I think Quizlet Teacher fits all of your criteria, as long as you're willing to pay $24.99 a year. Of course, most of these features are available to free accounts as well. I will put an asterisk by features that are exclusive to Quizlet Teacher.

  • You can upload audio*, photos*, and words

  • You can easily look at vocabulary lists, do flashcards, and do quizzes

  • You can create a class for easy access for your students, and you can link it, share it on social media, or search for it

  • It allows you to create your own lists

  • There are leaderboards for the Scatter and Gravity games

  • Available on IOS, Android, and Kindle Fire

  • Quizlet Teacher costs money, but student accounts are free (and as a bonus your students have no ads)*

  • Compatible with Google Classroom

  • You can view class and student data*

Of course, Quizlet is lacking in some areas. There aren't too many exciting features or ways to keep your students motivated. However, personally I find Quizlet very useful, and it sounds like it has the features that you want.

Disclaimer - I'm an Android app developer.

My son is 2 years old and has a Kindle Fire. Here is a list of his current apps (these are all on Amazon, but you can find the same apps on Google Play):

Angry Birds by Rovio.

Lulu in the Amazon by Zanzibook.

Abby Basic Skills by 22Learn.

Monkey Preschool Lunchbox by THUP

Monkey Mathschool Sunshine by THUP

Monkey Wordschool Adventure by THUP

Monkey Preschool Fixit by THUP

My PlayHome by Shimon Young

Dr. Panda's Daycare by TribePlay

Dr. Panda's Beauty Salon by TribePlay

Starfall All About Me by Starfall Education, LLC

Beck and Bo by Avokiddo

Emotions by Avokiddo

Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games by Kevin Bradford

We also have an iPad 2, but our son vastly prefers the Kindle. Google and Amazon honestly seem to have better apps and controls for kids available than Apple.

Here's my app - my son is a little too young to play it yet, apparently, but I keep holding out hope. It's appropriate for all ages - here it is on Google Play.

I would expect that some of the free apps are repeats, but if you miss them being free the first time...

More interested in what app is the $64.99 one for free?

Going to guess this one. http://www.amazon.com/Muscular-System-Manual-Skeletal-Muscles/dp/B007MCZQQ2/ref=sr_1_10?s=mobile-apps&ie=UTF8&qid=1419290420&sr=1-10

Not sure about the iphone but on Android there are some good calculator apps.
One I got a while ago works pretty well and I bet it would be a help to pre cal students.

Question: Does anyone know if you "buy" these apps then uninstall them, can you install them again at anytime free of charge?
u/kiponator Β· 2 pointsr/Astronomy

Get Stellarium for your PC.

It's free and it is a big help getting you oriented to the night sky.

I also like Sky Safari if you have an iPad, I think the entry version is like $3. If you have an Android device there are some functionally equivalent programs like Star Chart that work on the same premise although it is less polished (also $3).

Basic algebra is pretty easy to learn when you sit down to do it. Just because you aren't good at it now doesn't mean you can't get good at it. I would check amazon for a basic high school algebra text book and go from there. This one is for middle grades and is less than $10 (US). This one has a lot of worked out examples. This one is free for an android device.

Good luck to you. Hit me up if you have a question! I'm not a math professor, but I am a chemistry professor and I minored in math, so I may be able to help.

My iOS template currently sucks https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/name-that-plane/id567629834?mt=8 ,but I have a guy working on it. It also takes 2 weeks to get an iOS app approved if everything is perfect.
EDIT: you can test drive via web here

I say you guys plan a midnight hike and picnic. You will need this free sky map for stargazing and some headlamps, like this one.

Pack a little basket of sandwiches and drinks and set out to star gaze! It'll be romantic just the two of you and you can maybe see some really cool stuff!

I have a few camping-related items on my WLs and I have the same headlamp on my $5-$10 WL.

Hey Reddit,

A beginner developer here, and I'm presenting one of my recent projects. ISS Tracker is a free & open source Android application that lets you keep track of the International Space Station and astronauts on duty. The app comes with a notification system for when ISS approaches your location and an estimate of how long before it reaches. For future options, I'll be looking at providing widgets so that the tracking could also be moved to the homepage.

The app contains ads but can be disabled from settings without any purchase.

> Get both of those printouts from both tests and make an aggregated list of objectives he's fallen short on (many of them might be the same objectives from both tests) and focus your efforts on those.

This is probably the best thing you can do. . Darril Gibsons N+ app was very helpful for me in passing the N+ you can buy the apps individually .

I can't personally vouch for this as I haven't used it much, but it has good reviews.

I have been working with apps like this one, and they have really helped in working with children on the autism spectrum. Anger management is not specifically what you are looking for, but if you take a look at the description I pulled from amazon:

"Calm Counter starts up with an β€œI need a break screen” that vocalizes β€œI need a break” when tapped. The screen then transitions to a red screen with an angry face and the number ten. With each tap, the screen transitions to a calmer face and color. In this way, the app prompts the user to count backwards from ten followed by a deep breath. "

You will know what I am talking about. A gradual build up from I need a break, to the red face is something that works wonders. And you don't have the hurt feelings that are associated with a person correcting you.

edit: this one as well
