I definitely think if you stopped in January, with beginning to try in May, your system should be clear.

I like to do a natural detox about everything 3 months (when the seasons change), for 3-5 days. You could add several different types of detoxing after you quit smoking to really, really clean up.

I add a spoonful each of bentonite and psyllium husk to a glass of cranberry juice. (It can be any juice, but cranberry is strong - to mask out weird tastes - and it's known for being "good" for feminine issues. And I love the taste.) It's super sugary though, and cutting sugars is a good part of a detoxing, so I'd water it down. Mix everything up well with a spoon, and drink up.

You could also add Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) into your life, if you haven't be acquainted already. It's amazing.
It's can be crazy disgusting at first, but the results are wild. It will absolutely impact your:

  • digestion
  • bowel movements (can cause diarrhea if you take a lot at first; work up to 1 shot glass of it)
  • energy

It's recommended before you eat in the morning and/or afternoon. A shot every morning will start to make changes within a day. Do half a shot to start, mixed with water. You'll want a chaser of at least more water, if not something juice to get that taste out of your mouth.
I used to do this as part of a healthy weight loss plan. It helped with my appetite and digestion, and honestly gave me a lot of diarrhea. I realized I was just taking too much, so cut back, and it now really helps if I'm ever constipated. You will likely really want natural and safe ways to help with constipation with your preggers. You will likely be crazy constipated often.

Lastly, a actual "detox" kit is always good. These are my 2 favorites, but there are more out there that are good. Inner Cleanse is the cheaper (1/2 the cost), and it's gentle. Like ACV, it can cause diarrhea. Read and follow the directions.
The other one is Raw Cleanse. It's more complicated and I found it pretty gross, but if you can stomach the process (or find a middle ground with it, like adding juice), it's quite effective. Both of these kits are different, but their ingredients have detoxing elements that nothing else so far has offered.

Also, I recommend drinking kombucha at least weekly. IMHO, this is one of the best brands for kombucha (besides locally made goodness). There are a few other brands that are good, but watch our for the sugar.

So, if it's not apparent by now, all of these detoxing, in some way, stimulate you to ultimately poop a lot. Trying all these different ways of detoxing will not only detox you up, but you can find one detox that you prefer, and then do that one occasionally. I do a super big detox, as in all the things described above combined, maybe every 18. mos - 2 years, and then just one of those (cranberry juice blend or detox pills) every ~3 months.

Hope this helps! Congrats on planning a family. <3

Hey! OK. I'll try to give you some insight!
(I'm also detoxing right now, as i'm also job hunting. Yay for us ;)

Are you using anything to help you detox, aka pills or fiber or something?
Here's what I use: (and it's all natural)

Detox Pills

OR

Ultimate Cleanse

For these next two, what I do is mix them together in a glass of cranberry juice in the morning and at night, following the directions on the label of starting small and slowly increasing the amount. For short periods (which I would do right at the beginning, for a few days) you can do use the bentonite like 5 times a day (so use it without the pysllium in the afternoon), then cut back to once in the morning, once at night again.

Bentonite

Pysllium

Both of these combined = a lot of fiber and cleansing. You may get constipated, you may be pooping a lot. I wouldn't recommend doing them both for the first time, at the same time. Try the bentonite and psyllium first, do it for 5 days or so, then the pills.

  1. There isn't a way to really speed up the process, it's more like you just want to hit it HARD. Drink water, no trees or booze, exercise are all great. Employing detox methods like the ones I mentioned above can help kick it in the pants.

  2. I've been able to pass a test within 2 weeks by cutting out all bud and doing this regime + lots of water, general exercise, eating well, etc. I have never been a very heavy smoker (I'm 5'6, 150lb, smoke 1/8th a month). So, take that for what it's worth.

  3. I think less fat = faster metabolism, and less room for stuff to stick around. I know NOTHING, but I'd assume less fat would be a good thing.

  4. While you're at the store getting those awesome detox supplies I recommended or looking on amazon, pick up some melatonin, and maybe some other natural sleep meds. Melatonin is GREAT and has always helped me for short term sleep issues. Other sleep meds should definitely work, especially if you're never used them before. ;)

    Hope this helps girl!

That sounds great. I used Maca alone for the first month (to see what would happen) and then added this DIM supplement later (https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Encapsulations-DIM-Detox-VegiCaps/dp/B0063X0J0O/ref=as_li_wdgt_ex?&linkCode=wey&tag=thhoka-20) . I do think that my skin did get a tiny bit worse at first, but eventually after a few weeks I saw a big difference in my skin.

