Okay, so something like this is good after I've filled the gaps with the 45? http://www.homedepot.com/p/SHEETROCK-Brand-All-Purpose-4-5-Gal-Pre-Mixed-Joint-Compound-380119048/100321605
Also, what the heck do I do about uneven walls? My studs were very uneven corner to corner and that top new greenboard piece probably extends a 1/8th of an inch over the bottom piece at some parts. Do I just take like regular and then keep mudding and feathering until that smooths over so it's not noticeable ?
Man I just feel totally unconfident on this, apparently I messed up a bunch of screws, I don't know why but I can't help but rip paper, even before the head is flush with the paper, I go in slow with my impact drive and it still rips. There's half inch gaps all over. It doesn't help that my first time was hanging 1/2 drywall with 1/4 shims along the studs to match a 3/4 plaster wall. Then that uneven part, I just feel like these walls are going to look like ass =/.
This was the tool I was using: https://www.amazon.com/Improvement-Phillips-Drywall-Screw-Setter/dp/B0051MQ72C but it can't lock into the impact driver, it just falls out, and I bought this extension that has that pull back just like on the impact driver, but on an extension, and it can't lock into that either..so I stopped using it.
My favorite are the toggles.

Self-drilling drywall anchor
The head of that is too big to be a screw.
Hello, not sure if this question even belongs in this sub, but maybe someone could teach me?

I recently bought these self-drilling drywall anchors but when I tried to put them in, the drill section of the anchor just... ripped out a lot of the drywall and left a big hole.
I ended up using the anchors that you just hammer into the wall and that was fine, but people on youtube seem to just screw the anchor into the wall without any issues. What am I doing wrong?

This is not the product I got but it looked a lot like this:
