I should mention that before my monkeybar rack I had this: https://smile.amazon.com/Thule-BSTK2-Bike-Stacker/dp/B001PQVOOY/ref=sr_1_36?keywords=home+bike+rack&qid=1563983665&s=gateway&sr=8-36 rack, I was able to put 4 bikes up with some additional foam, it was as dense as I could get and you had to take a bike off to get at the one behind it but it worked really well and was very sturdy.
