(Part 2) Reddit mentions: The best jeans for women

I got them on Amazon! They are one of my favorite pairs of jeans I’ve ever owned! I had been in desperate need of new jeans for a couple months and was putting off buying them, but these fit like a dream. (The reviews and my experience recommend sizing up!)

I’m waiting for my first big goal of a normal weight of 158 to do a full body/face set. I was just so excited to button these because I bought them a month before I started losing. This was the biggest size available in these jeans. Hoping they will fit like the picture sometime soon!

Really, if you're with comfortable with $140 it's probably about the best you'll do until the fall, unless you get lucky stacking with a sitewide sale or something. It's worth a try if you have free shipping and returns to at least see if you like the fit, then you can stalk it with a deal alert. That's what I'd do, but I'm a deal-hunter.

Edit: If you're looking at the pair on sale at Nordstrom, use Ebates. Nordstrom has 6% back right now. They're $134 at Nordstrom, so that would get you down to about $126?

I just bought these and am loving that decision. They are trouser style and have all normal jean pockets. True to size. Measure your widest part (hip or tummy) and buy the size that fits that waist measurement.

If you need something dressier, I've heard good things about beta brand. They are pricey, and my work is more casual, so I opted for jeggings to wear with boots and the Rekucci jeans.

madewell has a few. I have these and love them. Also, believe it or not, Gloria Vanderbilt. My GV jeans came from Costco about six years ago, but those mothers have a loooong rise. I see them there all the time but can't be sure they're cut exactly the same now. But worth a try! Edit: here and here they are on Amazon, pretty sure. (Cuff them and they don't look so dated.)

I haven't had that specific cut but I've had a few pairs of black jeans and jeggings from Levi's. I have the same ankle issues and the 535 leggings fit well in that respect, the ones I have now, not so much.

Both pairs of jeggings faded in about a year, the jeans seem to be less prone to that. Didn't have any issues with either stretching out.

I can't decide if I should purchase these jeans in a size 26 or 27. I can just zip the 26s up, but they're extremely tight everywhere, especially in the waist and thighs. The 27s are much more comfortable overall, but there's a small gap in the back of the waist, and I'm worried about them stretching out. I already have these in a 26, but they're a different blend and weren't as uncomfortable as the other 26 when I first bought them (they did stretch out a bit, but not overly so).

Does anyone have any experience with similar Paige jeans stretching or not stretching out? For reference, the ones I'm contemplating are 90% cotton, 6% elastomultiester, and 4% elastane. Thanks!

Prana have my favorite fit. They're about a 36" inseam. I've pretty much gotten rid of my old navy and american eagle jeans since finding out about theirs. Depending on your size, they're sometimes fairly cheap on amazon.

Colored, thin denim jeans like these look a little classier, IMO, and are more comfortable than, say, Levis.

Linen and linen/viscose blend trousers. I have this exact pair.

Long Tall Sally and some places on Amazon.com have been where I've been able to find jeans long enough after some lengthy navigation. I recently purchased these and they run a little longer than stated. I wear a 36" or 37" inseam and theses fit me perfectly (Size 12). I have tried the Banana Republic petite pants which work but are still not as high as I would like. Same thing with the Old Navy and Target pants.
