If you really want to, there are USB adapters for using Xbox controllers and the like on a PS4.

Unlike their other products, this one doesn't have an Amazon link yet even though it exists. It's still not available for purchase.

This adapter already looks way better than the Wii U Pro controller equivalent which only allowed you to use one type of controller on a PC or PS3. This one allows several types of controllers to work on PS3/4 and PC, meaning it will be possible to use the Switch Pro controller on a PS4!

Not at all, my Fifa 18 skills transfer perfectly on PS4. You might want to buy this though: https://www.amazon.com/MAGIC-S-Wireless-Controller-Adapter-PlayStation-4/dp/B073DXGH5M

Once used to the Pro Controller, there's no way back AFAIC. This adapter connects the Switch controller to PC and PS4.

You can try this Mayflash Magic-S adapter, it only says it supports Switch Pro Controller wirelessly but someone in the reviews said it worked with their Hori RAP V for Switch.

Or like the other guy said, you can get a Brook Wireless Fight Board or the cheaper PS4+audio blue colored board, both of them support PS4 and Switch but the PS4+audio board is wired connection only.

I was thinking this might work as others have mentioned using the equivalent NS adapter to connect their PS4 drums to the Switch

I think the general solution for getting a Switch Hori drum to work on PS4 is using a Magic-S adapter .

Getting the PS4 drum to work on switch requires the Magic-NS model, which is a little cheaper i guess. Doesn't make up for the quality decrease of the PS4 drums compared to the Switch one as far as i've heard though.

I also have no idea about the input lag on those things, so you might want to get some info on that first.

I want to play PS4 games but don't really like the dual shock 4. More specifically I don't like how my left thumb is positioned to use the stick on it. I am a big fan of the Xbone and Switch pro controllers.

My question is; Is it worth it to get a mayflash or xim apex adapter and just use my xbone controller? Is there a reason I should use the xim over the mayflash (which costs half the price?). There doesn't seem to be too much info on the mayflash adapter in general which seems weird given that it's switch counterpart is so popular with so much consumer info on it. Does anyone know if there are any compatability issues with the adapter?

Alternatively, is there a good 3rd party controller which I should get instead? most seem to keep the same thumb stick control scheme. The Hori controller and the nacon pro controller have a more favorable design but looking at the reviews seem to break down and are plagued with QC issues.