I also used a good sunscreen (Neutorgena Clear Skin or Eucerin were the only two I could use) and I wear it every day. The retinol helps fade previous scars with sunscreen use. It took about a year. I also have a great esthetician whom I still see for facials once a month or so. This has helped also with scarring, as a light chemical peel made a difference. I've had friends with horrible experiences at spas, so definitely check around before getting a chemical peel or anything of the sort.

Finally, if you haven't tried it yet, Clindamycin-Topica (w/o the Benozyl Peroxide)l worked well for me as an almost immediate relief which didn't dry out my skin. It is not a long term solution, but it did help. It's crazy expensive though. I just called my primary doctor (or my OBGYN) and asked her to prescribe it for skin acne. Saved me the fee of going to the doctor. http://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-61196/cleocin-t-topical/details

Also, as promised, here are all the supplements I do take to ensure proper liver/kidney functioning. I mentioned this in my previous thread and someone PM'd me about it:

http://www.amazon.com/Spring-Valley-Milk-Thistle-Concentrated/dp/B0026QKEXY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1396637353&sr=8-2&keywords=milk+thistle

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QUL2R4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (I'm a big fan of this, seems to help in a LOT of ways)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0019H141C/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AWWC4O/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (This is more to help combat any, uhhh, constipation from Kratom, and is good if you are worried about any fungal or bacterial things on the kratom you are getting)

And then I mentioned these strips earlier to test at home, they are a fantastic bargain:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VSMDOE/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I highly recommend if you are a daily user like myself to invest in those. If you can afford kratom, you can afford that. And if you can't, let me know because I'd be happy to buy a few more boxes that have 100 in them and pass them along to people in need.

You have 3 options.

Option 1: Use synthetic urine. You can visit https://www.quickfixurine.com/ . Basically you get 2-3 oz of fake piss. You heat it in the microwave the day of your test and wrap a heating pad that keeps it at 98 degrees Fahrenheit. (everything is included in the kit and it cost $29.99-39.99 depending on which kit you pick) As long as you won't be supervised this is the best way to go. Also you don't have to stop smoking and you are guaranteed to pass 100%.

Option 2: Detox Drink: With this method, you will "mask" the weed in your system. There are numerous amounts of detox drinks but the one that I have used in the passed and has worked was Q-Carbo: Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/Bundle-capsules-Ultimate-Detoxification-Absolutely/dp/B00FPZXQKG/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1548987905&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=qcarbo+32&psc=1

They also sell this at places like the vitamin shoppe. (GNC to my knowledge doesn't carry it). So the day of your test you wake up drink the drink. Fill the container up with water and drink it again. Drink as much water as possible and piss atleast 5 times before you pee. This drink will work for about 6-7 hours. After drinking the first half gallon of water take a couple multivitamins and vitamin B 12 to add color to your urine. If you do not have any coloration, chances are the test will come back inconclusive and you will have to piss again.

Option 3: All natural: Depending on how much you smoke a day this can be rough. It can last in your system for up to 45 days.

Either one you pick I wish you the best of luck!

I would love some advice on products!

What is your current routine? (AM & PM)

AM: Splash with water, apply Mario Badescu oil-free moisturizer SPF 50

PM: OCM with mineral oil, I add Good Things creamy cleanser if there is too much mineral oil left on my face. Argan oil to moisturize.

Nip + Fab exfoliating pads 1-4 times a week, usually in the morning.

How long have you been using your current routine/product in question?
About 1-2 months, before that I just used cleanser + argan when I remembered.

Did you include one product at a time?
Yes

What is the product/products in question?

  1. Cany anyone recommend a cleansing oil with an emollient? I'm happy with mineral oil but it would be nice if I didn't feel like I had to wash my face after OCM. I want fewer steps!

  2. Also need an all over night time moisurizer that will get my face super moisturized while also helping with the issues at the bottom of my post. I think I want a retinol product, I am looking at these one
    two
three . I have read a bunch of stuff in the sidebar about ingredients, but there wasn't much info there on how to choose between very similar products.

  3. Can I buy this instead of the Aztec clay? Its much cheaper and appears to be the same ingredient link

Describe the issue(s) you need help with.

22, normal to dry skin, only get 1-3 pimples a few times a month in the T zone or hairline. My main concern is that I have a lot of wrinkles around my eyes, and it makes my dark circles look WAY worse. I also seem to have some broken capillaries around my nose and dark circles which I think are from excess rubbing because I have a lot of allergies.

