Thanks for the tip bro! I think you are right. I wasn’t sure micro measuring scales existed so I purchased this:

https://www.amazon.com/SuperDosing-Static-Free-Micro-Variety-Milligram/dp/B0764KFFVP

It arrived yesterday and is pretty convenient. I’ve loaded up 30mg. I’ll slowly work my way up the scale each time. I dont think I’ve had a breakthrough yet. I guess I’d know. Haven’t seen entities but just in passing through and in my peripheral vision.

The Yocan is just brilliant for spice and incredibly efficient. I am wondering if I should purchase a cartridge next. I have found someone that has clear dmt for vape. (Never seen that before)

My boyfriend has the oxo good grips brand. They snap together instead of being connected by a ring which is super convenient.

Edit: Forgot to mention they come with a straight edge piece for leveling your measurements off!

L-theanine (amino acid found in tea) helps significantly with anxiety and over-caffeination. It can be bought in bulk powder inexpensively on Amazon and easily dosed with this or similar mini-measuring spoons. I take a level 1/8th teaspoon with every cup of coffee I drink. In all technicality, you want a 4:1 ratio of L-theanine:caffeine for optimal smoothing out of stimulation.

I'm interested in the answers, because after switching to stainless steel cookware, I'd like to replace more of my silicone utensils with wood. I found these adorable wood measuring spoons on amazon, but I can't vouch for them yet:

I have two 1 teaspoon spoons this one avg is 1.5g and a Betty Crocker one avg is 2.3g

edit: my therapist and bank account will be happy that I bought a scale last week as I was avg the doses as 2.5g

It's not marked, but I just tested and my Hario scoop holds 3 tablespoons of water. Here's a couple links:

https://www.amazon.com/Hario-Coffee-Measuring-Copper-M-12cp/dp/B00OH7SILA/

https://www.amazon.com/Hario-V60-Measuring-Spoon-Silver/dp/B00GRRRX0K/

Would still very highly advise not relying on the scoop to be accurate and also weighing. I get dramatically different weights for a scoop of different coffees, and often even the same coffee.

you can do the same with metric.
1 ml ≈ 1/4 tsp (little less) , 2 ml ≈ 1/2 tsp (little less), 5 ml ≈ 1 tsp (almost exactly), 15ml ≈ 1 tbsp (almost exactly), 25ml ≈ 2 tbsp (lot less)
it's just as easy to say "add 10ml of baking soda" as "add 2 tsp of baking soda"
the difference comes when you need to multiply that recipe by 10 for all the guests. no way you're converting tsp to cups (it's 48, btw: you'll need 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp + 2 tsp), so you're adding 20 tsp.
meanwhile, metric has graduated measuring cups so you can just fill it to 100 ml
if you prefer filling a cup to the top, amazon has you covered there too

You can find way better coke spoons on Amazon

I use tiny little metal measuring spoons I received as a gift.

u/R35VR38DETT · 3 pointsr/CasualConversation

>"tsp", Christ, what next, a pinch of this powder and about a bite of this pill?

I'm guessing you're not from the US ("bloody" gave it away!). I agree that the label is poorly done, however a teaspoon is an actual discrete measurement (.167 ounces or 5 ml). Most measuring spoons/cups will include one for teaspoons, usually labeled as tsp. Zoom in on these spoons and you'll be able to see all of the labels.

I imagine folks who use the metric system would find it strange...Well, it is strange, but anyway a "pinch" is not a discrete measurement and a teaspoon is.

Sure! These are a cheap option, but there are also metal ones or other colors.

Until we in the US get on the metric train, you could order a set of US measuring cups on Amazon or something. They are usually cheap. I purchased a kitchen scale so that I can make recipes from the rest of the damn world.
