Good Stuff I use this and it works pretty good. I always go over my windows twice. It takes it all off the first time but I like it nice and clean.

One of those magnet cleaning things might help, but only if your windows crack, which many in NYC do not. They don't need to fully open, just enough to get your hand out.

To add to this. After cleaning with the glass cleaner and paper towels, buff the windows with a dry microfiber towel.

The linked items are what I use. I found windex would just smear the film around and I'd have to wash and buff the windows several times, but the above works well in 1 pass unless I've gone a while since a cleaning, then it will need 2, which is still a lot better than 4-5 Windex treatments to get it all off.

The lazy-answer is resinate truly does gods work instantly.. I use plastic wrap on the ends and give it a few turns upside down and always have a clean boii with minimal effort.

This is why I own a snowmobile suit, snowmobile boots, thanos-level heated gloves and a closed-front helmet. It's a little bulky, like flying in a sleeping bag, but you get some scenery in winter you don't get int summer months.
Just be sure to grab some anti-fog for your helmet. Tempted to buy some skis for takeoffs/landings/foot-drags.

I tried several different glass cleaners and this is the only one I found that worked on vape haze. It works well.

You are cleaning the vat and build plate after every failure right? After any failure you'll likely have a thin film of cured resin on the FEP that you must get off.

I've been using this stuff called sprayway to clean my build plate and it does a fantastic job. See Amazon link at end.

Sanding your build plate is a pretty extreme step and I'd only suggest it if you are sure it is that the plate is too smooth.

You can get failures if you don't have enough of a bottom layer vs the upper layers, rafts may help there. Failures can also be due to nto curing your bottom layers long enough.

For all those failed prints what exactly happens? Do you have nothing sticking or does it work for like half the print and then detach?

I use Sprayaway, no streaks, even in cold temps. You can get a 4 pack of cans at Costco or Sams Club for $8. I vape with my window cracked a good amount, but even my driver side window gets pretty damn vapey.

Well I’m not gonna apply stickers to dirty glass! Lol.

In all seriousness though, get this stuff. Game changer.

I use Windex Electronics Wipes. People say not to use Windex on screens and such, but I've never had any issues with these.

try this out, the acetone works wonders and contains an abrasive agent.

This. Just be very careful... the magnets are simultaneously way too strong and way too weak and can either pinch your fingers terribly or fall off the window.

Otherwise you need a new windshield. With many insurance companies your glass is covered under comp at a much lower deductible than collision. Mine is $100... Would be terrible if a rock cracked it tomorrow