    Thank you!

It's gonna be okay. You got this! I haven't had to take a break, but my SO has changed jobs many times since we've gotten together. My only recommendations are to hydrate (I try to drink half my weight (in lbs.) in ounces every day; also, they swear by Herbal Clean Qcarbo Liquid Detox Supplement. Congrats on this opportunity, OP! Let's review "The Stuff"

The description I can find.

"Creatine and Vitamin B2 in formula! No activator required. Cleanse your system of toxins fast! Works in 60 minutes; Effective for up to 5 hours; Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back; Proven effective; Tastes great; Creatine and Vitamin B2; Fast - Safe - Effective."

So it seems to me it is a B vitamin and Creatine formula.

Creatine: A antioxidant for this purpose. Which in no way helps or hinders THC removal from the body.

B Vitamins:

B2 Riboflavin: Vitamin B2, also called riboflavin, is one of 8 B vitamins. All B vitamins help the body to convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is "burned" to produce energy. These B vitamins, often referred to as B complex vitamins, also help the body metabolize fats and protein. B complex vitamins are necessary for healthy skin, hair, eyes, and liver. They also help the nervous system function properly.

By this definition, the B vitamins in that drink help you convert substance to energy. Rather it be ingested food or body fat. So it will help indirectly remove THC from your system, assuming you are not eating enough calories to sustain your level of activity. However it is not going to remove them any faster then just stopping to begin with.

Your "detox" solution, may perhaps remove "toxins" from your body, but it is not targeted at THC removal.

It also may "mask" the THC in your urine. I still wouldn't run those odds. I've read that they work for some.

Through personal testing, using urine test strips that the lower cutoff was 50ng/mL. Testing "clean your system" drinks, and other various methods I've found on the net and none have been effective, and still fail the test.

Keep up with your workout routine. 11 days is tough to say with the frequency of use. Is today when you’re quitting for the first time or have you already in the near past? If so, how long ago. A cheap and good detox id recommend is https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ISAPPLI/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1510014520&sr=8-2-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=dr+tobias&psc=1

It’s a rapid cleanse. I would also try and get Home drug tests to take the day before just for peace of mind. DO NOT run or exercise 24 hours before the test because that will increase the possibility of an increased amount of metabolites in your blood/urine from the THC. Drink plenty of fluids and try to eat as clean and healthy as possible. It’s possible. Best of luck man!

Edit: I’ve used the rapid cleanse myself a few time (not for a T break but for an occasional cleanse), so I can vouch for its effectiveness. It’s all natural as well. I would say do it up until 2 days before your test. So you may want to one day ship it if you decide to get it. You will shit like a goose, so you are warned!
If you don’t want to/or have funds time to then go and pick up a gallon of aloe Vera concentrate and drink about 16 ounces of that a day. Morning and night.

u/QwopMob4 · 1 pointr/weed

Masking is potentially a solution. I know people who use this on the day of the test and have had success: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RZAIHS/

However for best results: use within 3-5 hours of the test time.

also, is just taking some spirulina and chlorella powder in my water once a day better for removing toxins/heavy metals in my body??

Today's Routine:

  • Saturate hair with warm water
  • saturate hair with liqud bentonite clay - let sit for at least 5 minutes
  • rinse really thoroughly
  • saturate hair in GVP Detangler Conditioner, S2C and comb through with a wide tooth comb
  • rinse in cool water
  • flip hair and run a quarter-sized portion of GVP Conditioning Balm through hair and squish

    Out of the shower:

    • Rub a Hershey kiss-sized portion of pure Shea butter between hands until it melts, then add a dime-sized portion of GVP Detangling Leave In and run mixture through hair
    • wrap hair in microfiber turban for 10 minutes, then shake out

To anyone who is skeptical about Sally's GVP products, they work. I've been hooked on the conditioners for months. The Shea Moisture knockoff, I was hesitant about, because I had some issues with the original product, but mixing it with the Shea butter seemed to make a difference.

On a day to day basis, I typically only use the Detangler Conditioner, the Conditioning Balm as a leave in, and the Shea butter. With my curls as tight as they are, they get tangled very easily, and products like gel and curl cremes often work against me. Yesterday was the first time I tried combining the Shea butter and curl cream, and when I rinsed my hair this morning I noticed it didn't feel overwhelmed with product so I decided to do it again. Clay rinses, I typically do once a week, and co-wash most other days. And I sleep in a satin bonnet.

