21. Sola Sweet Oat Bread – Low Carb, Low Calorie, Reduced Sugar, 5g Protein Per Slice – 14 OZ Loaf of Sandwich Bread (Pack of 2)

    Features:
  • Sola Sweet Oat Bread - The low carb bread that rises to your flavor expectations!
  • LOWER NET CARBS: The new low-carb Sola bread is now 2 net carbs per slice (Golden Wheat, Sweet & Buttery, Deliciously Seeded) with one bread flavor, Sweet Oat, coming in at 2 net carbs per slice. We have made it a point to lower our net carb count yet keep the taste you know and love of Sola bread. Using a mixture of arrowroot flour and defatted soy flour we have crafted a mix that allows us to lower the carb count in our breads, without sacrificing taste.
  • 0G OF SUGAR: We officially have 0g of sugar in every flavor of bread. We use a mixture of low-carb sweeteners such as erythritol and stevia leaf extract to help create the fluffy texture you know and love. You’ll no longer need to worry about any sugar in our breads and instead, just choose what level of sweetness you want. Our non-sweet bread flavors include Golden Wheat and Deliciously Seeded. Meanwhile, the sweeter breads are Sweet & Buttery with the sweetest bread being Sweet Oat.
  • 3 FLAVORS ARE PLANT-BASED: Some of our users are avid followers of a low-carb, plant-based lifestyle. Our previous formula had tagatose and dairy, which made it non-vegan and wasn’t compatible with those with a more plant-focused lifestyle. After going back to the drawing board, we wanted to give them some options when it came to our bread. We were able to convert three of our loaves of bread to plant-based ingredients which are: Golden Wheat, Deliciously Seeded, and Sweet Oat.
  • Enjoy Sola low-carb & low calorie bread that allows you to eat your favorites without losing any of the taste!

I agree that "supposed to" is a vague/unclear/hazy concept. I agree that I "arrange my life in the environment [I'm] thrown into". I agree that when the game changes it can be unpleasant. I feel stupid to other yet justified to myself for wanting to work through my issues. I feel stupid in front of my therapist but wish I could be more vulnerable without his use of the word "dude" or accepting my weirdness and working through it. I have been looking at other therapists but right now I'm typing this message because I'd rather get this message out than let the comment go by for 6 months and not have a chance to respond to a thoughtful/candid comment.

Frozen food wise, when I lived in Maryland, we had Safeway so sometimes I would buy the Safeway eating right brand meals, sometimes Lean cuisine lemon chicken with rice and broccoli and years ago trader Joe's had frozen rice bowls that don't currently exist:

What do you have regarding frozen meals. I'm wondering now, like, since I live in Florida, if maybe frozen meal variety arent as abundantly available as up north maybe because the hotter temperatures mean products could spoil on the drive home or if the freezer is accidentally cracked open... whereas in Maryland sometimes in the winter I left frozen dinners in my trunk during work when it was in the 20s outside lol. So maybe they just don't carry as much variety.

Lean cuisine lightly breaded lemon chicken patties with rice and brocolli: (doesn't exist in Palm Beach county Florida) https://www.amazon.com/Lean-Cuisine-Comfort-Chicken-Frozen/dp/B000RABADY

Also...talking about changes in life, I don't know if there's anything other than talking, living, texting, communicating, exercise, health, nutrition I can do to feel better about the different house we moved to, but maybe type about it on Reddit or talk about it with my therapist. But I don't like that the house that we live in now, how my dad's den has a large window looking directly out onto the driveway where I park my car. And the glass front door also does the same. I'm just used to the house we lived in before where the house was elongated perpendicular to the street as opposed to the current house which is more parallel to the street. Of course regarding exercise, now my right heel has issues I can still stationary bike and dad says the other day "you should swim everyday" now that we're closer to a pool. But the "you should do XYZ" kind of takes away the feeling of like, doing things on my own which grinds my gears for some reason

Making sandwich bread is tough. If you aren’t too burdened by a budget, there are several options to buy loves online (Sola Bread comes to mind) and I hear they keep well/toast well from the freezer.

As for baking, I’ve used this recipe with mixed results: Diet Doctor Keto Bread

Personally, I’ve taken to rolling up my sandwich fixings in a leaf of iceberg (or just rolling the meat around the cheese) for convenience. I’ve heard collard greens make a great wrap too though since they’re more flexible!

