes the cheap cardboard with minor scuffing.
I mean, it's a $4 box. I can't say I'm terribly upset, but I also now know you can find better ones on Amazon (my buddy uses these, and I'm having him pick one up for me while he's out of town).
*Edit: He's actually getting me the 4-row edition, which is much cheaper. They also sell them in 3-row and probably in smaller (and perhaps larger?) sizes.
Dude here, but the one that women have universally loved is shots where I'm laying on my back, slightly propped up. Arms/hands behind the head or in a position where it looks like you're starting to pull your hair back. Kinda like this guy with variations of the amount of clothing on.
This is what I use for my "bulk" cards:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K41E7E/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
None of the stores in my area carry this, so that's why I buy it from Amazon. Otherwise, it's better to buy this from a local store and save 5 bucks.

Not a problem - I think the fact that members of my family have started a few different businesses and employed family members in them would make me think twice about doing that with my own kids or other family members. It just sucks when you don't get that break from work when you go home. It becomes all consuming in your life.
The very last conversation I had with my grandfather one-on-one he was telling me about how he came up with pricing for their most successful product. While it was interesting and informative at the time I would've rather had something else to talk about.
This is what we talked about for the curious. And while I realize it's a link to Amazon, my family doesn't own the company that manufacturers these anymore and I could care less if anyone ever bought one again.
I organize my cards this way:
THIS for for bulk (holds about 5000 cards, which is great because I produce wayy too much bulk).
2 FOUR 12-pocket portfolios, one for current format, and another for past format cards
Then, for each set, I use an Avery .5-inch binder. I collect the master set + additional card, and every card gets sleeved.
Finally, PSA graded stuff goes into its separate container, with some of my favorites framed up.
Also, the only useful piece of advice in this post: store your cards with dessicants or keep a dehumidifier
How many expansions do you have? Magic the Gathering Holiday Gift Boxes hold 2000 cards for about $20. They aren't the best quality, but they look nice, are sized like a normal board game and you can buy them just about anywhere. That should cover 4 expansions.
Also, you could just buy a BCW card box that holds 5000 cards for about $10. They don't look pretty, but get the job done.
Little boxes on the hillside.
How about this card box for all of your card needs?
And I will have a great Friday, I hope you do too!
Over 10K? Fancy!
That better be some good lube...[NSFW...? Idk..it's a bottle of lube]
My not so fancy taste
I just picked up the most recent pack today... Been using the 5 Row cardboard card box thing - https://www.amazon.com/BCW-Monster-Corrugated-Cardboard-Storage/dp/B000K41E7E
All the cards fit (sorted ID, faction, events, hardware, program, resources. Similar for Corp). I originally had everything sleeved until the last cycle. I found myself having to put newer cards in with no sleeves to make it fit better. It doesn't look like another full cycle will fit though.
Well, you can't get plutonium. But you can buy uranium here and here
You can also buy one of the plutonium cell props from the movie here
God damn I love Amazon...
Assign places by whoever has the most prestige
Cut to a subset of the top (4/8) players, and do a tournament.
The top tournament has a slightly different structure, where they're all single games of 40 minutes, and it's a double-elimination tournament.
There is NO sideboarding in a Netrunner tournament. You cannot change cards in your deck at any time. In fact, at a competitive tournament, if you forget an agenda on the last table or whatever, and your deck doesn't 100% match the decklist you brought (you only need decklists for competitive tournaments, usually,) you can get disqualified. That's one of the big no-nos at a Netrunner tournament.
The best way is with these white cardboard boxes. They come in a range of sizes and are likely carried by your LGS.
I love dragon shield sleeves, and highly recommend them. The box they come in will store a normal deck easily.
For slightly larger, I'd suggest going to a hobby store and asking for cardboard storage boxes. They're a cheap, but suitable option. Or Amazon
Thats expensive in the UK :)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As some other players have mentioned, BCW has amazing boxes for storage. I have a very large collection, somewhere over 8000 cards (rough guess because I ran out of boxes and I still have more cards to put away.)
But I prefer to use the 800 count boxes because they are long, single row, and I can stack them how I see fit.
But if you want all the cards in just a few boxes, BCW also has a 5000 card box. I probably should've gone with these to be honest.

About 50 of these guys (I know this is how most stores near me keep their collections) or 250 of these guys will probably be you're best bet if you ever plan on accessing the collection or keeping it in good shape. You could just get some large storage bins for them, but it probably won't conserve that much space anyways.
We use these storage boxes We organize them by set and type except for trainers which live in their own box. Set/Type makes it very easy to both sort and find what were looking for (E.g "check the psychic section in Phantom Forces"). When we open packs or go to a pre-release, we just put them into type piles as we open them; when we get home we drop them into their section of the box using plastic dividers.
Trainers are sorted by Supporter, tools, stadiums, balls, spirit links, energy manipulation, etc.

You might find it cheaper on Ebay, but that's basically it.
Yeah, rubber bands are not good for cards, I would invest in some boxes to store your cards in, op. Like This or some of these

Two of these, One for Corp, one for Runner. I won't run out of room til long after rotation so I think I'm good.
I have a card storage box like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000K41E7E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_BCgLyb7BFBSEF. I put all my worn out stuff in this as well as those promo cards and some gaffs like double backers. It keeps them somewhat organized and out of my way I often go into this box when I need to make my own gaffs or replace a card etc.
I got it off of Amazon. There are smaller sizes as well, depending on how large your collection is.

They work rather well. If you are in a moist environment, I would also suggest storing them in an airtight Rubbermaid container.

Cheap, plenty of space, only downside is you'd need to make some dividers yourself.

that was just the first in the search, you'll need to figure out which take sleeved cards and suit your needs.
I just buy boxes off of Amazon. Unless you have a card shop near you that will cut you a deal. Though for the record, it's much cheaper to decide what deck you want to build and buy singles instead of packs. As far as holding cards you could get a couple of these.
I don't need double talk, I need this to get my husband's office organized so he can start to work from home. That means finding a home for magic cards!
/u/serenewisdom needs this peeler because ain't no lady need to be peeling no carrots and taters with a knife!