Pepsin made my stomach burn, but all you really need is HCL to activate your own pepsin. I like this brand. In general I only buy something that doctors or health food stores sell. Lots of sketchy brands on the internet

Premier Research Labs Premier HCL, 90 V-capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006OBVRMY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_iqVZAbHT4Z59P

If your heartburn is caused by low acid, HCL should help. If it's caused by a structural issue it won't help. And if you have a burning sensation after taking HCL, you'll know that you're taking too much or don't actually need it. Stomach acid Lowers throughout day, so some people only need it with dinner. The only doctors who know about this are functional MDS and naturpaths. A milder solution that some people use is Apple cider vinegar in water.

I recently learned that magnesium oxide and calcium carbonate were lowering my stomach acid, so I'm switching to magnesium glycinate and calcium citrate. Nutritional issues are really tricky. And yes always good to check with your doctor. For instance, people with ulcers should avoid HCL.

Another thing that you can use and this is what I do (MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT ALLERGIC TO PEA OR RICE PROTEINS) is a thing called mediclear, try to have a smoothie with it in the morning and night until symptoms calm down a little. http://www.amazon.com/Thorne-Research-MediClear-980-34-6oz/dp/B000FGXO2U
IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO SOY DO NOT BUY Mediclear Plus. IT IS SOY PROTIENS WHICH WILL (if your like me) END YOU. Once you open this your body should feel a little relieved just breathing the air of it.

There's a pretty good breakdown of cork types in the bottling section of the wiki. Be sure to check that out.

Wax looks really cool but can be a real PITA to do well. It takes a bit of practice to get right. If you would rather not go down that road but want something that will still look professional you might want to check out heat shrink bottle toppers (something like this: https://www.amazon.com/30-Black-PVC-Shrink-Capsules/dp/B00AUJE4GM/ref=sr_1_5?crid=19WMEA8ISB1GY&keywords=heat+shrink+wine+bottle+seals&qid=1572539092&sprefix=heat+shrink+wine%2Caps%2C136&sr=8-5 ).

I appreciate that the other commenters in this post are trying to help, but in my experience I know one detox drink that does work (at least for THC). It is called The Liquid Stuff and it is definitely not just colored sugar water.

That being said I have no idea what kind of interaction it would have with suboxone.

I would suggest going to CVS and buying a drug screen home kit. After 3.5 weeks the THC might be completely gone from your system which would mean you don't even need the detox drink.

For what it is worth I 100% vouch for The Liquid Stuff allowing you to pass a THC drug test. Other than that I can't say.

You ever tried a bentonite clay? I use this one. It calms my mind quite nicely (which, to me, points in the direction that the gut is a big problem with me).

u/RacialAngel · 1 pointr/trees

I've used it ONCE before and passes a drug test. It's actually kind of tough to tell if it was the drink or just the working out I did.

I tried two of these (they recommend 1 but ya know), followed the directions and wound up passing. I did do like what you said and ran every day, barely ate anything fatty, and drank a metric ton of water too, so again it could have been that or the detox drink. Either way it got me into running and I've been doing it since.

From the second I smoked my last j to test time was about 10 days, and I was a daily smoker at that point.

Just my little anecdote.

Any place that sells glass pieces should carry it. They are pricy, about $20-$30. But if you fail you get a refund (from the good ones). You can also check amazon for detox drinks, like this one.

"Premier HCL" is vegan, and so is "Natural Factors Betaine HCL". Another route you could take would be to just buy the powder, e.g. from BulkSupplements.

BTW, Premier sells a separate supplement, "HCL Activator Premier", that has pepsin they claim is from a vegetarian source. I'm guessing this is either literally pepsin that's been made by bacteria (i.e. recombinant) or some natural fungal alternative/equivalent.

Yes, my foot fungus disappeared after about 8 weeks. In addition to Keto, I used this product.

I've only been on 1 cruise, but we used dark bottles and bought these. They ended up not even asking us to remove them from the bag...

I have IBS-C that was doing really well on a vegetarian diet (a.k.a. didn't need my medication), but when I started on keto everything went haywire. I didn't want to start my medication again and Metamucil, Benefiber and Miralax were useless, so I ordered this. I'm not gonna lie, it works. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the day, your plans and your distance from a bathroom. Just a thought, in case you wanted to flush your system while your body is getting itself back to normal.