There's a lot of different flavors! The vanilla sandwiches & neapolitan sandwiches are the most common. Our favorites are mint chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, & cookies & cream. And here's a link to a build your own variety pack that's really great: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QLJFN8V/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_aSQQDbNB00V5Y

NOTE: I'm not a professional chef. Personally, I think this would be so much better with seitan but I'm too lazy to make it, and also have never done it before. I use Gardein chicken as a lazy substitute. This is enough for 2 people at our place, but it could easily feed 3 or 4.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bag Gardein meatless chicken strips
  • 1/4 cup (or more, honestly) Bibigo gochujang, or any gochujang
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce, or just eyeball it. You want enough so that the veggies don't get dry while simmering.
  • Eyeball how much you want of Birds Eye frozen stir-fry vegetables
  • 2 tablespoons of hot pepper flakes (gochu-garu) (we got it at hmart)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced (i just use the pre-minced ones and do a few scoops)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced (optional, tbh)
  • Tiny tiny amount of olive oil
  • splash of sprite

    PRE-STEPS

  1. Mix the soy sauce, gochu-garu, black pepper, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and sprite into a bowl.
  2. Start cooking your rice

    REAL STEPS

  3. Put olive oil in the pan at med-high heat and just dump that sucker of gardein meatless chicken strips in there
  4. Let it cook for a few minutes and flip halfway through. Be careful not to burn it, but sometimes it tastes better at the end if you burn it a little lol.
  5. Cut the strips into halves and then dump all the frozen veggies you want into the pan
  6. Dump your pre-mixed bowl into the pan
  7. Squirt (if bibigo) the gochujang stuff all around, feel free to get generous. I think I squeeze it around for like 5 seconds. You can't go wrong with this step and you may need to trial and error it over a few attempts. If you are using "real" gochujang, just a few scoops is good. The recipe I mimicked calls for 1/4 cup.
  8. Stir everything together and cover mostly with a lid, but give it some room for the vapor to be released.
  9. Leave this for about 20min, coming back to stir every 5-6min or so. You can stop once it looks less like a soup and is more solid.

RUSSIAN BEAR 5000

lmao its a weight gainer with 5000 calories per serving. But iirc, every serving is like 5 scoops in a gallon of milk. So obviously doing a fraction of a serving is a way to add a lot of calories to your diet. And its fairly cheap by protein powder standards.

As with any supplement I would add to do your own research beforehand.

Get a MOCA adapter if you have a coax (cable) connector in the room. Most ISP’s routers support MOCA. (Comcast, Spectrum, COX) in my experience so far. It’s very close to Ethernet speeds. Better than WiFi and EOP for sure.

MOCAadapter$69

Power line is trash, high amperage loads on the same breaker will make you lag, like when momma makes those dank ass pizza bites in the microwave.

Bulk Dank Pizza bites $82

Clear choice

Hey man, I just did that last night. White chocolate raspberry truffle is the best.

Agreed the image doesn't make sense, it should read "the first decision"

My wife is a fan of Talenti gelato, and I've been using the empty pints as containers. They're convenient if you also want a nice treat 🙃.

u/funchords · 3 pointsr/loseit

I'd believe 500 too ... it's hard to know ... but 150 error bar in a week where you'll eat 8500-14000 calories isn't anything much.

u/rodion_kjd · 8 pointsr/AskCulinary

That's a picture of a commercial, pre-packaged product known as "tater tots."

http://www.amazon.com/McCain-Versitots-Tater-Potato-Pound/dp/B00B04DTPI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1394477133&sr=8-1&keywords=tater+tots

If you want crispy potatoes, I really like cooking them in pork fat. The Food Lab did a nice article on in a while ago:

Does the new cookies and cream have a different packaging? How do I know if I'm buying the new or old version?

Edit: For those curious: Ok, I figured it out. The new and old flavors have different macros. The halo top website lists the cookies and cream macros as 2.5/16/5 (fat/carb/protein), whereas myfitnesspal and Amazon (
which have old/non-updated information) list the macros as 2.5/14/6.

So the new flavor has 16 carbs and 5 protein per serving, whereas the old version has 14 carbs and 6 protein. That's how you can tell the difference before you buy it.

California Pizza Kitchen has a frozen thin crust margherita for under 600 calories for the WHOLE pizza (570), that and digornios ultra thin pizza (540) are my favorites when I need real pizza and not my edalternatives lol

Oooh, where'd you get the recipe? And do you know the macros for them? I sometimes have Mikey's Muffins which have 7 g fat, 5 g protein, and only 1 net carb. I'd love to make my own.

u/BabyThatsMyJam · 7 pointsr/diabetes

Can pre make something like these (no bread):
http://dailydishrecipes.com/bacon-egg-muffin-cups-src/

You can also make a breakfast burrito and microwave it in the AM. Eggs, bell pepper, maybe some sausage, green onion, mushroom, and wrap it with something like this. Less carbs and a lot of fiber too! Also has basically the recipe I listed on the back now that I look.

At work I use something like this. I buy it wholesale so it ends up being closer to $16 per container. Don’t be put off by the ‘frozen’ part of it, it’s of great quality and is 100% fruit.

I found them! These are my fave!

Costco has riced cauliflower, but their ricing is on the chunkier side. You can also order riced cauliflower through Amazon Fresh for like $2.00 a bag if they deliver in your area.

I LOVED the octagonal Mexican pizza our school served. I often consider buying a box of them but never have. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018SRL6KY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_VgoRDbAFJM6RB

Northern burbs? Chanticlear. It's the type that's heavy on the lettuce so if you're looking for the "school lunch" sort of taco pizza, look elsewhere.
