I have the Kamik Jennifer rain boots and I love them. They lasted me all winter in Chicago this year in place of snow boots. They have a pretty solid construction which is great. They fit true to size, which means you probably want to size up if you want room for thicker socks. They're almost as high as the Hunter boots at 15", and have a wider calf size than the Hunters if that's something you're looking for.

Also, if you are interested in Hunters. Some colors are on sale for $98 right now, which is in your price range.

If you live in a snowy climate, you may find yourself grabbing for rainboots more than you expect in the wintertime.

I have a couple - including a pair of Bean boots that are supposed to ship on the 20th and OMFG IS IT TIME YET?
My other go-to's are a pair of flat, zip-back tan off brand boots that I found online for $40 3 years ago and are the comfiest thing ever; a pair of Clarks Mojita Crush in cognac; and a pair of Middleburg tall boots which I wear freaking everywhere, barn included, and are incredibly comfortable and practical. I also have a pair of the new Ariat Good Times boot, after 3 years looking for the perfect cowboy boot. The Clarks are reserved for dressier days and going out, but the cheapo zip ups are a good alternative when I don't want heels but want to look like I tried. The Middleburgs are ridiculously practical and I still get a ton of compliments when I wear them with leggings and a nice sweater, or my button-down Chambray tunic and nice accessories.

When I used to live in NY I had about 3-4 different pairs of Timberland boots for the winter. All of the ones I had were the Nellie style but the Earthkeepers Grandby Tall Fleece-Lined Boot looks really nice and it's waterproof. You really want to have something that has a good grip to deal with ice (or black ice) and the occasional snow hills. Since sidewalks and streets tend to get cleaned up really quickly, a good pair of sneakers with a good grip will suffice.

Hello FFA, I need help finding boots for my girlfriend. She specifically wants black leather boots with little to no heel, no buckles or straps but for people with skinny legs. Every boot I come across has a wide opening like these. Can you help me find boots like these for skinny legs?

Edit: she's looking for knee high boots under the knee.
Edit 2: thanks for the replies everyone. I think we found a pair that she likes!

Hit nordstrom rack yesterday and was SO lucky to find a pair of Keen boots that actually fit, and aren't ugly as sin! And adorable brown/black Born heels! All my other shoes are tennis shoes and sandals (lol thx arthritis), I'm SO excited to be able to wear skirts this winter. Now on to finding leggings/boot socks!

Not quite as BIFL as Red Wing (my roommate's Clara boots are still kicking ass after many years of rough barn use), but I've had great success with Clark's boots. I've had this pair for about 6 years now, and they still look halfway decent despite the fact that they've survived four Chicago winters and a four month stint of nearly daily wear in a Middle Eastern winter (think constant dust) as well. New styles retail for around $200 but as you can see older styles are still available online for cheap.

There's a reason I have a "When I'm Rich" list on Amazon. I dream about this stuff all the time.

My imaginary purchase would totally be these boots.

And I really really want the "Fairy Tales Do Come True" necklace because I feel it's true in my life. I'm with the man of my dreams :) I'm cool with any of them, but that's my favorite. It all looks cool.

For meeeee:

-Frye Pippa boots All Frye boots are classics that you can wear forever, IMO.

-Pusheen stuff A stuffed Pusheen or a reading Pusheen something would be just the thing!)

-Chiaogoo Twist Interchangeable Needle set - 4" tips Good for when I go on a small-scale items knitting kick.

-Chiaogoo Spin Interchangeable Needle set - 5" bamboo tips I have the stainless steel set and sometimes I can't stand the metallic clicking/scraping noises.

-Portable Bluetooth Speaker with rechargeable battery Good for playing my music while I shower, so I don't have to bring my laptop into the bathroom anymore.

-More Chiaogoo cables for my IC sets = more projects!

-Yarn, LOTS of yarn! = more projects!

-New Petco stainless steel bowls/bases for the cats. Less breakable than the ceramic bowls we're using now.

-A new interview suit and business casual work clothes, since I'll be job hunting soon. :(

-Botkier Valentina crossbody Cute and easy to wear with anything.

-Botkier Trigger in plain black leather, not python. For when I'm feeling badass ... which I'm not, at all.

-Gift cards to pet stores, to feed the 4 Sarlaccs... I mean, furry gaping maws of 4 cats that never stop eating.

Things I want to buy for SO:

-RC helicopter Kind of like a drone, with no camera! I'd love to see him fly it around while the cats chase it/cower in terror.

-Friday Afternoon art print We're Star Wars fans in this house.

Keen makes some beautiful leather boots that have wonderful support. I would recommend this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RKJI87Q/ref=twister_B00U2VLERU

I'm currently in the market to buy a new pair of tall black/grey boots that are professional office friendly. I had bought a pair of these Vince Camuto boots a few years ago, and returned them when I found out I was pregnant (I had heard of pregnancy completely changing one's foot size), I wasn't entirely sure they had fit correctly either. Anyway, I have been trying to find them again with no luck in my size. I love the shape of the boot and the detailing on it. I found these boots and these boots at nordstrom rack and I am not quite sure if I am happy with how they look on me. I've been scouring all the shoe stores at the mall and I'm really not finding anything I want, I'm really picky about my boots (am/was an equestrian, so yeah). I have no idea where to look. Do they put out new styles for the winter as well?

Here you go

I originally bought these for the cosplay but I love them so much I wear them irl now. Definitely recommend.

http://www.zappos.com/product/7860157/color/3 <--- have one sour review, but eh, Zappos has a great return policy if you have poor luck, too

http://www.zappos.com/frye-veronica-lace-tall-black-pebbled-full-grain-suede <--- whoah, expensive, but have some shoe porn anywho

Zappos has a pretty good search filter if you wanna play with 'em a little. I just plugged in black knee high boots with a lowish heel.

u/wonger · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

Does anyone know where i can buy these boots? I want to buy them as a gift for my SO but this isnt her size and shes says she cant find them anywhere online. Any help to find these boots would be awesome!

p.s. Her size is 8.5 M US

u/WeddingLemur · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

Oh, ok, then these are fantastic (got the link this time) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013X0SX34/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They are my favorite boots. FYI, the calf area stretches out after you wear them the first time, so don't stress if they don't zip all the way up the first time. It took me one wearing to get them to loosen up enough to fit my calves.
