Corsair does sell white keycaps so you can swap them on a normal K70 MK2. Kinda an expensive solution though. There are other sets of keycaps like HyperX Pudding with the caveat that your two windows keys, your spacebar, and the key to the right of the right windows key will not fit.

"Pudding" is the name of that style keycap. Solid top with translucent bottom.

So I'm going with a Ducky One 2 RGB TKL keyboard (most likely) but I wanted white key caps to match my setup theme and maybe something to make the RGB pop a bit more (but at minimum that lets it shine through the lettering) . I don't want to spend buckets of money on them but want something good enough to hold up.

I was looking at these: YMDK Shine Through and Hyper X Shine Through

Both seem to highlight the RGB a bit more and are very low costing. So my question is -- what are people's experiences with these brands and as someone who is not very picky about keycap feel would they be decent?

If not I would love some white keycap suggestions, preferably under the $50 price point.

I know Hyperx sells pudding keycaps, I've only seen black and white ones. If I were you, I would buy a full white keycap set on amazon. And the AMD Wraith is very good, similar temps than Hyper212 Evo, one of the best budget air cooler. I had one, no issues with high temps

Edit: You should buy a keyboard with either Cherry MX Red or MX Blue and change the caps to the white ones (found some white hyperx one for 20$)

Have to agree. I prefer the pbt keycaps to the stock abs caps , but I would also rather have a solid color vs pudding. The puddings are a little too aggressive with the lighting for me.

Solid black or solid white would be great. They did start selling white pudding caps, check those out if you haven't.

At the end of the day it's all about what you want your setup to look like. I have a white desk, white mouse, and (soon) white keyboard, but a black mousepad for good contrast, considering my PC, monitors, and consoles are all black, I want a good balance.
