It's one of three things, most to least likely:

  1. Monitor visual panel is going out

  2. Connection or cord is bad

  3. Graphics card is going out

    Solutions:

  4. New monitor

  5. New VGA, DVI, or HDMI

  6. Replace the video card

The mobo you picked out looks good. If you want to save a little more cash you could go mATX though.

GPU - This needs to change. You shouldn't be getting the mini and you should get a 4gb card. For about $40 more you can pick up a 1050 4gb. Something like this.

PSU - This looks fine.

I got this one, and it's nicely priced compared to a 1070 or 1080. I actually upgraded from an MSI GTX 750ti to that one, and noticed a big difference. AC games still ask for a lot, so definitely look into upgrading your CPU & Motherboard. I upgraded from an i4590 CPU, and it was required to upgrade the motherboard as well. There are some great MSI ones, as well as other brands.

What cards do you recommend? I saw one for $170 on Amazon w/ 4gb and planning on getting that one based on my computers performance

I’m pretty sure the 1050ti is not that expensive anymore

Go check it out yourself that is the recommendation by Bungie for graphics card, but if you have the money a 1080 or 2080 would be ideal

I was looking at getting this Carr on Amazon. Is this a good card for a cheap price or a good price for a cheap card?

If you are wanted ONLY a new Gcard.. look at this one. On sale. I have the same card in my gaming laptop. Decent card for the price.

Well I agree with everything except the 1050. The 470 can be had for less than $20 more than some 1050/1050ti's, but the 470 is soo much better. And a skylake i3 can handle a 480, 1060. I know you probably weren't meaning that the pentiums can't handle a better card, but that a 1050 would match a budget CPU, if you can get a 1050 under $100.

$159 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N3TCNNW/?tag=pcpapi-20

Wow. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MA62JSZ/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1484054528&sr=8-9&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=1050
I was gonna post this for lols, but why tf would someone pay $200 for a 1050ti?? A 480 can be had for that price. And a 480 is so much better than a 1050ti that it negates the purchase even for a gsync monitor. Wow.

Or for 10 bucks less you can get a 1050ti.

Good to see prices going down. Anybody think it could go lower in the coming months?
