We have the Enbrighten puck lights around our pond and they're awesome. I've purchased several LEDs for the pond/garden over the years, but these Enbrightens are the best. However, they come in 6 pack and may be overkill depending on your size.

We have some flame bulbs as well, but those are better suited for Halloween, in my opinion.

You're probably going to have to build it yourself. There are theater spotlights or similar that run on... DMX, if I recall my high school theater tech stuff, that'd do the effect too... but they ain't cheap. Here's an example. You'd also need a DMX control board to go that route... And DMX programming can be a bit of a rough learning curve. If you're interested, here's a quick DMX intro.

Honestly, if I were attacking this for my own project, I'd dig around a bit for something like these cheap floodlights, gut them and put my own addressable LEDs in the housing. That'd let me get full control over color and still have reasonable waterproofing, reflector, etc. While you could do it with RGB or RGBW straight LEDs, I'd still honestly use addressables like WS2812s - they're just easier to work with when it comes to running wire and controlling brightness/color. Even if you're addressing whole blocks of them at a time...

We're not doing a camp wedding (although we looked into it). But can I come?!! All this sounds awesome!

For the pathway lights you could get solar lights and not have to worry about running power.

Flashlights is a great idea. Or bug spray. Maybe you can provide a packing list?

I think beer bottles might be easier if you have multiple drinking locations. It also offers a little more variety (esp. if you have craft beer snobs).

And I LOVE the dueling pianos idea. I didn't know you could get those folks to come onsite! Do they bring their own pianos?

Edit: donuts > cake - especially if you were to get one of those onsite donut makers who makes them hot and fresh.

i bought outdoor solar lights, you can find some good ones on amazon depending on how strong you want them to be, i got a $30 one that works great but if you want more powerer theres a great $100 one also

We camp quite a bit in the cold. With it raining you are trapped inside. Puzzles and games. Use movies as rewards. I've had good luck with these .

Not sure if they'd be the right style for your yard but they come in black and silver. My yard gets a good amount of sun during the day and typically when I wake up in the mornings around 7 they are still faintly glowing. Well made, replaceable batteries, like how they attach to the stake, but I've only had them for a couple months so can't attest to durability.

Very nice, a nice touch would be IMO this little solar powered lights. A friend of mine bought some and they look really nice.

Yeah, the WDR settings might help a bit, but I find that the image quality suffers at night w/ it turned on. So I only use it on one or two cameras during the day that face shaded + sunlit areas.

 

I've got a very good "color nightvision" camera (dahua 4239) that would almost work in your situation, but it too would get washed-out by the direct light from those bulbs. I've got one above my driveway and most of the illumination comes from a street light ~ 100 feet away. Luckily, that light is mostly blocked by a tree because otherwise, it looks like the sun is shining at night!

 

Since the camera appears to be mounted above the fence by several feet, any way to put some kind of shade over the bulbs? Probably more cost/effort than it's worth... but something shaped like this to keep the light from shining directly at the camera:

We've used the MineTom brand for projects before, never used the other brand. They're sweet because they're on wire, so they're shapable and will hold their shape fairly well.

Edit: Slightly more than $30 for the lights I guess. I also had a japanese parasol, a sweet cat in the hat hat and socks on that order. lol

Thanks. Definitely a learning process. I used these lightsJust drilled a hole in the spindle control box, and wired them to 110v Power. Used the OEM holes in the spindle head to mount. Now they provide the perfect amount of light. Sorry, no build thread...but just search mini mill X2 CNC conversion.. lot of info out there. Cheers!

They are the best I've found so far easily. They turn on at night dimly and then light up bright when there's motion near them. Either way they are always much brighter than any other solar led path light I have found

For driveway markers, this sort of thing. That one has a 400 mAh NiMH battery, which is likely AA size and could be replaced with a higher capacity. Some have Li-ion batteries, which are often 18650 size and also well below the capacity of the best performers in that size. 18650 provides considerably higher maximum capacity. Linking this product is intended only as an example, not an endorsement.

To read in a tent, I'd use a headlamp - probably this one, which also runs on an 18650. To light the whole tent, I'd use something like this with a diffuser like this and a string tied to it to hang it from the top. Also 18650-powered. Some cheaper 18650-powered flashlights and headlamps would also do the trick, but these are nice.

Easiest outdoor lighting is using something like these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076M172VM . Solar power with motion sensors. I use these for one side of my house to light up the walk way to the garbage cans. Been up for over a year and still work great. There all kinds of solar powered lighting. So should be able to find something that will work for your needs.

She needs a bunch of these all over the place in front of the men.
