I stopped wearing my engagement ring and wedding band for the same reason. I found my band and it fit! Aaaaand now it's loose. Lost the e-ring though, whoops...

If your wedding band is loose, you can use something like this to get you by for a while. After that it's best to get it re-sized, fortunately that isn't too expensive (ballpark $50), most rings* can be brought down 1 - 2 sizes. After that it's time for a new ring, lol. If you work with your hands a lot, you might want to look at getting another silicone band, though, because they're flexible and therefore very comfortable, and can be safer than traditional metal rings. (*Titanium, tungsten, etc can't be resized.)

They get a bit grubby after a week or so, I went through quite a lot. But for the six months of my engagement they worked out fine. :)

I had a pair that didn’t improve with adding things to the back, but did improve with these things that go in the toe. They come in a variety of shapes (round, pointed, etc). And they ship prime!!

I have some items that can't be resized. I'm still losing so they are handy. Be sure to check your vehicle. They can fall in between the seats.

Keep in mind that the sizers are thin and if he gets a wider band, it would fit slightly more snug.

I use mandrels. Here is a mini one and here is a larger one that I use. I have used wooden dowels in the past to help achieve a certain roundness.

There are bands that go around the bottom of the ring to make them smaller - here is a link to what I'm talking about. They also come in plastic and a bunch of other shapes and sizes. Hope this helps!

Honestly getting her shit faced might be the best option. You can order a ring sizer offline for really cheap.

We just ordered my ring and we had such a hard time figuring out my size without that, and I was 100% in on it.

This may be useful for you, it was for me.

$7 on Amazon, take one of her rings and try to match as closely as possible throughout all the combinations. Eventually you will come very close, maybe one or two sizes off, but by barely.

I have the same issue and got these ring size adjusters off Amazon that work perfect! They keep my diamond on top and you can just pull them off if your knuckle is in one of its sausage phases. It looks a little strange on the under side of your finger, but no one ever notices and I don't feel it at all.
