Reddit mentions: The best erotic mystery books

Hello Ladies...
I posted a while back and quoted my southern Aunt "It's better to be the thoroughbred who dressed for the party than the mule who didn't."
Some of you liked the quote and I explained I was in the midst of writing a novel and weaving as many of her mantras as possible into the story line.
'One August Thistle' is taking much longer to complete than I expected. Needing to sustain myself along the way I've made my (gulp) foray into women's erotic fiction. It's the highest selling and fastest growing genre on Amazon and I need to eat.
My offering is quite tame when compared to what's available and I am proud that I was able to weave an intriguing mystery together with decently developed characters into romance and steamy scenes.
Virgin Regrets is an Ebook and it's available for less than a cup of coffee. It's around the ten thousand word mark, so good value.
I am new to this genre and as such have no fan base to drive sales.
I am hopeful my request that anyone with an interest will purchase Virgin Regrets will be viewed for what it is, a means to complete a serious work of fiction.

Hey Rose just wanted to tell you Kitty Thomas' Comfort Food is free right now! It is not serial killer but it is gorgeously dark and a good example of structure for a dark romance.

A long time ago, a friend told me of her relationship that was one-sided.

It took a while for the wisdom of her approach to sink in. With that statement, she was owning her feelings, and also declaring that she alone had rights to that ownership of her point of view. The statement reflected a decision she had made for herself, and allowed the other person to own their behavior, good and bad.

While I've done some research and written a book that touches on this, I'm not an expert and certainly not a professional. But I think you have no choice but to open up to the other that the relationship as structured is not working for you.

That it's not working will become obvious eventually. The longer you wait, the more bitter the parting will be and the less likely the friendship will survive.

You won't be able to dictate their response, nor how they feel, nor anything else. That's okay. You are not responsible to do so. In that lies the freedom granted by honesty.

If there's group sex, definitely throw menage in for one of the keywords. I don't know if mfm, mmf, fmm will work, I have mmf as one of mine for this book. But it also has a few fire fighters in it, so I'm not sure exactly what keyword is attracting the readers.

For what it's worth it is the best selling book I have.

THIS IS SO HARD. I've been marketing this dark romance fantasy novel for the past 3 years and it's been such a struggle to gain any traction in sales. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to best market this book and get it in the hands of some good readers? I'm strugglin'!
